KIM LI came in early to pick up the truck, a couple of hours before my designated pickup time. The owner of the facility was there and immediately took care of me and had me out in about 15 minutes. Excellent customer service!!

Jeffrey ZI got a storage unit and had it less than one month and then the monthly rate was raised. Then I wanted to switch to a smaller unit and the price was only $25 cheaper for a unit that was half the size? All of the pricing that was posted and printed said one thing but I was charged something completely different! The whole experience felt shady and deceptive. As well as having to wait for someone to unlock the doors several times when I wanted to get in. One morning it was almost 9:30 am before I could get in to my unit. I won’t use this location again and I don’t think I will ever use U-Haul for my storage needs either.

JAMIE PWhen I returned the trailer back to U-Haul, the yard person was asking me to pay for the rental upon return. I told him I paid at the begin of the rental. His hand hold device showed non payment. I had to prove it on my device that I already paid. Thought that was strange. Having cleared that up return went well
JOHN WTrailer had small rocks, dirt and other items on the floor. All it would of took is a simple clean off with a air blower or hose. I had to do this myself at home rather than risk them falling off the trailer and damaging other vehicles on the highway. Other than that the employees were very nice and helpful.

Phyllis is truly irreplaceable. She deserves to be making so much, she should be considered for a spot in the corporate office because she could definitely help to fix the issues with other u haul facilities and/or it's affiliate. One of the best thing that I haul did was to hire her as a representative of the company.

GARY LI rented a utility trailer. It would be great if you guys had and used a cordless leaf blower to blow out all the grass and/or leaves that many times accumulate in the bed. Do this just prior to hooking up to the vehicles.

WILLIAM SWas told the truck was full on gas and it ended up only having a quarter tank had to fill it up $83 dollars later on used a quarter tank and was never refunded the money I spent. I was never updated on the payment when I emailed the manager of the store. Months later still nothing.

LATRICE BThe Orange City location is fantastic for maneuvering large trucks. The staff that retrieve the trucks are young men and not very verbal. Their customer service skills can use a little tending. I had dropped the vehicles off on a Wednesday, I had a 26' truck, 15' truck and a vehicle transport. I was overcharged for 2 additional days because the trucks were not properly listed in the stores' inventory. However, I can prove when the vehicles were returned because I have an email confirmation showing it. This is concerning but hopefully the store manager properly credits me.

Marie LI would give a higher rating since it was a new van with ~ 5k miles, except the interior of the windshield was very dirty. Also, I picked up a nail in one of my tires on my personal vehicle int he u-haul parking area when dropping off the van.

REYNOL KThe drop off location was despicable. I extended the rental on the app as requested but the people at the drop off location in orange city Fl. Was very rude and insulting every day calling or insisting I call them to keep the rental regardless of me using the ap. The last day even lied telling me their system wouldn’t recognize the extension. I spoke with them telling them I was working alone and would need the truck for several more days but they insisted on calling me several times every day to extend the rental! I was treated like a thief rather than a customer I’m not sure what the advantage was for them to have the truck instead of me extending the rental as agreed but if I have to deal with them ever again I will use another company. They shouldn’t represent U-Haul if you want return customers they are very pushy and rude for no reason I could see! More than one person there acted like it was their personal truck I took without permission even though my card on file paid in full when I returned it! Negative 5 stars for orange city facility!

TYLER MNot enough employees when you opened on Sunday. Waited in line close to a half hour for truck pickup. Truck was workable, but column shifter was very worn on truck. Hard to get truck into park which was a little scary at first. The truck was clean though.

SEBASTIAN Q | Online Move InOverall my experience was good, the few things I would say is first the exit gate was always breaking. It was always open. Even though I had a lock on my door. The extra security was good to know.the second thing is the bugs. There was always spider web on my lock area. And now that I moved out, I found a lot of silver fish and other bugs. No of this was the radon for leaving. I needed a a bigger unit with climate control and one was not available. If a unit was available then I would had move into it. Phyllis was great to work with and was always helpful .

I had a climate controlled unit and the temperature/humidity was always consistent. During office hours there was always someone around if I had a question. The only reason I left was because a storage facility opened up within walking distance of my home, if I ever need to come back to the Orange City U-Haul I will not hesitate to do so. I highly recommend this location.

We were told there was no place near us and was sent to Deland, Fl. After they gave us a unit, the entire truck unloaded, we were told we were not even supposed to leave the truck at their facility. The computer showed we were supposed to return it to a place in Cresent City. I explained we tried during 800# was not open and no one returned our calls. Rep said no all places had rental units and we were sent to Deland. However, computer said we were to return truck to Virginia!!!??? We were standing in U-Haul office for over an HOUR because no one knew how to correct the problem even though the truck was sitting right in front of their office...Completely Empty. Hope we never need to use again.

If we were to turn on the small refrigerator in the RV to put food in prior to a trip, we would have had a real problem to find that it had not been running. Also, our space was not as long as it should have been because the renters behind us encroached upon ou space. Otherwise it is a nice clean space.

Mark F | Overall ExperienceI was told I had access at all times. That's further from the truth. Each time I need access to mu unit I had to either have trucks moved or could nkt access. Using the alley ways in front of the storage units for your paying customers access for your overflow parking of your moving trucks is unacceptable. I spent alot on money per month to have little access. When I communicated my frustrations to the staff I was told basically to bad... it's the only place to park the trucks. Your overflow and logistics of the company's vehicles is not my problem. Access to a unit I pay for should have been their priority and resolved the problem. I've moved my belongs to your competitor and will continue to advocate to my friends and family anyone in need of storage to steer away from Uhaul storage.

Some of the employees are so unhelpful is incredible you have storage business. And the parking is so congested, confusing, narrow and busy it’s so frustrating to get in and out. Unless you just don’t want or expect females doing the driving and putting the belongings away. On top of that U-Haul ought to be thankful that the vehicle arrived before expected, with the necessary gasoline, and in the same shape it was rented instead of having petty charges!!

It was always clean and the area for loading and unloading was large with lots of room to move the carts provided around. The only suggestion I would make is that the carts should have a brake as they move around when you are loading and unloading so you need to have at least two people or three for heavy large items so once can hold the cart.

It was also where people parked to have access to the indoor storage. I got blocked in more than once, and had to detour around the building twice. If they could have put a card reader closer to where my unit was (WAY in the back row), it would have been easier.
