great place to rent a uhaul, always a good place to grab a truck or trailer.
COLTON HHave the attendants working there check to make sure the extra items that I rented are inside the truck. I rented a refrigerator dolly and (24) moving blankets asked the driver when he brought the truck around if everything was inside, he told me Good to go ! When I got home later nothing was inside the truck, tried calling the store back took over (1/2) hour just to get through, very disappointed.

PATRICK TIt took three tries to find a 6x12 enclosed trailer that didn’t have either a mechanical issue, (first trailer, the door would only open halfway up), or an electrical issue, (second trailer, the brake lights didn’t function), before I got off the lot. Next issue I had was when I stopped for a break and to check on the trailer, I found out that the electrical hitch wiring connectors were apparently to loose. Both connectors had been dragging along the road for some time and were ruined. I had to use my own tools and electrical splice connectors to temporarily repair the broken connection before I could continue on my journey. The bad part was that Roadside Assistance would not help me because my vehicles connector was damaged. So I was on my knees, in a parking lot repairing this. These things happen, I’m not mad at the employee whom hooked up the trailer, I’m really frustrated that Roadside Assistance wouldn’t help me. I will continue to rent trailers from this location for two reasons, first it’s the only local location with trailers. Second, the employees at this location are great, they immediately replaced my vehicles trailer hitch wiring harness and gave me a credit for one of the days rental for my two day trailer rental. In the end it all worked out.

Eric STransmission on the truck was in dire need of replacement. It squealed constantly. The truck made a lowed buzzing sound like you would hear from an alert monitor when the AC was turned on and traveling at 55 mph. The truck had numerous holes in the roof leading to water damage on much of my belongings. This truck would be fine for a move within the same city or for 20-30 miles but not across states. It should never have been given to me.
Paul HOur install was done incorrectly at the pick up location and they had to fix it upon return because it was causing a car turn signal malfunction that we did not feel comfortable having our teenage daughter driver in that condition.
JOHN LAlways a good experience at this location, and we been using this location off and on for over our 42 years of marriage.
Matt MThe employee who handled our pickup/drop off was great - but I do not think anyone checked out equipment in upon return We returned our equipment at 4:30 PM on Monday May 5th and at 6:45 PM I received an email stating that we had not returned our equipment and they had been attempting to reach us- both were false because our equipment HAD been returned, and neither one of us have received a phone call or an email. I replied to the message, letting them know that our equipment was in fact, returned, The following morning I received my receipt.

NICHOLAS PThe staff was friendly and helpful but the truck was blocked in so I couldn’t find it and the items I ordered with it weren’t in the truck so they had to go get them. They were busy with multiple customers in the store. It added to the amount of time it took to get the truck and meet up with the movers I hired to load the truck and it caused a confusion and longer than the 4 hours I hired them for. I’d definitely recommend showing up really early to pick up the truck if you have to be somewhere at a certain time with it.

Instead we were called the day before and had to travel 30 minutes to get a truck , and we had to take a 15 foot truck. This cost us more in gas and caused some nervousness with a driver that never drove a large truck before.

Other than that, the truck ran great and customer service was quick and professional, I have no other complaints and overall this was one of the best truck rental processes I have experienced!

Mark GThe trailer had gravel in it that I needed to clear out. The employee did not explain anything with the contract. Did not let me come back to inspect the trailer. Only spot to return the trailer was on a hill facing down hill which made remove the trailer on my own very difficult considering the trailer does not have a jack. When removed from the hitch it would begin to roll down hill into my bumper scratching it. I had to find scraps of wood by the tree line to chalk the wheels because nothing was around to do so. Worst experience with this company I've ever had. Definitely won't be returning.

He did a very good and efficient job of getting my installation taken care of. I was given a recommendation by a friend to go to this site and now will continue to reccomend the guys from here in the future.

Dallas GTruck was on less than 1/4 fuel when I got it. My paper said it was 1/4. It was in fact not 1/4. Returned truck with same amount of fuel and was charged $70 extra dollars! Guy that checked my reservation in just gave me the keys and pointed at the truck and said you are good to go. No checking the gauge for accuracy or pointing out prior damage to the truck before I hit the road. Guess I should’ve checked the gauge before I left. Had a 15 minute ride to where I needed to go and already had to put gas in it almost immediately after I left. Ridiculous to say the least.

I should get the 25 dollars that is says you guys charge to sweep out the back . Also , there was a knife in the cargo bay, so it was apparent not a soul swept it out . I just don’t understand why you guys wouldn’t clean and regularly maintain the equipment . I’m sure nobody will see this , so that’s now 4 minutes of my life I’ll never get back .

