This is a high volume location and the staff there are very courteous and professional. The location is well staffed and agents are knowledgeable and helpful.
JEFFREY BThe online website will allow you to reserve a trailer at a location, even if that trailer doesn’t exist at that location. Then a representative called me to tell me I would not be able to pick up the trailer where I originally specified. The representative selected another location for me and “guaranteed” that the trailer would be there for pickup by 9 am. I get to the store at 9 and the representative in the store tells me my time has been changed to 10:30. After sitting and waiting until 10:30 the trailer still is not there. 11:30 and the guaranteed trailer still is not there. We then have to change the location again, which puts us driving an hour and a half round trip the opposite direction of the way we need to be going when we are already hours behind schedule. Drive to the new location and pick up the trailer that had been there the entire time that we could have picked up at 9 like we needed to. Now we are hours behind schedule and have to make a 12 hour drive one way to pick up the equipment. This can no longer be done in a reasonable time, meaning we had to alter our trip to account for an extra day, meaning I had to pay for three days for the trailer now instead of two, and had to pay for an extra hotel room because the trip now had to be extended another day.
MICHAEL JDon’t change a thing. The ladies that checked me out and the young man that checked me in were fantastic. They represent your company well and gave me a new, better impression of u-haul.
MATTHEW WMy experience was very disappointing. My reservation was changed the day before pickup. Then my car hauler was canceled and we had to drive around to find a car hauler. Then we were charged for going over in miles. I will never use UHaul again!

She asked me if I can pull the trailer around the other way towards the backShe then asked if I can back up trailer to the location to drop trailer. Yes I can. I told her in my younger years, I drove an 18 wheeler for about 22 years from coast to coast , border to border and drove over 2 million miles. I did a “great job” if I say so myself. That trailer pulled straight and true.

It damaged my bedroom set my mattresses my living room set and my shelvings. We did speak to a manager about filing a claim for replacement. We will have to rebuy items to replace damaged property that was left under the care of U-Haul in the storage units. Thxu

ferdinand s | Overall ExperienceA sullen and dispirited employee checked us in and told us we needed to inspect the trailer,. But, when we started to do that, she said we had to hook it up first. Distracted, we turned our attention to trying to get the truck and trailer out of a very tight parking lot that required a lot of backing up and jockeying. Two miles down the road, at another stop, we discovered that the left tire was bald, badly cracked and leaking air. Called the rental office and since it was still drivable, returned it for another trailer. Otherwise, we would have needed to call Roadside Assistance and waited for someone to come and deal with the tire. Upon returning, the same employee told us it was our fault that we were given a trailer with a bad tire. This time, getting the truck and trailer out of the tight parking lot was even trickier and required another customer to move his car. A mile down the road, we hit a bump and the trailer came off the ball and started dragging on the ground.No brakes in a small trailer, so stopping without having the trailer tongue run up under the truck was challenging. The employee never tightened the lock for the ball. We managed to get the truck and trailer safely to the side of the road and fixed the employee's negligence. A nearby road crew heard the noise and came to see if we were OK and offered to help. Trailer performed fine for the rest of the rental period. Drop off went smoothly with a friendly and helpful agent .

Janet VAuto trailer had wiring problem on right side tail light. Roadside service got it working again, but it went out again the same day. I got it working again myself, but it kept going out on the road. The wiring harness at that light needs to be replaced.
JAMES STime schedule online did not match with actual scheduled time. Make sure that the costumer knows that. Took off work to find out that the time scheduled online was different by 2 and a half hours later. Expectation management!

Did not have my reserved vehicle and didn’t care that I reserved it several days before. Very disappointing. Would never recommend Ogeechee Blvd. I chose the option of not recommending this location because of my comments in the drop off location. Overall this was not a good experience for me. Had the truck only one day but was charged over mileage because of road closures. Ridiculous

PAUL C1. You need to remove the 17' from online if you no longer offer it. There is no way of knowing until you are at the store, defeating the entire purpose of completing it online. 2. Denying equipment request that isn't available instore. Huge inconvenience for both the customer and staff when equipment requested through online reservations are available when customer arrive.

