The first delivery company I hired through uhaul was completely MiA which screwed up my whole move. I flew in just to load up the box. Then I had to pay extra for another delivery company to get it the same day I had scheduled 3 weeks prior. The 2nd company was very late and unprofessional. She wasn’t even able to back the trailer into my driveway. Originally I was under the impression it would be dropped off one day and picked up the next as that’s what uhaul customer service told me. She told me i had an hour to load it up and I’m a 5’2 100 pound female with a bad back. I probably spent a total of 5 hours on the phone with uhaul customer service trying to figure things out. Then as soon as I get the delivery scheduled , they put the wrong address so I had to call again. Horrible experience. Only positive is the customer service I talked to was nice.
MICHALE TStaff was friendly, courteous and knowledgable. Communication from U-Haul was great. I would definately use U-Hual and this location again.
ROBERT W5 star employees 0 star equipment The truck I received had severe damage on the driver's side mirror. The bottom portion was shattered and the fixture would not stay in place as soon as I got on the highway so I couldn't see anything out of it whatsoever. I had to pull over and use half a roll of packing tape to keep it from moving. When I arrived the staff couldn't find the keys to the truck I had reserved anywhere on site, I wasn't on the road until almost 2 hours after my reservation which complicated my move immensely. That said, I want to commend the staff for going to the lengths that they did to track down the keys. The situation wasn't their fault and they went to great lengths to get them. They were very friendly and did a great job dealing with a situation that was out of their control. The customer service rep that I spoke with on the phone for scheduling was fantastic as well.

PAUL MI booked a 15’ truck several days in advance. When I arrived on my pick up day/time, I was informed that there were no 15’ trucks available. I was further told the reason was that those trucks were given to walk-in customers that happened to show up before my contractually agreed, pre-scheduled, allotted time. How is that acceptable? That is no way to treat a long-time, repeat customer as myself. Totally disrespectful and disgraceful.
JAMES DAllow us to use the 10 foot truck for one way hauls. The 15 foot was larger than we needed and it was a gas hog.

As I approached the counter she was texting or engages on social media on two different phones and had audio ear buds in. As I stood there, awkwardly waiting for her to look up, she finally acknowledged me by asking, “Whatchu need?” As you might imagine it all went downhill from there. Fortunately, another customer service rep intervened and assisted me with getting checked out and connecting the trailer I rented.
Craig Rstaff is not trained on equipment. horrifying experience. could not exit auto after putting on hauler. was instructed to exit auto through sunroof. when dropping of auto hauler, excellent staff informed me that chains were not installed to vehicle and hauler. tire strap came disconnected from auto. very dangerous, was very fortunate an accident didn't occur. staff said additional charge of $25. to assist customer. when i insisted it be put on my charge card, they informed me they wouldn't charge me for assisting me but mention it the next time i rented equipment so they could put it on my charge card. DOUGLAS EThank you for allowing me to be a part of the U-Haul community. Your facility was convenient for me, access was great, and being able to utilize an indoor space was awesome when needing to reorganize during inclement weather, didn't have to worry about my things being damaged. Reasonable rates compared to another facility I was using, and had the same size unit, indoor, but paying about $32 more. I was just pleased knowing my things were protected and available to me. DEREK RDimitrius stole my wallet from this location! We rented a U-Haul from this location on Saturday morning! We made our trip and then came back. We were the first people to drop our U-Haul off after hours around 7:30. I followed the prompts, locked the doors, and dropped the keys off in the drop box. I returned home and realized that I left my wallet in the U-Haul. I went back at 10:11 pm to check if my wallet was in the U-Haul. It was! the doors were locked so I wasn’t able to retrieve it. I took a picture (time stamped at 10:11pm) of my wallet in the U-Haul. I went back on Sunday morning at 9am when this location opened, and the U-Haul that I had returned was the only one that had been checked in by the worker. Surprise, my wallet was gone. We called the police and filed a police report. Report # 250163093 They showed up and the general manager also showed up. They reviewed the cameras and confirmed that no one had entered the U-Haul between the time that we dropped it off at 7:30pm and the following morning when dimitrius moved the U-Haul at 9am. I have a picture of my wallet in the U-Haul and Dimitrius was the only person to enter the U-Haul. He stole my wallet. I would like a full refund on my visit.
TAYLOR GI reserved a 10x10 and once I got there was told that I had a 7x13 which is the back of a old uhaul truck and the cost was more than what the bigger one was. I want the size that I reserved or I won’t be paying for the smaller one until I get what I purchased

