Eric WI recommend not using the 24/7 Truck Share. This adds extra work for you the customer with no added savings.
Mark KIt took an hour to get my trailer. I already pre checked in. There was a new person trying to do my order and was super slow. The other gentleman left and went outside to help another person leaving the new person stranded for 30 minutes. They needed more help if they are going to train and gonoutaide to assist customers.
Doug SThere was only one woman at the office that seemed to be very helpful the other woman seemed a little rude, I had an extra lock on my storage unit and I was asking about it for some reason that was a funny joke to the other none helpful woman in the office. Unfortunately I don’t remember the good workers name but she also helped me end my one way contract so you could possibly fine her that way. Also don’t appreciate paying over 1,000 for a moving truck with a slipping transmission the whole time driving from SC to IN…

Dan Bthis sitr is great but I feel that I was mislead at the scottsburg indiana site ( gardner st ) and the misleading cost me an additional $100 dollars because they had me return the truck to them insted of returning it to a closer site like in Jasper Indiana whic only 7 miles away from where i moved to. poor management and rude people. I would never reommend this site to anyone

My UBox experience was a very good one as the communication was excellent and the UBox was delivered and picked up on time. My questions were answered promptly by my personal representative, Debbie from Jeffersonville. She was available whenever I needed to contact her. I received phone calls and texts throughout the process. She was very helpful and personable. I received several phone calls and texts from the Manteca office regarding delivery and pickup of the UBox in CA. Overall great experience I would recommend this service to others.

JIMMY Si was charged for being 3 hours early had to stand around while a crackhead gal did not make up her mind and walked out . note on YELP this site gets a 2 out of five stars ! i called the day before talked to a gal that was speaking in Ebonics and then hung up on me after she asked me 3 times what i was going to haul on the car dolly a 04 honda element every time she asked for the year ! after i said a 04 honda like a 2004 honda DUH . she hung up so i called the main office and vented to supervisor he handed me over to a gal that was helpful and comprehended the english language (im in the trucking biz yes I know 90% of the people are lost in space ) got it set up advised it would be before noon was the best I could do not knowing if I could get out of the office fast .I may have it two days So I got there the guy at the desk did get help for me to get hooked up and my one of my shop people drove the Honda on the dolly . was going to be charged just over $200 rent What happened to $44 a day ?? I put it in the wind got up to near Columbus OH and back By about 5:30 that same day ( was in the F 250 Tremor ) I was only charged the one day rent YAY and that was that . but do hire better office staff the lot man was more with it than the office people !
William LWe had some struggles, partially due to me needing to upgrade the size of the truck so we had a ramp. Service has never been a strong suit here but that's OK, price is right and I can wait. However, when an employee trying to help me commented on another employee hiding out in the garage on his phone. I am thankful my son had already left as the f-bomb-laced reply about where the employee helping me should go is not a good look. This location has always been a rough spot, but we'll be looking for another location going forward. I don't expect this review to change anything. But being abusive to another employee isn't helpful to your staff or customers.

DANIEL NYour smartphone app didn't allow uploading of images for odometer, plate, etc. The app didn't offer the option to select images for upload; it just uploaded a black square then provided a prompt that the image wasn't able to be read.
GARETH MHad no marker lights on trailer. totally dark at night time. Cars were blinking their lights and blowing horns at me. The UHaul guy said everything was working properly when I left. I even questioned before I left that I didn't think they were working. He said it was because it was daylight and that they would come on at dusk.

WESLEY Htrailers all ways clean but this week trailer lights quit working two hours away last week we couldn’t not take a trailer because the wiring was broken and pulled apart - we tried to fix the wiring but ther was more damaged wired under there trailer , i was refunded last week
CLIFTON TThe vehicle I rented had a headlight on the driver’s side was out, the sun visor was broken and fell down in front of the driver’s view constantly, and found the left rear tire on the auto trailer was flat when loading the vehicle. Had to stop and air up the tire before returning home.
HARRY MI ordered a truck and tow dolly well in advance and confirmed the order. When we arrived Nono of their tow dollies were functioning. They told us we had to travel from the location to another location in Kentucky. We arrived to the second location to be told they knew nothing about a phone call from the first location and that they had no tow dollies. I called U-Haul and the person was going to send us to yet another location!! I told her that was unacceptable and it had already been proven that just because she said they had a dolly did not mean they actually had one. I stayed on the phone with her as she communicated with the Kentucky location where we were. After a long time the location somehow came up with a functioning tow dolly. We had worked all morning loading the truck. We had to use gas and mikes to drive the truck from location to another and back again. We were exhausted, thirsty and hungry. I was told I would be refunded $50 which I have BUT THAT IS NOT ENOUGH TO COMPENSATE FOR THIS LEVEL OF INEPTITUDE AND UNPROFESSIONALISM. I placed an order and no one checked to see if they could fill the order PRIOR to my arrival. I have filed one complaint and will file another. I expect to be compensated more than $50. If I am not I will use social media to share my story with others. And I will NEVER use U-Haul again. Carmen Stone

Terenca HAbsolutely the worst customer service I have ever received! The man I spoke with over the phone was extremely rude.
CHRISTOPHER SI was yelled at and cursed at on pickup because when I said i pre paid, the customer service agent said there's no way. When she called her customer service representative, she was told I did pre pay for my uhaul. I never got an apology or anything after being SCREAMED at. While she was on the phone with her husband the whole time.
Kendra TThe 10 ft. UHaul truck that I rented was dirty inside and out. A tar-like substance was on the rearview mirror and the entire front windshield. When I returned the truck, it was around closing time and the entire parking lot was full of vehicles. A driver came in from behind me and side-swiped another parked UHaul truck, which an employee witnessed. Trying to navigate through this parking lot was very difficult. There were too many vehicles than this location could safely handle. Management needs to fix this problem ASAP.

