I arrived at 4:59 pm to return the rental truck and they had closed and locked the doors already and then they charged me an after hours charge. Terrible.

Always helpful in reserving for another state but should clarify a reservation is not a guarantee at a specific location you request. This happened twice. The first time it happened we thought it was just a coincidence but since it happened a second time it's a real issue.

Employee took my keys before I could take a picture of the odometer and gas gauges. They were closing and should have asked if my check in was complete.

Everything went smoothly except for the biggest thing of all. We had rented a 10X20 unit but when we got there the employee (Joe) told us that there aren't any 10X20 units and instead we would have two 10X10 units instead. Furthermore they only had one available 10X10 and would then give us two 5X10s to add up to 10X20. Whaaaaaaaaaat??? Oh. And the elevator was broken so we would be on the ground floor but all the units were in different places. No discounts or refunds were offered and we were told we could instead just go to a different location ...not a helpful solution as we chose this location for a reason. I would like to commend Joe because he was very very kind and did everything he could to help us. He even gave us the locks for the units since we thought we would only need one lock rather than three! But this certainly didn't make up for all the problems. We were very appreciative of what he did for us. We were just very frustrated with the situation. He showed us how many units are delinquent and need to go to auction and that this accounted for many of their unusable 10X10 units. There were a LOT of deliquent units. But then again, we'd reserved a 10X20....which didn't exist there?!? Massive headache.

Everybody at U-haul that helped me is amazi. Had a death in my family and the manager. I can't remember her Name was so caring. She gave me a hug and just she made me feel so welcome to be there. She is the best i did have a rental truck that the person that was driving, told the front desk when I first picked app the track that it sounded like the belt was going to be breaking. It was real loud He said, don't worry about it well. 2 days later, the belt broke, was stuck with out truck for 2 days another problem with the truck the cell phone outlets were broken so I could not charge my cell phone at all but other than that, everything was great. I told the guy that was driving you check everything before you get in the truck, but it's okay, thinks happen. I thank you, u haul for everything that you helped me with this last week. It's been very hard week for me. Losing a son, but thank you. God bless you all.

Just had a family member move up here with way more stuff than I thought the location was so accommodating with the moving truck and the storage units. They were so friendly and if they didn’t know the answer to a question they found out and came back to me. The facility is actually one of the best I have seen with the RV parking and the ability to have a large moving company park on property. Staff and management were amazing.

I had a little trouble scanning, checking in and out. But after I had been there a couole hours, I was able to successfully sign out of my two storage units. I was very grateful you assigned 0373 to me when 0385 was not big enough. Thank you.

Joe tried helping me when I dropped my truck off, stating that there was an issue and he would put my contract on hold. He said his GM wasn't there and things happen. When I woke up the next day to figure issue out, found that card had already been charged making efforts of trying to fix issue feel in vein. Extremely frustrated with overall experience on top of moving stress that goes with renting the truck. I feel liberties were taken from me not allowing me to actually figure issue out, like if I had gotten issues figured, then my card is already charged and Im not in a position of having extra funds at the moment.

I was told there would be a car hauler trailer in Kelso, where my hotel reservation was at. Then the day before I got a call from U Haul telling me I would need to pick it up in Vancouver... I could not cancel my hotel reservation... it too me an extra hour round trip to retrieve the trailer

My experience with UHaul was excellent. From ordering and picking up the box, to drop off, storage delivery to my new town, drop off at my new house and pickup. At every turn UHaul staff was friendly and helpful. Once I dropped my box at the Vancouver, WA storage location, I didn't worry about my things at all. Once I bought a house in my new town, I called UHaul and set up shipment. I was notified along the way and once it arrived in Boise. I went into the storage location to schedule drop off and pick up. I will definitely recommend UHaul/Ubox to all my friends and family. An excellent experience every step of the way. Thank you!

Recently I rented a U-Haul from the fourth plain Location and forgot my phone at home. I was not able to document the miles and the gage for the gas BIG MISTAKE the miles that I wrote down was different from what was written on the contract so was the amount of gas that was in the truck I do plan on disputing this as I did not go travel tje miles that was indicated.

The facility was clean, and I have no concerns with the actual storing of my stuff. My biggest concerns was dealing with the staff and policies. When I was trying to move out, I was staging my items in the big bay with my truck parked outside. The early shift staff said it was fine and actually helped when one of the bay doors was inoperable. The manager came out about an hour later and told me that I couldn't use that bay, that I had to use a different and much less convenient way to load my stuff. I finished a first load and came back several hours later and found other people using that same bay in the same manner and the other staff didn't say a thing, and were in fact helpful to them. I had great revisited with all of the UHaul staff except the manager. She always seemed to be in a bad mood or something, just not as friendly as the other staff. Unfortunately, that experience with one person is the thing I remember most, and the reason for the poor review.