DORETHA SPromote Shikira!! She was quick and efficient with an infectious smile. This is not usually the experience someone at the U-Haul counter provides. I've used your services for over 20 years and I cannot remember the last time I can say my experience was awesome, so hats off to Shikira. What's even more amazing is that the customer in front of me had the same experience and used the words "quick and efficient". When I returned the vehicle a few hours later, just before closing Shikira was still there with the same smile and effectiveness. I'm definitely coming back to this location and can only hope Shirkira or someone like her is there to help me. The other teams members onsite were also very helpful and professional.

DONNA BIt was 8° and I was directed to pick up a uhaul that was not on the lot after 10 minutes of searching I returned for assistance and was given more specific directions. After additional time searching and returning once again they informed me the truck was not available and the proceeded to have me fill out paperwork for a new rental. Overall I spent about an additional 45 minutes at the rental facility which resulted in missing 15 minutes of paid time with my hired movers. I would suggest at large lots they pull the rental up to the front as a courtesy.

DEJUAN TI have been a frequent uhaul customer for over 10 years. Rent them for me and my employees for weeks at a time to use for work. When we went to this location we were not allowed to rent the van we had reserved because we have out of state licenses regardless of the fact that most of our long term rentals have been out of state and always paid. This was not to us until we got there and we were only allowed to rent a very inconvenient box truck. No communication and no explanation but we do not rent those to out of state people regardless of history. Very disappointed

Corneka C | Overall ExperienceIn past rentals with uhaul, I was walked out to find the truck and examine it. This time, they simply gave me the key and had me walk out on my own to find it. I wheeled the appliance dolly around the entire lot to find my truck in the far back corner, and then I was blocked in by someone unloading a van.

DAYONA TTried to get the general manager to cut the lock off...I left the keys n the uhaul truck I rented....I called and a lady said she would have to gm call me cause he was the only one who can cut the lock off...never got the call...emailed and never received a reply...they didn't call me...until money was due...bad communication.....now i have lost the lil stuff I had...was not going to pay for another month...the first time I came in to rent my storage two employees was arguing n front of mang...he didn't say or do anything..just set there..
Willette H | Overall ExperienceI reserved a storage unit back in September 2024 because I knew I was moving in Jan. 2025 and would need 2 months of storage for my items. When I showed up to check in and receive my unit I was given a 5x10x10 climate controlled unit, like I reserved. However, after locating the unit I was given, there was still a lock on the unit (#857). I went back to the office and they said that meant someones stuff was still inside, and I was able to reserve it because it was marked as "moved out" in their system. I was then told they did not have any more 5x10x10 units available and after the employee called the GM, he said on the phone that a reservation does not guarantee a unit - then what is the point of making a reservation?? He also said he is unable to provide a 10x10 unit for the price of a 5x10, even though I specifically reserved a 5x10 and did not need the larger size or want to pay for it. He did offer the first month rent free (the phone was on speaker) but the lady helping me still ended up charging me. She was then quite rude when I asked why she charged me, since I heard the first month should be free, and told me "not to worry about it". The most upsetting part is they no longer had any climate controlled units and some of my items required that, so I was unable to store all of my items. Overall I was very disappointed in the disorganization on their end that caused this problem, and the lack of basic manners when trying to resolve it. I would definitely not recommend this location to anyone in need of storage, I'm sure you can find a more organized facility with better customer service elsewhere.

QUA'RON SI returned my van after less than 24 hours and with more gas than when I started, but was offered a refund or even an opportunity to speak with anyone at the facility—the only people I saw working there were the ones who were checking the cans back in and they were very polite, but o bviously freezing and(understandably) in a hurry.

