I rented a 10 by 10 but it actually was 9.5 by 8.5 - it made the storage tight for what I had. Staff said that is how the building was constructed. That was my only negative point.

Cheri GI reserved a 10’x10’x10’ storage unit. I was given two 5’x10’x10’. We made it work but be careful. I can only assume this was purposely done to try and force us to pay for a second lock. Luckily we thought to bring our own “just in case”. The process to gain access to your storage unit was beyond confusing. NOT user friendly or straight forward. As a first time storage unit user I would not have figured out the “self access” if it wasn’t for going to the office to get an employees help. Thank goodness that employee was there! Wish I got her name to give her credit.
Tamara TWe had reserved 2 furniture trolleys and there were none. There were no good options left either. When we went to get our truck, it was wedged in between 2 other trucks. The whole experience was quite frustrating.
THOMAS BCourtney assisted me with the pickup and drop off, it was busy at the location and she looked understaffed but she was exceptional! She kept her cool and assisted everyone almost all at once. She was helpful and informative and super efficient. For the truck i requested a dolly that was not available and she offered to check every truck if i needed it. I really appreciated that dedication but i declined as i didn't want to add anymore stress to her day and made do without it just fine. You have a real gem, make sure you hold onto her. The location is convenient and easy to get to, the truck was a U-Haul so it was exactly what i expected and worked just fine for my needs. Will definitely use this location again.

BILL ROver the past few years we have rented several units at the Woody Rd Uhaul centre. It has been a positive experience every single time. The staff are fantastic and work hard to help you find the best unit for your needs. The storage building is always clean, well lit, warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I wish to express my appreciation for all of their help.

jennnifer dThe lady was VERY rude and told us WE were wrong and tried charging us more than we owed as THEY gave us the wrong paperwork and requested proof of the bill also sent to my email and when I showed her that she still argued that we were wrong because WE should have checked it and we had to pay extra for gas and I am not sure but I think we were also over charged for the kilometers as we had changed to a smaller vehicle because the 1st 10' truck was running terrible and making a loud strange noise. So we chamged to a cargo van So they hadn't updated the billing properly and insisted we were wrong even though it was their mistake. It was the worst experience we have had with Uhaul, plus after we finally settled it after the manager came out and knew we weren't in the wrong but was rude and snapped at us.The other lady tried returning the money owed to my bank account and it wouldn't send and she also tried blaming my card which there was nothkng wrong with it . I will NEVER go to that location ever again.

Tara LFrustrating experience dealing with front desk. One individual in particular was fairly useless in terms of customer service. Had to switch vehicles due to problem with U-Haul. Vehicle loud as door insulation was off. Will never rent U-Haul again. Rented same vehicle with budget the weekend before. Way better expertise budget/avis.
HILARY WLocking my exterior unit door was difficult because the sliding piece of metal was far too stiff and difficult to slide over with ease. Perhaps keeping lubricated would help.

There was only one employee there that actually helped us and she’s fantastic! She definitely needs a raise. Overall we probably won’t be using U-Haul again because of the lack of training and communication. If you want to be better TRAIN your employees, your entire business is based off of customer care you need to be able to at less fake it!

There is nothing else to say, UHaul should be ashamed to have a website this confusing. It should be against the law. I blieve you should have the logs of all transaction, and you can validate these random numbers (km and $ amounts) If not, I have the screenshots.

I believe this is because they prematurely closed out the contract since another customer was waiting to rent the equipment and it was within an hour of closing time.

LUIGI SSome units don’t offer elevator. It is unknown how facility come up with that arrangement to offer second floor units without a working elevator. Call and ask or check your unit before wasting your time. Store manager was helpful and provided a refund however logic of charging more for units without elevator just not right in this type of business.

Then I got a call from someone at the dispatch and the rest was a bit of a nightmare coordinating, from random pick up locations, a drop-off location that was inputed nowhere near the storage locker, rude people on the phone, a 45 minute call to try and sort out the drop off with no resolution. Other than the experience at the storage facility, the process with Haul was a bit of a mess and I wouldn't recommend it to those who don't want a run around.

danila k | Online Move InWhen we booked the storage locker we were advised the locker we had was the biggest. That night we struggled moving items into the locker. Ultimately found out the next day a way bigger locker was available. Upset the customer service representative did not offer that option to us. Very disappointing as the room was very difficult to maneuver. The door/ locker was very weak and not as sturdy as other locations. When I eventually spoke to the manager/ acting manager the refund for the locker was issued but I had to present my Carlsen as we had rented a van at another location. The initial customer service woman was very discouraging and I have always had an amazing experience with Uhaul. I was saddened and upset by thr treatment from the initial customer service rep that I spend 3 weeks resolving the issues. We have closed down the locker and moved to another facility.

I spoke to the manager, Lorelai, and assumed she had taken care of the error. I arrived again a week later to find that i had been locked out of my unit again. I spoke to lorelai once again, i found her rude and unapologetic. She was very unprofessional. The beginning of this month I received an email from Uhaul saying I was late with my monthly payment and was charged a late fee and locked out again. I was confused as my credit card was nowhere near its limit. I called Uhaul and spoke with a young man to find out that there was no credit card on file for my account. (You cant make this stuff up). I have had nothing but issues as a direct result of the unprofessionalism and incompetenace of Lorelai, the manager. If I treated my clients like this, i would have none. Do yourself a favour and go to another Uhaul in the area or make sure to have another customer representative take care of you at this location.

I spent some time double checking things with live chat and felt that since I spent more then an hour double checking my reservation I would just go to the counter and double check again and be on my way. The excellent employee spent a lot of time going over the things that I had already went over, since I didn't bring my computer I diidn't have quick answers to every single question, all i wanted was to get what I had spent the time reserving. After 45 minutes of questions I got the rental, if the reservation email had the instruction to bring all those questions i would have, I don't get why I was reminded to bring some info and not all the required inf. I had to take a call as that process was ridicuously long, and the person left me to explain another customers bill. That other customer was being rude and boy I felt those rude urges in me since my online work was pointless. Assuming I didn't do that online work I would say what a great team and building, there was an annoying customer in the building and the team kept there composure and was great with me and my helper, she gave me my first months rent free, I like how they get along with each other and me and my friend, they walked with me to show the keypad which i would have had to gone back and ask for help, all around they are pros and I will come back for the next move.. Not only were they not accommodating and rude every time I came in or call, they didn’t listen to a thing we ask, was very unhelpful, and very reluctant to do anything, especially during such a tough year. Not to mention, when renting their trucks, they didn’t explain about the mileage you can’t go over and only disclose this after we return the vehicle, making us not able to get our deposit back. Moving is already stressful enough, but add on to the added stress from some hidden clause that wasn’t disclose is unacceptable. If this was explained ahead of time, we would’ve paid attention to it. I would’ve given them a 0 if I could. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever again! By far the worst experience I ever had!

The police were called & involved and perpetrator was arrested 7 days later. The facility did not assist in retrieving camera footage_claiming only one camera was working for the entire facility and only caught the beginning of the altercation. This facility was chosen as it claims to have 24-Hour Video Monitoring-untrue. Nonetheless Miranda & Zachery were extremely helpful and knowledgeable but the "manager" David did not seemingly care nor take any notes about the incident or trauma suffered by the victim . The victim had been transported to Trafalgar Oakville Hospital via ambulance from the UHaul Woody Oakville Location the previous evening after the assault. She is still recovering from the assault. DO NOT RENT STORAGE HERE AS IT IS NOT SAFE.