I originally reserved a truck at the Andresen location, when I arrived they stated the truck they had available wasn't in the condition to utilize for the distance of the move. I had to then go to another location to get a truck that would meet our needs, when I arrived they stated that we would need to pay again and continued to argue with me (Isaac) and the manager I do not recall her name also was condescending in the way she spoke to me. They were not about resolve or finding a solution rather focusing on being right. When I agreed to pay again the system alerted them I had already paid at the other location.

The entire UBox experience was excellent. Both local and national customer service was friendly and efficient. My only complaint (and it also exists with traditional truck rental from UHaul) is their receipts. They are difficult to understand and make it hard to see what each charge is from. The final total is obvious, but the charges leading up to the total could be better explained.

Both the app and web page constantly lacked access to ACTUAL information once the uboxes had been transported to NY, but not yet delivered! No way to examine anything related to current, just the WA, end. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND UNACCEPTABLE.

When a customer is in front of you, finish helping them before turning to help another coworker, or at least communicate with who is in front of you. Say something like "can you give me a minute while I help?" or something to acknowledge the person in front of you who has followed the reservation process. This comment has nothing to do with this location, but I find it interesting I was charged an additional $33.00 because I went over the mileage limit, but it's okay with your company that people need to return the equipment filled with gas filled to a certain place on the gauge when you can't know how much to fill to get there. In this case it was to be brought back at 3/4 tank. I FILLED the tank, costing me well above the $30 additional you charged me for going 33 miles over the allot mileage. Seems like you all make out either way! Believe me, I've already started telling people I know about this and will continue to.

There needs to be an option for customers who, rarely I understand, make a decision to change plans and try to return the equipment to the location they picked it up. We were told we couldn’t return it here, and made to take it somewhere else.

The girl who checked me out tried to charge me $33 for not filling the truck up with gas, when the fuel gauge clearly showed that I had done that immediately before returning the truck. Either she was too stupid to read 1/4 tank on a fuel gauge, or she was just being a bitch and thought it was funny to fuck with me. I even went back out to the truck to double check it, and sure enough it read EXACTLY 1/4 tank, which is where it was supposed to be. I'll make sure to tell people not to go to this location.

The senior employee Nikia is an amazing women, amazing customer service, extremely helpful from start to finish with each interaction, and deserves nothing but compliments. Amazing conflict resolution skills and ability to diffuse a situation quickly and timely. Kayla was rude, ill tempered and has zero customer service skills. She was going to forward me to management or someone higher as asked and when asked for the name proceeded to monopolize the conversation and tell me she could not give me the name of the manager or senior employee who she was going to forward me to because it was against ccompany policies. When told that I would like to finish my sentences before she continues to cut me off and then lie about company policies she puts the phone down off the receiver and leisurely gets the senior employee without stating that she was going to be putting the receiver down and grabbing said manager or senior employee who’s name she refused to give me but was going to be putting on the phone. I would not recommend this branch to anyone else if it was not for Nikia’s empathy and prompt resolution of the situation that I called for. I would also make people aware of Kayla before recommending and sharing my ongoing issue with her.

The General Manager is very unprofessional, she talks down to employees and Customers. No one really knows what is going on or how things work. The fast that access clicker or 24hr access to my trailer is an additional cost not disclosed in the regular price is again unprofessional. If your locations wasn’t so convenient I would have walked out and went someone else. This was my 4th attempt to rent a spot. All other times they didn’t know how to do it at all.

I gave it a 5 star rating even tho I gave a bad mark on the access hours being convenient. I think I should be able to access my storage unit whenever I want or can. I work nights and that means I get my stuff done when everyone else is sleeping. That being said I felt it shouldn't take away from everything else at this location and the hard work everyone does there. Its a great facility, management has worked with me when i needed a little help by going above and beyond and I give it 5 stars!

The design of that facility is horrible for longer vehicles. Specifically, there is no way that if 40 foot trailer could possibly fit into an out of space rv052. I took my boat in there today to park it, and all it took was one look. I have to cancel my reservation , hope I get my money back, and go back to Dwyer Creek boat and RV storage in campus

Charged me $50 for a 5-minute job to open my lock. Way too expensive monthly costs. Would never recommend to friends. My storage was empty for a week. In my hurry, I would have hoped UHual would ask if I was still using it or send an email notifying me of the upcoming bill. I hope I get a refund because they auto charged me for full month again.

My first reservation and storage unit somehow got canceled and then they rented my unit to somebody else. I needed an outdoor unit and I was supposed to get a 10x15 outdoor unit. The day I showed up to move in with the trailer full of stuff after a 20 hour drive I found out my unit was sold. Then a week later I got an indoor unit same size. And then there was issues with my unit after I paid for it get the card to swipe in. Somebody somehow right after I moved in Moved me right back out the next day. So pretty much the same issue happened two times in a row at the same location. I understand that sometimes things just happen but it's strange how it happened to me two times. But still a very clean place I really like to back in garage with the garage door to help keep the rain and wind out while you're offloading your vehicle into the easy access elevators.