NED DAfter I returned the truck, I was waiting inside for my ride to pick me up. The attendants working inside were bantering back and forth with less than desirable language. Luckily no other customers were in the store at the time. You may want to gently nudge them to tone it down a bit. I am not sensitive to that kind of language but many people are.

Paul SMany of my items had water damage (and mildew) and bits of glass on them from the unit above mine. When this was brought to the attention of staff at the time, they just offered me a dust pan. Many items were discovered to be covered in mouse droppings. Loading dock was often inaccessible due to staff/customers parking in front of it. Screen on check in/out box has been broken for several years. Price has increased continuously, while the offerings have gotten worse.

There was barely room to drive the car past the office to the building. We had difficulty entering the storage unit due to the two step process. I was told to enter my unique code but was not told that I would have to do it twice and the sequence of using the two keypads. We also found that the sliding doors would not open and we could only use the manual doorway. April 28, 2024-4:00pm - Our second move day went much smoother. The entrance was clear, the sliding doors opened, and we now knew how to use the keypads. The interior of the building and unit was clean. The loading dock and carts were accessible.

Meaning rotten and rats can move from one unit to another. You can smell the malt balls odor throughout the storage facility. The facility looks clean and orderly. Please request and ask to see these units. To see my points. I can’t recommend this facility to anybody. They certainly have a rat problem at this location. This is the honest God ‘TRUTH’.

There were several locations in the unit with mouse droppings. I loaded my belongings on one side of the unit and will see if someone can clean the remaining droppings. Or I may do it myself. I know many storage units have mice, but at least TRY to make it look like you don't. . The locks don't work well on the units either. I have to go back up to have them drill a bigger hole so the lock actually works. The unit should have been cleaned and inspected before I checked in. I wish I could say I'd recommend it, but I can't right now. Fortunately, I will only need it for a few months. If this were going to be a longer term rental, I think I'd look elsewhere.

We had a truck full of furniture that would have been too tall to fit in this unit and also a fridge. I was never told the type of storage I was offered was short. So only a small load of stuff was brought there. I had to rent another place Saturday from A normal style storage unit. The uhaul storage was free to us however the unplanned mileage put on the uhaul truck cost me extra money. I will be contacting uhaul about this because not only did I have to rent a unit elsewhere I now put an additional 20 miles on the truck. And ontop of that I'm going to have to pickup everything I did put at the uhaul facility another day.

Cara T | Online Move InI made several trips to move out. Once, the sliding doors weren't opened. This was around noon, so it wasn't because it was off hours. This made it very difficult to move out using the door, which is down a narrow hallway. I called to let them know it was locked and waited on hold for over 15 minutes. Apparently, you get kicked over to a hotline when you call. She was no help, said to just go inside and tell them. I said I will not, that nobody wears masks that work there, even though it's required by our Governor to wear them in businesses. Once, I came a little after 7pm, and access to the storage units were closed. Online and on the sign, it is posted that OFFICE hours close at 7pm, however it states that access to storage units were to be until 10pm. Wasted trip all the way down there. Because of that, I had to scramble to move out the day of. There is always junk in the parking lot, at least by the loading dock where I frequented. Because I made so many trips every day to my unit, I noticed some used band-aids a little further down in the hallway. They were there for days and to my last day, were still there. Everything is so dark and dingy inside, also. Rent kept going up. Once, I received a notice that they were painting, so they needed to raise the rent to keep it maintained. When they painted it looked fresh and new. However, it was not maintained. I noticed when I was moving out, that several holes were patched all around, but never painted over. So, all you see are all these spackled holes everywhere. Lastly, as I mentioned, nobody there wears masks. It took me over a week, making a total of 30 trips to move everything and so I saw several times throughout the week of employees talking close to customers with no mask on. Whether it be showing a customer a new unit inside, behind the the counter at service, or them showing or receiving storage trucks from customers, they never wore a mask. I saw all customers wear them. There is even a sign in their window to please wear one upon entry. I understand it's inconvenient, I know, I moved wearing one the whole time. Some days were very hot, and yet I kept it on for respect of others.
ARAM D | Overall ExperienceThe unit was clean, but I was extremely disappointed to find that my large storage unit was located on the 2nd floor with the only access to the unit was to carry large, heavy items up steps. There should be ramp access. The unit door height is also very low which made getting oversized items extremely difficult to get into the unit.
