I was told to return the trailer back in the same slot where I picked it up. I was offered no help. The trailer is heavy and I'm old. It was difficult. As soon as I got the traler off the hitch it began sliding backwards. I didn't think I could stop it but I did. If I didn't it would have rolled down as the lot slopes down and is an embackment directly leading to a CVS store, right where their drive through prescription pickup is. That would have been a disaster. I should have been offered help and warned that the parking area slopes. I was given no instruction other than to put it back where I got it from. Service here used to be top notch. I am disappointed with this location.

The location I went to had only one working computer (with three possible computers available). This made checkingnin take longer when opening with multiple people waiting. There was another worker that could have helped process clients faster but could do nothing.

Our truck was broken and wouldn't turn off. We called the uhaul roadside, who also couldn't figure it out. We drove it back a day earlier (no refund for the unused day) and they made us call uhaul roadside again. We ended up fixing the problem ourselves. Also, it's dumb that you provide a dolly in the truck and then charge to use it without making that clear.

I reserved my truck two days in advance. i had to be the one outside clearing off the snow from the day before., but you have no problem charging $25 if the back isn’t swept out.

My only complaint was the $18 dollar cleaning fee they hit me with. I even wiped out the back of the trailer as stated in my contract, so why the $18 cleaning fee? Also I pulled up and waited in the truck as instructed and waited a good 10 minutes while I sat there and watched the guy walk around the lot on his phone the entire time until he finally decided to look up and see me sitting there. Not very happy about that.

I think everything was great. My only gripe is there wasn’t a full tank when picking it up but it all worked out. It was also confusing returning the drop box keys on the other side of the building. Maybe I missed a sign and it was dark since I parked closer to where I picked the keys up from, mobile pick up. I think mobile pick up is an awesome idea. Although we cleaned out my brother in laws apartment (he passed away) and my husband left a travel mug of my brother in in trailer of the rental kind of sad about not having it. But overall I thought the rental was in phenomenal condition and will be back for future rentals from this location when needed.

I love this uhaul facility. The people are friendly and very helpful. They gave good suggestions and even helped me find exactly what I was looking for, even though I wasn't sure of what I needed. They asked me the right questions to figure out what I would need for storage and they were right, it's the perfect size for what I need.

The ratchet straps on the car hauler were seized up. I had to go from my house to a store and back to purchase anti seize spray to free both rachet mechanisms up.

The messed up the mileage and over charged me by $300. The employee probably never even looked at the mileage from multiple people before me and then charged me for all those miles. I have to wait two days for a manager to fix the issues. I will never go to this uhaul location again.

The rental of the truck went well and the truck was in good condition. However, when I returned the truck, a female employee who clearly didn't realize I was waiting in the building for my ride to pick me up made some deeply inappropriate comments about other employees. She may wish to fully check her surroundings before saying things that could sincerely offend customers. Or, she may just wish to consider choosing her words about others more carefully in general.

We had a problem with the straps on the wheels of the car on the trailer. When we reported it & received a phone call back, we were told that it wasn't possible that the straps were not secured properly. I have dealt with race car trailering all my life & know when something is done incorrectly. The 10% off the price was very little compared to what could have happened because of thise negligence. I will never deal with Uhaul again & intend to tell everyone I come in contact with about the handling of this issue.

I was charged for 2 gallons of gas when the gas gauge read the same upon returning the vehicle. I put 18 miles on the vehicle. Can’t imagine the truck only gets 9 miles per gallon? Frustrating!

I have not received an email yet confirming that I have vacated the storage unit. Also I was told that I should be receiving a refund for the last payment since it was posted on the same day we vacated the unit. Otherwise the experience was very good

My unit had a rusted out door that scratched some of my items and dropped rust particles on my things. It was a storage trailer sitting on the ground, so, in the winter, it was basically inaccessible. The unit leaked water in the far back corner that I never knew for 2 years. Fortunately I had my furniture wrapped in plastic because there were PUDDLES of sitting water and my furniture was damaged. I didn’t have the insurance apparently, event though I was paying a lot per month for the unit, and basically was handed a pamphlet and told too bad. Glad to be out of there.

My storage unit leaks & some of my stuff was wet. It didn't flood, these items were up on that shelf in the back of the storage unit. I thought putting my more important items there would save them from a flood. I still have to check to make sure nothing was ruined.

I was given a quote and order number over the phone. Upon arrival I was told that what I booked was not an option and I'd have to pay significantly more. After being transferred back and forth between departments, and absolutely no accommodation by the Orchard Park site, I ended up leaving with my items and canceling completely. I'm extremely disappointed and this put a huge strain on my family while we are moving.

The inconvenience of getting into the storage unit between ur open hours madebit difficult since I work second shift and it woukd have been more convenient to stop on way home from work. But the fees/fines u gave for being in my unit after hours is the most ridiculous thing I have heard of with storage units. Which is the reason for me leaving!!! So those fines need to be addressed along with ur access hours.

No elevator service to second floor storage units. I am disabled and this made it very difficult.

We were extremely impressed with the facility and staff. We stored on the second floor because we were concerned of potential dampness, however, after several visits we learned that due to climate control we were doubtful that would have been a concern. The facility was kept clean and safe. The staff extremely polite, helpful and professional. It would have been nice to have lighting inside the "stall" but not an absolute necessity, otherwise the overall facility was well lit. The price was comparable to other local storage places but far exceeded the quality of the metal free standing storage sheds we had visited at the time. I hated to leave but my wife said I was out of the dog house and I could now return home (just kidding!). Wayne

So far, so good. Just moved in!! Pleasing and approachable staff. Good location, hours, security and parking . Clean and dry (not damp) inside storage area. A service elevator would be nice to access second floor areas and a little better lighting inside the cubicals, but neither are necessary. The rental price is comparable to another facility I checked out but I found this a better facility. I give this place a thumbs up.

We rented an upper 10x10 and a lower 15x10 unit. We were NOT told that the upper unit had a huge roof support beam running through the unit. When we checked in, we asked for another unit without a beam. We were told they only had smaller units available without the beam. This should have been disclosed before hand.

I had problems since day 1 getting into the building to access our units. Then, the last 2 weeks we couldn't get in without an employee opening the door, which made moving everything out difficult.

During the entire time I had my storage unit, I cannot think of a single instance when I was not fully satisfied with the facility and the staff. I was always treated courteously and professionally, and any questions I had were answered quickly and completely. I ended my rental because I no longer required it, but would not hesitate to return if I needed one again. Overall, I could not have been more pleased with my experience with U-Haul of Orchard Park.
