Both father and son at the U-Haul location in St. Joseph have gone above and beyond my approval of excellence in my U-Haul transactions in this case. Highly recommend anyone that needs help to contact these gentlemen. The son was exceptionally considerate of my needy granddaughter that wanted everything! KATHY D | First ImpressionsThe blond male worker who initially helped us was attentive but didn’t allow us to connect the dolly we paid for until we were loaded and when we came back after loaded we had a younger black haired gentleman who no matter how many time we stayed and showed proof we purchased the trailer earlier that morning wouldn’t believe we’d already paid and when he finally believed us he hooked the trailer to the u-haul and left. Didn’t help load the car or ensure the equipment wouldn’t fall apart going down the road as the ramp was improperly attached to the dolly and fell off as we were pulling out of the u-haul parking lot. They notified us at 6 am the next morning 11 hours and 740 miles away at which point we had vehicle problems and couldn’t unload the dolly luckily a regional manager was in the same town we were and put on our account that the ramps fell off in st.joe and allowed us to return the dolly early as we were unable to reload it. Although it was annotated in our profile and was allowed by the regional manager sandy from cedar street Sinclair wouldn’t allow us to return it and even left early forcing us to just drop the trailer with the approval of the regional manager over the phone
Payton TThe location had set me up with the wrong truck, which caused a major inconvenience at the drop off location. I had to contact customer service due to them charging me on things that were already covered.
CURTIS RStaff was friendly and helpful. I had rented a trailer for an extended time. Do to wildfires I had to cancel the trip in which I was going to use the trailer. The Manager was very helpful in getting the trailer checked in and verifying that I wasn't charged for the extra days that I could not use the trailer. Excellent service.

REALLY? I RETURN IT A DAY EARLY, AND BLEW OUT THE BACK OF THE TRAILER AND EVERYTHING AND GET ATTITUDE ON WHERE ITS DROPPED OFF AT? IF YOU DO NOT WANT TRAILERS DROPPED OFF THERE THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR SIGNS. I WILL BUY A TRAILER AND IF I NEED A TRUCK FROM NOW ON, I CAN ALWAYS GO TO BUDGET OR PENSKE.
TEDDY HI ordered a dolly and did t get the dolly but you charged me for it. I would like a refund for the dolly.
DEVON FI had a horrible experience at U-Haul. The truck was dirty inside. The reservation had a return location for a one way return that was out of business. Location that was out of business was in a very dangerous neighborhood. Spent over 2 hours on phone trying to get a new location to drop truck off. Was told to keep truck overnight and the place I moved to does not allow trucks to park. I want my full refund. Also called the location that I finally dropped off U-Haul didn’t even check the truck in. I called them 2 days later after dropping off and they had not checked truck in. Location was called Lynn’s automotive U-Haul. Spoke to lady at the drop off location and said they hadn’t checked truck in yet this was 2 days after I dropped truck off. I am requesting a full refund on my rental for the 20 foot u haul. I have not heard anything back, I will definitely call my credit card and dispute this charge.

I had set up 24/7 truck share/mobile pickup as I wanted to start early on Sunday, but on arrival the app informed me that the equipment hadn't been assigned for the rental. Store was closed and only other location in town that was open did not have similar size truck available. Had to wait for the location to open for 'regular' pickup. Was paying a crew to load/unload and had to pay for wasted time while waiting for the truck. Very disappointing.

They gave me guided tour and great detailed instructions which I appreciated. This is not the first time I've done business with them and certainly will not be the last when I'm in St. Joseph, MO. I also witnessed them teaching new employees. They are kind and respectful. I hope they are somehow recognized for their customer service.

Neither hm or the district manager know how to call customer obviously because I called numerous times over months and was told they would call me and they never did. Finally had to call corporate office to get anything done but yet these people keep their jobs! Time for higher management to step in and watch what is really going on in this store and start making changes because it is not good when they treat customers how they do! I moved my things out as quickly as I could because I was tired of the treatment I was receiving

I was abit disappointed in the fact that i didn't get credit back for not opening the blankets. I also picked up the truck on half tank and returned it with 3/4 tank. It would have been nice for that and unopened blankets to take care of the $4.00 for going over mileage.
