Josh and the other staff at U-Haul in Salisbury went above and beyond to help me through the whole process, which was a stressful situation for me. I will recommend them every time and if I need storage needs again I am definitely going back there

THERESA DPretty sure my guy's name was David. He was an older dude, knew all about trailers and stuff which I didn't. He had some trouble with the computer and even stayed after close to get me the trailer I needed. He knew all about the pickup I was putting the trailer on, the car I was going to tow, and the computer he was using to book it. He hooked up the trailer quick and got me on the road with perfect service. Dude was knowledgeable, polite, and sociable. I normally wouldn't have a good time waiting for a computer to fix itself, but David's car talk made it worth the wait. 5 stars for David.

manuel c | Overall ExperienceYou had to cancel my first reservatioin and create a second because Massachusetts did not hav a delivery system to New Hampshire. Cindy at 978-965-2747 was very helpful in getting the situation rectified. However, it took several phone calls and emails to get everything straightened out. UHaul wanted to deliver my box to 122 Rabbit Run in Salisbury instead of to my home in New Hampshire.

GRANT BRosanna was absolutely fabulous. She was busy with so many customers but managed it all perfectly.
SANDRA PThe U-Haul delivery and pickup to our home in MA was flawless. They did change the pickup date to two days earlier, but we were able to accommodate the new date change. The drop off and pickup in FL wasn’t as great. They changed the drop off date without notice, they were almost impossible to reach by phone and they delivered outside our delivery window. Very frustrating, but all in all a positive experience.

MICHAEL RI’ve dealt with other rental companies in the past no one ever made it easy. John made the rental with U-Haul very easy. He took the time to answer all my questions and was very polite. When we brought the vehicle back I ask him to inspect it so he could confirm it was properly returned. Without hesitation he said yes. Other rental companies made me feel like I was inconveniencing them and gave me attitude. It’s nice to see that someone treats their customers respect.

JOSEPH FOnly reason i say it was secure is because the doors didnt work half the time. So you couldnt even get in. When i moved out the doors were again broken. So getting my stuff out caused a lot of stuff to fall and break as it was thrown off my cart because it was bounced around over the large doorway lips. 5 of my 8 canvases with paintings on them were ripped and broken. The staff that had to help me when i moved out was creepy and made me very uncomfortable. He kept talking about his "treasures" and took 20 minutes to sign my move out paperwork because he was too busy talking and holding my paper under his arms. The floors were always dirty and the bathroom had wine bottles everywhere. I will not suggest uhaul to anyone.

KENDRA RJohn was fantastic - my only problem was trying to fill the gas tank as it was a little more complicated than normal. The ford transit i had needed a special funnel to give it gas and I had trouble even finding the location of the tank. I would suggest a laminated paper that has instructions on how to fill the tank and keep it in the glove compartment for people. But nothing that would stop me from using this location again!
ELIZABETH MI was disappointed that we originally reserved a unit inside but there is no elevator. We were able to secure an outdoor space with the help of David the attendant.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful and always available for questions. We had an indoor unit; it was easy to access very well-lit and very clean. I would highly recommend U-Haul in Seabrook, after a year we finely cleared out our unit and there were no musty odors to deal with, everything was just as we had placed it into storage.

Once signed in, it should not require another "signing in", for twenty minutes and perhaps only need a door swipe access for the rest of the time. You have to swipe at just the right speed for it to work. It is like trying to learn a secret handshake every time to gain access. Even after a successful "signing in", when you get to the door, it says that you need to sign in and you repeat the process. But if you need storage and do not want your stuff in the super hot or deep freeze temperatures, this is the place to go.

All went well, but we recommend using plastic film to protect your belongings as you are never safe from dust coming from the floor above you. We had to change units a couple of times. Maybe U-Haul should add a protective layer between the ceiling and your personal belongings.

