WILLIAM AI think his name was Steve and "Uhaul Mama" in Kokomo were great. I could tell they believe in a customer service. They went above and beyond.
MILTON BMr. Miller was there before 7am, so when I walked in right at 7am, the man was ready to hit the ground running. I had an hour and 50 minutes to unload and return my box truck. Mr. Miller helped me pick the best size to be able to unload quickly and easily, so I didn't have to stack a much, and the uhaul was checked back in before our return time. I was met with only storage and moving experts, and as long as I need storage in Kokomo, Mr. Miller has my business at his facility

Shirley WOnly problem I had was, I reserved a “free” 1 month storage unit from a gentleman online on the u haul site. Then it was charged to my credit card. I’m still trying to get a refund.

DAWN MI will probably never use U-Haul again; be sure to look for any competitor. The whole pickup process was a nightmare--I'm PAYING you to rent the truck and for basic services, but in order to shave a buck they have NO staff whatsoever. YOU engage in a scavenger hunt to find your truck in a huge parking lot, then follow the clues to find the keys, then stop and take 20 pictures of the vehicle for the company. Not to mention you have to have three references, an employer, submit a blood sample, and read a 200 page contract. Aren't I giving you $700? Why do you need to harass my family, friends, and employer? The extras I paid for were not in the truck, and of course I had to go on another hunt to locate where they'd been stashed. This was the worst experience, bar none, renting a truck to help my family move.

MATTHEW TThe bill was paid on the 6th and I got everything out on the 17th. They told me they don't prorate. So I paid $79.95 for 11 days. Which is ridiculous. I am relocating here because I lost everything I own in hurricane Helene in Florida. My husband had brain surgery so I couldn't get back on the 6th. Sometimes certain things should warrant looking into such as what the circumstances was for a refund. Everything else was good. Just feel like we were taking advantage of, where is the Hoosier hospitality?

RANDALL NI made a reservation for a 5x8 trailer more than a week out from pickup day. The day I picked it up it was not available at this location. No one called to tell me either and I had to take a 4x8 instead. Do better Kokomo UHaul.
ALICIA SI went with average because it took four visits to get everything right so we didn’t set the alarm off every time we opened our unit. BUT, the guys were extremely helpful and we finally got the problem solved.

LAURA PI"m not so sure on the check--out procedure. With so many automated emails from U-Haul, it would seem like a finalizing email could be sent upon relinquishing the unit, since it takes local verifcation from a manage.

At the store there was still a lot of paperwork to be done. If there is a way to streamline the process, that would be great.

They were out of stock of a couple of moving supplies I had reserved but they were very helpful finding a substitute and very helpful when I had to rent the truck for an extended period when the winter weather kicked in and delayed my moving progress lol which I really appreciated. JOYCE MThere was confusion about the deposit and whether or not the rental rate itself was charged to the credit card on file when the deposit was returned, but all matters were resolved and there are no further issues.
TIRAN ELeft inner rear and left front tires need replaced. Truck bucked badly on not so smooth roads.
