STEVEN IThey lied about the starting gas mileage. I took a picture before we began and I made sure to restore it afterwards and they added extra fees. I didn't get a receipt on what those fees were for and the car was heavily fragranced and triggered my asthma and allergies the entire time. I also showed up before the close of business and nobody was there to help me. The app glitched multiple times. Unacceptable, I will never rent from this company again!

JOHN MRented several times from U-Haul, including U-Boxes, car carriers, and larger trucks. Every time has been a good experience, regardless of the location or the people at U-Haul that try their best to accommodate the customer.
CLINTON JI’ve been to many locations (Sanford, ME | Augusta, ME | Hyannis, MA | Orlando, FL | Sacramento, CA | Herriman, UT) This was the cleanest, most well organized. I have ordered boxes for pick up in other locations; this was the first to have to order ready for me as most others will put the boxes together when you go to pick up. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever experienced. I was acknowledged upon entry at this facility and asked 1000 what else they could do for me. They were all amazing! Every single one of them! I am blown away and never take the time to leave feedback but this was such an awesome experience that I am really compelled. This was the Disney world of uhauls. Thank you!
LINDSEY LWhile the fuel gauge said it was on Full, I only drove 6 miles and filling it up before return required 7.5 gallons. I did not let the truck idle either. This would either mean that the truck got less than a mile a gallon, or it wasn’t truly full when I received it. I believe it was the latter. The gauge may have been on F, but that tank definitely wasn’t full.

KYLE MI’ve moved several times over the last 20 years in excess of 1,000 miles. I normally buya truck or rent the uhaul truck. After comparing the rental costs, time frame for the move and the cost of fuel, I decided to try the Ubox. It was probably the best moving experience I’ve ever had. The boxes were dropped off on time for filling, picked up on time and then delivered on time for emptying. There was good notification from uhaul the entire time, as well as good communication from the drivers. The amount paid was very close to the cost of renting a truck and driving myself, without the hassle of having to unload and get the truck back on time to avoid an additional fee. There were no unexpected fees either. I will, most likely, use the Ubox service for any future moves.

DEANN AThis review is not about the location, but the process to get checked in through the app. Since the beginning where I first made the reservation all the way to the very end where I got the keys the process was horrible. If you can I recommend you to check all the phone calls and virtual chats done with my cellphone or reservation number so that you clearly understand what I mean, horrible. Again not this location people at this location were actually really nice, but the whole app process sucks

VALORIE BI am worried about the ice; the contractors built a building that has water dripping across the walkways, creating a hazardous situation. Onsite staff ARE addressing it, but I feel whoever built this could have done a bit better on safety!

ROBERT H | Overall ExperienceThe guy I dropped the trailer off with called me a liar and a thief because the trailer didn't come with a connector for the lights because my car didn't need one. He thought I had stolen the connector and when I said it didn't come with one he said that's impossible. Only got him to shut up when I showed him my side of the connection which he saw me unhook originally. If anyone else needs a trailer ask for someone else besides Javier. You'll probably have a better experience but I'm not going to this location while he is there.

Set JWe had a bunch of problems with different trailers either breaking or not being safe to drive. The girls who were helping us were super amazing! They were able to change up our trailers as we had problems after just leaving the lot, or we're able to guide us to the right place with getting one of the trailers we had towed back to the location. Each trailer had it's own problems, so hopefully the safety checks done in the future can encompass more of the under carriage type of inspection so a gentle speed up to 35mph doesn't suddenly cause an axel to shift or for the trailers to not bounce around as you're going about that same speed.

ALDO MIt was very clean. Our unit was on the ground floor so it was great for us. Three times in a month I went in the elevator was down. For people who have units on the upper floors that would have been a disaster for me.

Chad M | Online Move InThe Elevator was not working. We were not advised about this ahead of time when renting a unit on the 2nd floor. We had to complete our move in by carrying all our large furniture and boxes up the stairs to the second floor. What was supposed to be an easy move in using the rolling carts and elevator turned into a nightmare. Staff couldn’t even provide an estimate of when the elevator would be fixed. We unfortunately were in a position where we had to move our belongings into the unit no matter what.

STEVEN RThe truck was great and returning it was very easy. I used the mobile check-in, which I thought would be easier than a traditional check-in. It was not. Everything you do on the mobile check in needs to be verified remotely by a live agent, so it takes just as much if not more time. Until they can make that process easier I would recommend just checking in with them in-person, but everything after that was very smooth and Kevin, who checked our truck at return, was very friendly and helpful.

JOHN PI made a reservation 3 months in advance and then a few days before my move, they said they didn’t have any trucks. They were unapologetic and treated it like it was my fault. When I stated that I had made the reset so far in advance she simply stated that it didn’t matter. Why even do reservations in the first place if you’re just going to give them out first come first serve!? They did nothing to compensate for the problem and I had to pay more for a bigger truck even though it was their fault. Things kept getting changed and inaccurate information was being given that constantly made me change my plans. This was not the headache I needed right in the middle of a massive move. Worst moving experience ever.
Marcus VI made arrangements for the boxes to arrive on Tuesday and they didn’t arrive until Friday costing me another months rent.
Linzy CI was guaranteed a 20ft after already being switch to a 20ft instead of a 15. Then as we got there they informed us they didn't have a 20ft it was reserved. I had reserved my truck two weeks prior. I then got stuck driving a 26ft van that I didn't need the space and it cost more. I will not rent here again. No

Joe S | Overall ExperienceYes, the Equipment was clean. Yes, it was well-maintained for the most part. However, there were cracks in the sides of the box, evident on the photos and in person. Maybe those were just cracks in the paint or wrap of the box; I don't know. They did not affect the moving ability, so I wasn't worried. But as I drove behind the truck across town, I could see that the rear wheels did not track or align with the front wheels, so there was probably an alignment issue. It was a great truck to use in town, which we did. But I would not have wanted to take that particular vehicle cross country.

The kind young lady had to let me in using her access and I was told that U-Haul was still getting set up ... and once the set up was finished, U-Haul would inform me my self access code would work ... It never happened ... I was unable to use my unit at all ... not able to store anything in my unit ... to this day.

I had just open this I couldn’t remember the due date I have short term memory loss I was also moving at the time. So I got a late fee. Staff is friendly, smile and use manners but they don’t help their customers. I felt Brandy was antagonistic during our interactions using micro aggression when she spoke with me. I didn’t feel like it was worth anymore time or money. Never even used the unit.