My items were there for 3 yes the first time. It's always immaculate, never had to worry about my items being secure. NEVER and rodents, insects etc. I have to say, the manager there now... Keep him!!! The reason I took my stuff out the first time was the manager at the time was NOT pleasant. She was just downright nasty. You're new manager... He's phenomenal. Nice guy, down to earth. Knows what he's doing and does whatever he can to help. That's all employee you want to keep. Hopefully I won't need to go through having to move again, but if I do, I'll definitely be back!!! Never an issue with security or undesirable people just hanging around as with other facilities. 24 hr access used to be available which is convenient but the hours now are more than sufficient. I will day the manager there now is MUCH more pleasant than the woman that was there. She was part of the reason I took my stuff out. The manager now was phenomenal!!! Someone give him a raise!!!

The only upside was that it was free to keep my stuff there for 6 weeks after arguing with the manager about the rate. Then when the day came to move out they had put a lock on my unit. I had to search for an employee for 20 mins to help me figure out why the lock was there. I will never come back.

Laurie K | First ImpressionsWe chose Uhaul Storage as the location was convenient for what we were looking for and not for the service or management. Do not waste your time on the website looking for a unit to rent/reserve. The online reservation and email confirmation you receive mean absolutely nothing. If you call them or speak to them in person they will tell you that the units are given out first come first serve at physical check-in and that the reservation you have taken the time to make does not hold a space for you. Moving in itself is stressful enough, but packing all week and moving all day, hours in a truck, and then finding out that the storage size you are requesting is sold out that day is not available when you plan to arrive is just the most unsettling news. Luckily while we were a just a few hours from arriving to the facility they called us back and told us a room had just opened up. There should be a way to be able to reserve ahead of time and pay in advance in order to hold a room for your arrival.
Ava P | First ImpressionsA lock was supposed to be included in the rental of the storage unit and was supposed to be found just inside the door of the empty unit but there was no lock and when I returned to the office was told that they were out of stock, fortunately we had our own from a previous rental! Otherwise a great rental experience so far. I rented a truck too. Pleasant staff, his name was Matthew. The Manager (Adrian) is knowledgeable and the remainder of the staff (Alex) struggle, for example my reserved storage unit wasn't really reserved, and my unused cardboard box return which had been purchased earlier in the day was returned with a receipt, and yet I got a shrug of the shoulders and "something is wrong and we can't give you a return receipt but the money _should_ return to your CC in a few weeks", from the same employee who incorrectly told me my unit was reserved a few weeks ago. A+ would use again, but make sure you talk to Adrian.

Also, I referred a friend to this uhaul, and they screwed up which size unit she wanted, twice, including making her go to another uhaul for the truck, which made her have to pay for the extra mileage on it.

But when I went to pick up the truck to empty my storage on the 8th the facility assistant manager who was a gentleman he was very very disrespectful. He takes about the lady who helped me on the 6th real bad he said she should have never do what she did also his inter act with me was awful. My card didn't work to get me back and forth get every trip I made. The guy who was doing the vehicle cleaning etc had to help me. The so called assistant manager was so bad I refuse to ask him any more questions. Don't remember his name but in a rating of 1 to 10 I gave him a -50. My service was excellent on Wednesday the 6th but terrible on the 8th Thank you very much.

Most employees seemed poorly trained and the facility always seemed understaffed. Storage room itself was secure and clean and never had difficulty accessing it. Each time claiming they couldn't locate the owner of the init above me. In May 2020, I paid for May & June storage. At end of May myself & husband went to get some items out of the unit. The pink oil was again dripping into my unit. We had to clean it ourselves... then we just took everything out and terminated our storage. I asked for a refund of June rent, I was told I had to speak to the manager, so I left a message for him to call. He never called. I tried calling him and just got a recording with no option to leave a message. The Salisbury UHaul is filthy and there is no resolution to problems... alot of my personal belongings were damaged and had to be discarded. In my opinion, I think this facility is terribly managed... Never store belongings there!!