MARLEIA EThe guy whom I returned the truck to was very rude and impolite. I told him not to enter to the vehicle before I take out all my stuff off the vehicle but he was very impatient and behaved very rude to me. He also overcharged me for fuel as well as charged me xtra 90 bucks for no reason.
SHIHAB SWhen there is a reservation for a truck have the truck ready at the reservation time. Our truck was buried behind other trucks. One of trucks in front of us wouldn’t start so had to get a new contract for a different truck. Didn’t have the furniture dollies we reserved. We were there for almost an hour waiting for everything.
NICOLE BYoung lady was very helpful and patient with us. I have not rented a truck before on my own and she was kind enough to take the time to walk me through the process even though she was short handed. I appreciate her giving me the knowledge I was looking for to feel more comfortable in moving forward. Great customer service.

When I first rented the storage unit I rented a 10x10 but had to change to a 5x5 because that was the one I had to get for the free month storage offer. Well that size was two small for my queen size bed so I had to get the 10x10 which ended up costing me more money, that I was aware of when I first rented the unit but not upon arrival to Ohio. I guess all ended well with me getting the larger unit, it just was an inconvenience of having to come up with more money when I was already waiting on a refund from U-Haul for the first tracker rental. Long story short, it wasn't the fault of U-Haul in Ohio, they were great, the problem was with the online booking. Very stressful.

MICHAEL A | Overall ExperienceOn 7/6/2024 @ 7:00 am in the morning, spoke with Michael sales agent to rent a unit (storage). Info that the necessary unit.# 1133 was available, but needed to be clean. Asked me if I could come back about 12 noon, informed him that 1 o'clock would be all right if pressed for time. On 7/7/2024 returned to find out unit was not clean. Had a large old oak dresser, a huge granite, slate, a large bucket of semi gloss, wall, paint, and broken glass plus trash left behind. Seen a sales clerk(Noel) I asked him could he provide mop bucket and dust pan so I could immediately start cleaning up. He stated, " he be right over after he finished with his client. Son, returning with the needed cleaning products, he'll began assisting. I had already removed the drawer, wall paint, and trash but couldn't remove granite being extremely too heavy. Mister Noel eventually assist in the removal. Staying there until I finish cleaning the unit, I think him for his great assistance. He is a great asset to your company, another African, American young lady tried to assist. Truly I wouldn't come back if it wasn't for having a previous storage and Noel. Sincerely Mr. Derek M. I was having some issues with accessing the building, so I had to keep bothering her (my words, not hers) and each time she explained in clear details what to do, and this was much appreciated because at this point I was going to leave and come back another day! About a month ago they emailed me saying they couldn't get in touch with me and that my things were auctioned off. However if they couldn't get in touch with me how did I receive the email. Also, the close date for my unit is the 1st of this month which still means that I could have set up a payment plan. Of now they're telling me I just have to pay and I don't think I should have to pay considering they lied saying they couldn't get in touch with me. I am TROUGHHLLY dissatisfied as disappointed wit my experience. I WLL NOT be recommending U-HAUL.

Recommend 100%. Our storage unit in Columbus on E. 5th street was very clean, easily accessible, prepared with a lock and key. We did a self check-in and easily proceeded to store our extra household and seasonal items. Had two flatbeds for people to use. Great help!! Thank you! :-)

Richard W | Overall ExperienceThe only issue I had was with the billing account system. The way it displays your payments/balance is not user-friendly. When looking at the balance column, it shows dollar balances in parenthesis. In any other system, that would mean that there is a credit on your account, but not theirs. That was a bit inconvenient because I had to take the time to try and figure it out and then email my question to the location's GM, Erin. She got back to me VERY quickly and provided a detailed explanation. I was very happy with everything about this facility and its employees though.
JENNIFER K | Overall ExperienceThe truck was all over the road. It needs an alignment ASAP!!! I was told by a man named Fred that the entire process time would be 7-10 minutes. It took 50 minutes for me to get the truck and storage unit. The staff needs to be thoroughly crossed train... The the unit door would not slide back to open, so I called an employee to help me to get the door open, and by the time he got back to the unit, I had managed to get it open and unload my car... So not good!
