Kid with the long hair is very rude

LANE PThe can had dog hair on both seats and smelled like cigarettes and pot. Only 1 person working and he was struggling to keep up with the amount of people who wanted to pick up and return equipment. Employee was great and tried very hard to get everyone in and out in a timely manner, but he could have used 1 or 3 more people

Renate CWhen the reservation was made I gave my credit card info. When my grandson went to pick it up they had failed to run the card through and he had to use his own card. Will not use U-Haul again.

ROGER TEverything was good until return of the equipment. Returned the equipment after hours and missed the portion to check it in I was charged $20 which I felt not right.No one even mentioned and when I tried to explain the manager said it is customer responsibility. Get it but it would be fair for the company to let the customer know because chances of missing to read the contract are high after getting the equipment.Mostly our customer is making sure the equipment is not damaged and returning it on time.After this I don’t think I would use U-Haul again.

CHRISTINE FWhen I first arrived to drop off the trailer mid-morning, it appeared there was a line of trucks being returned but no staff. I parked behind the trucks but feared I was blocking other customers in the store. I walked in the store. There were five customers sitting there and no staff. The woman in the top of the line told me she had been waiting 25 minutes. The others told me to get comfortable and one moved over to make space on a stack of cardboard boxes for me to sit. I decided to leave and return later. That afternoon I pulled up to return the trailer. One staff met me immediately and said I can just stay in the car and he just needed to finish up with another customer. Within a minute he interviewed me, thanked me for returning the trailer a day early and told me that my bill would be adjusted, and told me I was all checked in and I could go!
RENEE JThanks so much to the U-Haul Rep onsite. He was the only person on staff at 10:00 am on Saturday (10/18) and with 6 customers in line. Each person, including myself, spent at least an hour waiting to get assistance. This Rep did a fantastic job which should not go unrecognized!! With that, I would highly recommend this location's local management reassess their staffing for weekends. It's hard to believe that being this understaffed would not have an impact on business over time.

BENJAMIN Mpreviously rented a small box truck and was disappointed in the truck not the service (no cruise control, no get up go, sloppy front suspension). Rented a cargo van this time and could not be more impressed. Mopar powered van had plenty of oomph, cruise with forward vehicle recognition, tunes, a/c and drove & tracked like a dream. Staff on duty at pickup were excellent and check-in dude was even better (no offense intended, early morning guy😁). Definitely recommend!

EASOW TThe staff was extremely busy, yet maintained patience and professionalism. Educated me on the rental, making sure everything was working and safe. Very thorough and kind. The drop off was totally opposite.
LAURA TThe first trailer I was given leaked during rain. The second trailer I was given, which I used, the floor seemed very unstable and had holes for which I taped to keep water out.

STEVIE PI rented a cargo van. It was brand new and ran well. The rental proceedure was simple and well done. I have rented from UHaul before with similar results and wont hesitate to do so again.

GLENN WThe staff member in Rochester whom I picked up the u-haul truck from was wonderful to work with, as was the staff member I dropped the truck off to in Winona. My only regret is that my pick up time was greatly delayed due to the U-haul location being severely short-handed that morning (my pick up time was schedule for 9 am and I didn’t get helped until close to 10:30 am).
KRISTIN SEveryone on the team was working well. My complaints pertain to false advertising. It said "19.99" in town. I ended up paying $60.
Zack MWhen I went to empty out my storage unit, I had mouse droppings and pretzels (not from me) all over my stuff. I showed the worker there and he said there should have been a mouse trap in my unit but there clearly wasn’t. I haven’t unpacked my stuff yet to see if there is further damage but now I get to spend several more hours cleaning all my property of mice contamination. Not happy about that. Plus the lady I spoke to when ordering the unit explained a completely different unit style and location. She said ground floor and I was not on ground floor, she said the unit had a loft and it did not. Honestly I’m not even sure she knew what she was talking about. Also The latch needs to be oiled. It’s almost finger breaking to unlatch the unit door.

Albert V | Online Move InThe facility was well maintained and the staff are great, but there were three reason I gave below average score; 1. Not having 24 hr access or at least til 9pm. 2. The door closest to my unit that was supposed to be unlocked during business hours never was. I’m a disabled veteran with mobility issues and had to walked further because the door was never unlocked. 3. My storage fee went up twice. It was only a small amount each time but the first time was after only a few months into moving in.