ROGER OThe staff was very polite but when I arrived Wednesday for the rental pickup I was told that the computers were down nationwide and I would have to reschedule. I complied patiently. I returned this AM for the half day rental. The truck was problem laden to the point of possible liability concerns. The overhead visor could not be latched and routinely fell down and blocked the driver’s view out of the windshield. It is a challenge to tow a trailer and drive with only one hand on the wheel. The passenger side mirror would not stay in an adjusted fixed position thus it was a 60 percent guess when attempting to change from the passing lane to right lane. Yet another potential disaster.. The interior was also dirty and sticky. The “check engine light” was also on the entire time. When I shared these findings with the agent, Steve, he very politely acknowledged my concerns as normal findings. As a physician, I am no stranger to the possible risks of litigation especially here in Chatham county. You, at U Haul, may want to address some of your deficiencies. A little attention may benefit you both with marketing and safety. Thomas Shook
THOMAS SI went to 2 stores to get A tow dolly or a car hauler so you tell me how you can have 10 trailers in the us and say you don’t have none available and the you tell the 2 nd place the 1 st store said you have 2 left then you get there and they say they have none available then you fussed with them they say the computer do T know but any how I got 1 I returned it back to the same location and it’s funny how they are all still sitting in the yd but yet they are rented how and another fellow wanted to get a open trailer and he was told the same none available but yet there are a few on the lot and to top it off a black fella come in and wanted a trailer and he got it hmmmm what is going on

HAZEL WThe dolly had a wheel axle bent and the stair rollers did not work. When filling the gas it was at half and I put 8 or so gallons of gas in it before it jumped to 3/4. It was only supposed to be a little over half. That dolly should be trashed.

Temperature levels inside the facility were regularly over the threshold when we accessed our unit, especially in the summer and early fall seasons. The building itself is secure but was constantly in need of repair and maintenance. All of these factors, combined with the inconvenient location, eventually led us to find another storage solution in the area.

When I finally did get my things out there were dropping and bugs in my furniture so I ended up having to get rid of most of my things. I was not compensated in any way for the time I did not have access to my unit. There was a point where they put a lock on my unit because I missed a payment due to changing cards and not updating it. I made the payment and called to request the lock be removed. They said they’d remove it within 24 hours. I drove an hour and a half after 48 hours and ended up having to cut the lock myself. One of the young ladies in the office was rude when I asked her who I needed to contact about the inconvenience. I will never use U-Haul for storage again. Worst experience ever hands down.

There are times the cards they give us to swipe in and out don’t work and yet again we have to wait long periods of time for something so simple. Uhaul also had never resolved an issue with a truck rental back in July of 2022, this shows how effective their customer service is.

The staff also closed my account on July 14, 2022 instead of July 13, 2022, the day I left the storage.

We opened the door and discovered water damage in the unit and a large box of personal clothing was damaged from laying in the water for who knows how long. I took pictures of the unit and there was white duct tape over this area, so that tells me there most likely had been water leaking previously, yet U-Haul rents the unit again w/o repairing the leak issue (taping it is like only putting a bandaid on it). We did not purchase insurance on this unit, didn’t believe we needed to, if you take proper care of your facility. Obviously you don’t and I expect to be properly compensated for the cleaning of the clothes with hopes of getting the musty/moldy smell out. I expect to be notified from U-Haul within the next couple days- if not, I will be following up myself.

Lakia has been an angel in trying to assist me but I still do not understand why I was given the incorrect date for such a time sensitive matter.

The weeds from outside began growing on the inside through the back of the storage unit. I had rat feces everywhere. I tried to donate much as I could of furniture items to Goodwill. I refused to take any of it into my brand new home. Everything else was packed and tossed in the trash. I can’t believe I was paying for almost 4 years to throw everything away. It was horrible. The Uhaul truck was the only thing that was great. It didn’t breakdown this time on me. I wish I could submit these pictures to show other customers. I paid on the 30th of every month which included late fees since my unit was due on the 12th of every month. I paid for Uhaul to deliver horrible services every month to me. I recommend Uhaul to upgrade the whole structure and treat customers items as they would treat their own.

I accepted the offer, completed the online move in process at which point I was informed everything was all set to move in. I even called the facility to ensure that if I were not available to move into the unit that my representative could do so if I had completed the online process. I work as a front line healthcare provider and had to work so asked my wife to move the contents into the unit. I gave her all the details to do so, including a screen shot of my confirmation. At the facility, the buildings were very poorly marked and when she asked the employee where the unit was, she was informed that the employee could not give her any information because the unit was not in her name. When my wife finally located the unit, with no help from staff, the codes we were given for access did not work. As I was trying to care for my patients, I was also having to try to handle this chaos over the phone with my wife. Finally, my wife forced to go back to the employee and demand assistance to access the unit. Ultimately, locating and accessing the unit took twice as long as actually moving in the contents. As an extra bonus, to complete the online move in process to the unit, I had to pay 99.95 even though it was supposed to be free for month. I called the location 3/25/2021 to request a refund of the 99.95. The automated system informed me it would be a 20 minute wait for a representative. After nearly 39 minutes someone came on the line. I explained the pricing issue and was told that someone from that location would call me that day. Needless to say, it is 3/29/2021 and I have still not received a call. I am currently waiting on the phone (23 minutes so far) to try to get this resolved. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated with the entire process and would appreciate contact from someone who can help me. You guys make a point to mention on the automated phone system that calls are recorded to help keep your promises made to your customers. I would like to see proof of that.
