Pete S | Overall ExperienceThe personal interaction for pick up was good. The store itself was very nice bright and clean. But the truck was what I would consider filthy.. empty pop cans with tobacco spit in them, crushed food on the floor, use Kleenex and napkins in the compartments. The truck was also very, very loud. I’m not sure the muffler was working at all.
JASON PWe did not check the inside of the trailer but should have.We hauled 4mattresses and all wet filth from the floor being so dirty. I tried calling several times and never did through,that system is horable!!! Not a happy customer .

ALFRED LMake sure the truck is clean. The cab of the truck smelled like cigarettes. Had to get air fresheners just for that. The back of the truck had some debris in it not bad. Biggest thing was the cab smelling like cigarettes. Also if you advertise that you have moving dolly's on your website then make sure your location has them. I ordered one got to the place just to be told that they didn't have one. Just for the person to go look in one of their other trucks and find one. Yes it got taken off my bill but, I was more disappointed that they didn't have one. I was moving everything by myself and truly needed it, so I am happy that they found one. And I can understand that when people rent the trucks and turn them in at different locations that you don't get the dolly's back. But your a uhual company that should be something the company itself disperse to all its locations.

TESSA P | Overall ExperienceBRAND NEW FACILITY, Staff is great but should be extremely frustrated with corporate- as a customer & REALTOR, U-Haul fails to provide advertised services… I use indoor climate controlled, highly secure , well-lit facility- $164/mo. unit. Auto lights don’t work, security card readers inoperative & security doors stuck wide open daily, auto pay was cancelled when I had to move to larger unit, then told to pay $32 penalty when payment was not made timely. How can we REALTORS recommend your facility to our clients when you ignore your staff’s requests for company’s hardware & software maintenance issues. FIX IT!

We were under a time crunch and everyone at this U-Haul location made everything go WAY better than we anticipated, with limited stress, due to having to move so quickly! TESSA PUnit was assigned to us, we spoke to the Jerry who was there for the day as we were driving 3 hours and would be there close to the facility closing when the worker would be gone. He verified the unit was ready and available for move in. We get there with about 30 mins to spare from closing. We finally locate our unit and find out the unit was locked. Nobody answered the ringers that are throughout the facility. So we called Uhaul customer service and proceeded to be transferred again and again 4-5 times. Everyone kept saying they had to reach the manager of the facility to transfer our unit because the one rep said all that was available was a larger more expensive unit that we would have to pay more for even though we saw many many many units of ours and other sizes that had tags saying ready for customer use. The manager wasn’t answering their phone, and we were now inside the facility after hours with alarms going off. All we wanted was to just get assigned a new unit. Finally the manager answered and my wife and I found a same size unit that was open with no tag even the manager agreed to switch us over to in the system in the morning. Thankfully we had our own lock otherwise we wouldn’t even have been able to lock our items up. (The text said we would be provided a lock inside the unit). And you know while we understand mistakes happen, but it took over an hour to get this settled and we didn’t even get an apology from anyone let alone any thing else for our time and trouble of others not doing their job. Also the main door to get into the facility which we were givin a code to to open, was wide open and stuck like that when we arrived so anyone could just go in and out as they please. The bathroom also had no soap in it. Being a business owner, this facility/the way uhaul lets it be run is really sad as it is such a big corporation but even the little things get overlooked and there is no accountability or even empathy when it comes to us having to be inconvenienced after a long road trip, late in evening and having to fight and claw our way to find someone that could help. I’d have understood more if the facility was full, but we were told and saw first hand that over half the facility was still available yet we had to have our time wasted and do other peoples jobs for something we are paying for and had confirmed the day of, prior to our arrival. Adding insult to injury, this is the second time I have rented a storage unit from Uhaul only to arrive with someone else’s lock on it. It’s just ridiculous because this is all this company does.

This concerned as I could only imagine people could hide in these unlocked units and accosting someone. As a single female who often went to my unit by myself it concerned me. It wasn't like that when I first arrived there.

Fortunately the local office was excellent and knew their inventory and worked with us to ensure things worked out. We greatly appreciate the local staff and work they did to make our move work as planned.

bryan lCarrie was excellent as far as customer service and was nothing but accommodating. Avery was originally the manager when we moved in to our unit and shared with my husband that he was also a veteran, explained that the company was founded by military veterans. He offered us a military discount of 20% on our rental so we opted for a larger unit. After 6 months, Carrie was told to call us to let us know she had to remove the discount because it was an employee discount. I explained to her that it was given to us by Avery for my husband’s veteran status and she said she would call me back after she explained this to her boss. When Carrie called back, she said he told her to remove the discount. It was at that point that I told her I appreciated her help but would be moving my things out of the unit this weekend - which we have done to trigger this survey. It is very disheartening that higher management (above Carrie/the local management team) does not value the service of our military veterans more than they value a dollar. I will be posting this review publicly as well so others know.

Chi-Wei CWhen I was due to pay my first month storage fee it was in the computer that I had a 5by 10 when I repeated my self multiple times I only wanted a 5 by 5 and the staff were not willing to change it and put it in the computer correctly which I found unprofessional due to the fact that they were training a lady on the day I got my storage and we all know people can make mistakes so I feel it should have been corrected bit it wasnt

Hannah MMake sure the trucks are clean before the next customer uses them. I swear the previous person was transporting pigs because the amount of filth and stink in the truck was astonishing. The 1 guy at the location did a great job in his work but he was in way over his head working the location by himself. I would highly recommend 2 people work a shift be ause you had 3 people behind me waiting to be helped as well. And if there experience was anything like mine with a product it'll be a rough start being a new location and all. I hope this helps make the location because the Sault will definitely find value in having a uhaul storage place here. Just do it the right way.

Very glad we didn’t have to go far! No receipt sent to email like was told would be. Not a great experience.

Derek TDakota was a huge help and deserves a raise!! Wasn’t happy you don’t accept cash and are having many issues with the computer & card system. Took way to long to book a uhaul & until was there nearly an hour and picky on cards it'll accept. Then was overcharged once we finished everything and wasn’t able to get a refund so Dakota paid us out of pocket via the Managers instructions, please refund him $10. Staff was nice and very helpful, the system & setup needs tons of improvement and accept CASH! Get it together uhaul!

Unfortunately the person I was supposed to sell my home to was not so understanding as I tried to get a uhaul on Saturday and was unable to get one because of an odd circumstance and was told I would not have to pay until I got to my destination and then Sunday we were told we they only take card for the uhaul whole trip. So we did not have cash and the banks were not open. Then I was told to get a check so I ran to my mom and dads and the check from them to pay and then that poor kind uhaul worker scanned the check in and sent it and it said payment processed but would not cross over to the other side and post as pain. She then called three different people with very long history of working for u haul and they could not figure out why. And after an hour of trying to get things settled we gave up.
