I have made 5 appointments to get a hitch installed I have utilized U-Haul many times over the past few decades - this is by far the worst experience The shop is way too big I needs more administrative/ organized staff Please move hitch installation to another shop- this shop is not able to do it

John TI used moving blankets and wrapped them around my tv and safely put bags of clothes around it and when I took it out it was destroyed. It was raining when I moved and in the back of the truck was a puddle of water and my couch was soaked. I will not be renting one of your trucks in the future but the staff was great.

ROBERT KWe asked for a floor dolly but got utility dolly. We got the truck at a 1/4 tank of gas. The app was confusing because when w we went to look at the picture where the car was located it got us out of the app n said we got the keys when we did not because we was trying to find the truck number than the trucks were parked so closed together that you barely could get in the truck. When we return the truck the chick that took the truck to inspect the truck was speeding through the parking lot almost hitting people with the truck like slow down that's uncalled for and unprofessional
Jacqueline TWe do not understand why our drop off location changed and why someone called today 4/27/25 and stated we did not drop off the uhaul where we supposed to (at Smithtown, the new location) when we did. Very confusing experience for us.

THOMAS LThe employee who I dealt with when I returned my equipment was rude and lied about the amount of miles I drove. I drove 25 miles and he said I drove 65 miles. When I asked him why he said “it’s not my problem”. I would like a discipline to be taken against this employee. I returned my uhaul at 12pm on January 11th. I would also like my money back for those made up 40 miles I did not drive. Not happy at all, will not recommend to anyone I know.

Gerard SI have a question regarding the calculation of trip miles for my recent order. The order indicates a distance of 30 miles, but the actual distance is approximately 10-15 miles. This discrepancy is quite significant, and I believe it is important for both the customer and your team to have accurate information. Could you please clarify how the trip miles are calculated for this order?

THOMAS MPerfect trailer good thing I took the one with a ramp it really made a difference!! I forgot my straps in the back of the trailer and the lovely lady called me right away. Ill be back next month already set up my reservation.

The two employees at this facilty saved the day and booked us at another UHAUL facility close by on Bellemeade RD in Smithtown NY.

I had a reservation for a unit over a month out before I was to move in, the facility overbooked and didn’t have the correct unit available for me, causing me to have to move into a bigger unit which was more expensive. The workers are rude, don’t care to actually help you out. They just pad some problem off to the next person. The hours are ridiculous. And won’t give you an extra back up access card. It’s all just a very inconvenience of a place and I can’t wait to leave.

They scammed my information into a rental and then racked up a $2500 amount due. I look foward to the trial because I've retained an attorney for uhauls continued harassment.

For this reason I emptied my unit and canceled our relationship. By the way, "You are allowed to comment one time for each move-out.", seriously? You are not doing me a favor allowing me to comment. You should see this as valuable feedback, not a favor you grant your ex-customers.
