I rented a 26 foot moving truck for a local move. Total miles driven were under 70. The truck gets roughly 10 miles per gallon. I put 10 gallons of gas in the vehicle upon return. That would cover about 100 miles. Since I drove less than 70 miles I thought I was ok. When I got my receipt I discovered they charged me for 9 gallons of gas. I brought it to their attention and they said they would have the manager call me. A month later I'm still waiting for the call. Not holding my breath. It's my fault for not taking before and after pictures of the fuel gauge. I will remember to do that if I ever rent a truck again.

Emily LFirst of all I reserved a Truck, 2 Furniture Dollies, one Appliance Dolly and 12 Furniture pads. When I got to the Location in Orange City I was told that they did NOT have any Appliance Dollies or any Furniture Dollies (despite the fact that I had already reserved them.) Upon Returning I added more than the required amount of FUEL but was ALSO CHARGED an additional $16- for not "Folding" my furniture pads (Blankets). NO ONE "Instructed me to do this and I was NOT given the "Opportunity" to do this before charging me the $16 for NOT folding the Blankets. IF that is the "Policy" fine, but let your CUSTOMERS know in advance or give them the opportunity to do that before "Charging them". I may have NOT been the FIRST Customer to get scammed on this, but "hopefully" I am the LAST!!!
MICHAEL RThis was the closest U-Haul for us to rent a 26' one for hauling items in town. We were told the tank was 1/2 full and to fill it back to that point. My driver didn't realize it and said it was only at a 1/4 tank when he started out. So for a 30 mile round trip, with little to no idling time, we had to put in over $50 in gas. We will make sure to note next time the actual fuel level and not trust the location.

RYAN YFacility is dirty and needs to be power washed. The truck we rented the drivers side door did not operate will/ wouldn’t close at times. Vibration when driving down the road. Experience could have been better.

MARIE N10/10 We had one issue at the Debary location with the original rental not being available but that agent handled it perfectly and worked with the Orange City location to get us taken care of seamlessly with minimal set backs and allowed me to use the truck overnight for the inconvenience. ARNALDO JMy 2nd rental. 1 st was excellent, however 2nd was not. 1st the interior was at best grungy. The windows were so dirty I could barely see at time depending on the sun. The AC was questionable at times it would just stop working. Making it very uncomfortable. The worst thing was that I couldn't get the driver's door to close properly. I hurt my shoulder trying to get it closed. There was clear damage to the door. Inside & out. I HAVE PHOTOS & VIDEOS THAT Will CLEARLY SHOW DAMAGE. It will also show the struggle of closing it. It is clearly dangerous. So to avoid any further action, LEGAL. I am requesting that the excessive charges be forgiven. A request of my 100 dollar deposit be returned & maybe a free 24 hour rental before I share on social Media the dirty hazardous bare metal ECT . .. please feel free to contact me with any further questions. This statement is accurate and true. I screen shot this for documentation. You can clearly see the cab was blown out to remove the dirt but was never cleaned like you'd expect a leading truck rental should be. There was also warning lights on the dashboard lite.

William BWe were also told by 2 different employees it would be pro rated because we only needed for 1 day but it automatically charges for 4… we busted our butt to get it unloaded after an 11 hour drive returned at the 27 hour mark and was informed here they do NOT pro rated the trailers. Very disappointing.

He had completed the transaction referencing the trailer number while I was still parking it. Overall really easy.

DANIEL EOn the U-haul App, when reserving an enclosed trailer, we need to the option to pick ramp style door or regular hinged door type. I was able to get a new ramp style door type, but had to ask the associate if they had it in stock; which they did. Staff was very accommodating and professional.
