I would like to thank Matt King for all of his help, it has always been a delight when he happens to be there when we rent. He makes the rental agreement time as well as check-in process go smoothly. While I was there, I was able to observe that other staff was having a problem and he did not hesitate to offer his help as well as fix their problem. He is a total asset to your company. Recently we have needed uhaul more than ever with so many changes in moving my sister and my son's belongings to and from various locations. It is unfortunate that the other locations could not be as helpful as this one is. Thanks again Mr. King for all of your help. I didnt check the truck out, my husband drove it. When he got to the house and open the back it was really dirty, muddy every where. My son sweep it. But we let them know, another worker came over and said something it, and said that the truck shouldnt went out looking like that. Apparently somebody didnt check it out. I think that we shouldve gotten something off of my bill. The person that parks the vehicle should check the trucks first before they give them out.

I rented the 9 ft cargo van on a Sunday evening for a 24-hr period. Just needed to take home a purchase from a nearby mattress store and I saved over $100 by using this U-haul rental instead of the store's delivery option. I have no complaints about the location or staff, but I will NEVER rent with Uhaul again. The trailor i rented had black residue on the floor that transferred to my belongings. Vn worse, the trailor was not at all weatherproof and rainwater ruined all of my belongings. I purchased the expensive $70 insurance, but my claim was immediately denied because it doesnt cover rain damage. I'm using Penske from now on.

The call-center messed up my entire order. They sent me to route 51 and said I could pick up a u-haul at 7 am when the store was not open and did not place a 24 hour pick up. We showed up at 7 am and the building sign stated that it would open at 9 am. We called the helpline which did not help at this point I thought I would NEVER use u-haul again. Then I meet Josh and he stopped what he was doing to get us on the road before 9 am. He was professional and knew what he was doing. He told us how to return it after 5 pm, however with all the miss information the call center gave us I wanted to deal with Josh to return the van. With hurrying through the move, Josh was there when we returned the van. Again Josh did a wonderful job of checking the van over and getting us on our way again. Without Josh the move would have not been completed on time. Thank you, Josh and the route 51 u-haul center.

The ball hitch was so rusty that when I was pulling my trailer (the reason I rented the truck) my camper fell off on a highway. The ball rusted enough that it didn’t grab the equipment and my ten thousand dollar camper was damaged. Then rentwest the insurance company stayed the insurance I bought and was told would be covered, was not. You need covers for the ball hitches to avoid the rust! I’ll never rent a uhaul again. And I will also be sharing my experience on social media.

I did not like the fact that the employee had to use their personal cell phone to take a picture of my drivers license (front and back ). I asked why it wasn’t a business phone and he said they loose battery life too quickly. I thought this was odd. Didn’t like this at all!!!!!

The tiny older mustached gentleman who was helping me with my trailer was borderline incompetent and so small and weak that he couldn't even lift the trailer to put it on my car. I ended up putting the trailer on myself while the miniature man went to seek help from a more useful employee. It also took him about 6 minutes to locate my name on his little screen pad so its not just his physical stature that seems to be lacking. If you are going to hire a 5 foot tall man to work for you, you shouldn't give him a job where he has to lift trailers by himself.

Person tried to charge my card for the wrong $300!!! They were rude because I didn't pull into the "return lane" which wasnt labeled so I wasn't aware existed. There was a nicer way to ask me to pull the truck around, I would have gladly done so.

The overall experience was not bad, but your people switched trucks on me. I left with a different truck that was listed on the original paperwork, so when I brought the truck back it took over half an hour to straighten out the total charges.
