The staff at the Dix Avenue location was fabulous... even though I bothered them three times with questions! Truck was clean, handled pretty well even at highway speeds/loaded. Wish it had cruise control. One item of note is that the rear driver's side brake and signal light were barely lit. Passenger side and front all fine. Good experience overall and I would / will definitely rent U-Haul again. Cheers!
PETER AI was charged an extra day when I dropped off the unit on the day indicated on my reservation. There was no specified drop off time on the reservation so I assume anytime that day would be fine. The reservation system is generally unclear on what the specific charges would be.
Brendan WI showed up to pick up car trailer and the trailer you had was broken. So I was sent to another location 5 miles away and that was a horrible experience as far as customer service. Thank you. Will not be using U haul in the future.

LOUIS CU-Haul had the trailer I needed on hand and ready to go. Both the trailer and the facility itself were very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly during the rental and return process. Price was very reasonable.

Req'd hammer & screwdriver to chip out to align w/wheel. Tiedown strap was cut so it was too short to reach rachet. Utility trailer in May had tiedown D rings jammed below floor ridge. Req'd pry bar(lug wrench) to pry loose to be able to hook tiedown straps. Informed Uhaul.

PAUL EI rated the equipment poorly because there was no windshield wiper fluid. It was a day with mixed precipitation and plenty of stuff flying onto the windshield, but I couldn't do a thing about it. It wasn't dangerous, but it was frustrating.

CHRISTINA FLabel gas type on vehicle, very simple to keep people from putting wrong fuel type in. Not a big issue at all but was surprised no label on vehicle at all on fuel type, called office to be sure. Had a very good experience renting vehicle, it was ready and warmed up when I picked it up. Quick check in and return, great job by employees! Good job U-HAUL!

PETER BAttendant at pick up location told me my rental would be pro-rated if I returned it before the due date. Attendant at drop off location told me that was not a thing Uhaul does. Pick up location also indicated the gas tank was full when it was actually at 3/4. When confronted with a picture she told me everything had to be done on my end via the website, which I did. Still, at drop off location I was initially going to be charged for 1/4 tank until arguing my case with picture evidence. Both attendants were courteous enough but someone doesn't understand their job.
David EWhen I returned the truck, it took without exaggeration, 20 minutes for the employee to finalize the 'return' in the computer and provide me with a receipt. She was the only employee on-site and it seemed as if she had never performed this task before. It was extremely frustrating at the end of an already very long, cold day.

Annemarie S | First ImpressionsI was disappointed in the process of receiving the containers initially. I had originally reserved these 10/7 to be dropped off 11/22 and picked up 11/25. I received phone call 11/21 at 4pm that they would not be delivering them. I lived in an apartment I had to make arrangements prior with the landlord to have them on the property and my lease was up 11/30. They said they would be delivered 11/24 first thing in the morning, unfortunate as I had arranged help and took time off work that weekend. On 11/24 I received a call at 8:24am from a woman named Dominique. She said that the pods would be delivered between 8-4:30. I asked for a more specific time frame as I had only one day to pack the containers now, had to rearrange all my help, and I was told I would be the first delivery this day. She said she could not do this. My family member went to the local uhaul location to ask for help/compensation since I was supposed to receive them 2 days prior and they would not provide any delivery time frame. I stayed at the property awaiting the delivery. While my family member was there, that locations member was extremely kind and helpful. I then received a nasty phone call from Dominique claiming that my family was cursing out the store manager at that location and I was “more than welcome to cancel for a full refund.” I was on the phone with my family member at this time as well, there was no cursing. I asked Dominque to provide a timeframe once again, she continued to say “8-4:30”. It was about noon at this point so I told her that timeframe was irrelevant. Suddenly Dominque was able to give me a 30 minute timeframe, delivery drivers number, and tracking of the trucks route. The delivery driver was phenomenal, pick up went well. Delivery to final destination went well. A phone call was placed to speak to Dominique’s manager 11/25. We were told Alyssa would reach out within 72 hours. Never heard from them again.

Note - the woman who was supporting that day was excellent. great customer service and the type of helpful attitude and behavior that you want to recognize.

Moved out recently and I had paid a full month and did not receive the remainder of the month back prorated which is insane with what you pay for these units. Mary M | Overall ExperienceOverall facility was well lit, but the sensor lights in the aisle with our unit were out, so it was a bit dark to see. The light did not work for the duration of our rental; the person who showed me the unit noticed when it was rented, but for the month we were there it was never fixed. the door was very hard to shut and lock. I have rented from you before with no issue. The employee had to try a few times himself to shut it. Inside the unit the wall had several very long screw points sticking into the unit, so you could not put boxes of clothing close to the walls or risk puncturing the boxes and damaging items. Also, it was very easy to bump into them and cut yourself. Building and unit were very clean and safe, but the other unit I had was much better.
holly d | Overall ExperienceWe reserved a 25 ft truck for a 9 am pickup on 9/1. When we got there, there was no truck available. We were told to come back at noon, which we did, and there was only a 15 ft truck available. We had carefully laid out plans, had hired extra help, and ended up working and paying overtime on the Friday before a holiday weekend. Overall, other than the customer service rep being very nice, this was a terrible experience. We also had to rent another truck for Wednesday 9/6, which will cost us even more money.

Inside storage was only available until 4pm so we had to use a 10x10 located outside and it rained most of the time we were unloading. Glen was very helpful but only could do what he could do. Was not happy with this but everything else was okay.