Martin PThere was a masterlock key lock on the back truck door and I couldn't open the door. The uhaul branch said it wasn't their lock and I could cut it off so I had to find a way to cut it off without having to drive all the way back to the uhaul rental location, but in the end I got the lock off and the truck drove fine and was clean and got the job done. Perfect size for the stuff I was moving!
JEREMIAH CI had to move my truck when it should have been in a pickup location. I had to remove the rental sign from the truck. No one checked out the truck with me. Not very service oriented but the truck was clean.
STEPHANIE AThe cost per mile is really insane considering I also have to pay for gas. You should also be more up front about $/mile when booking the vehicle instead of it being hidden.

JEFFREY BWaited 20 minutes for desk associate to come out of the bathroom at pick up. Upon return i had to take photos of all 4 sides cab and back. Why am I processing the return and being charged? I don't work for Uhaul.
Michael MTruck had some sort of access panel/maintenance panel in the middle of the cargo floor that was missing screws and loose. Almost twisted my ankle stepping on it while carrying furniture into the truck. This should have been fixed before the truck was available for rental

RICKEY BI made a reservation several days in advance for a 9” van. When I showed up (on time) to pick up and drive my rental, I discovered the U-Haul location on 365 Eastern Boulevard in Clarksville, Indiana had not set up my vehicle— meaning I had nothing to drive. I called the assistance line and was on-hold for 15 minutes until the assistant, while nice and informative, had to send me to another U-Haul location located 20 minutes away, to drive a 10” truck now. Well, when I got to the new location, a gas station that was shady and sketchy, I decided to drive my personal vehicle to Georgia instead. When I got to Georgia the next day, a friend convinced me to try U-Haul again. I made a reservation for a 10” truck and received a call the next day, an hour before my reservation time, telling me that my reservation vehicle had not been prepared AGAIN, and that I needed to drive to another location to get it. At this point, I accepted the situation, and picked up that truck for this review. Overall, very frustrated and dissatisfied with the services U-Haul wants to offer. It’s hard enough to move as it is— let alone when nothing is guaranteed.

JEFFREY BWell there was an issue with the equipment then I had to go to the emergency room then I was admitted for kidney issues. So do to the kidney issues that left me hospitalized which is out of my control, the return of the equipment was late. The employee was understanding of the situation and said he would waive the late fee, I was greatly appreciative until I saw my account and saw the charges. I was charged for an extra day and had all the late fees. It would be nice if the employee wouldn't have lied to me especially with the late return being out of my control. I was charged twice and including late fees.
Farrah WCustomer Service Clerk during pickup was very courteous and professional. He made each transaction very smooth and easy. This employee should be acknowledged for his impeccable service.
ARNOLD JRobert was super helpful in directing us to get wiring for lights and helping us remove the cap to plug in for the trailer light. Debbie was helpful getting us checked out the trailer. They both help me with information for submitting claims and getting refund.
WEN-LI FEverything went smoothly. The customer service and people helping in the yard were top notch.

SHETILA R | First ImpressionsWhen I arrived, it was quite busy with only one person behind the desk and a line of 4 waiting to be helped. Once there was about 2 left in line, there was another staff member who hopped behind the desk and helped me out. She was very helpful. Originally, I asked for a 5 x 12 unit which we filed all the paperwork for and I made my way out there to find it wasn't going to be big enough to fit all the items i needed to store. I had to go back and try and transition into a bigger unit, which the staff member was very kind in doing that procedure for me. There were a few bumps where the key to get into the storage area didn't work so I had to go back and forth a few times until we got it right. Once i went to the bigger unit she switched me to, there was a problem with one of the doors not locking, which i went back into the office and spoke to them about. Although, frustrated with the situation, she was very kind in helping me file more paperwork to transfer me into another unit of the same size. So, in this case, third one was ultimately a charm. The unit was clean and just what i needed. The reason its not 5 star rating was for the trouble i had to go through and the unit that was busted. Another than that the place was well kept, and staff for the most part were more friendly to me than to each other.

layssa w | Overall ExperienceThe moving experience I had which was very sudden, was very good with this U Haul, they were as helpful and as efficient as anyone could ask. I needed a truck and a place to store my belongs “Immediately” and didn’t have much time to accomplish the tasks at hand. They led me through the move and relieved the pressure which could have added to my already chaotic day. I’d like to mention that during our relationship I had a heart attack which took all of my attention and was my number 1 priority, I had completely lost track of what and even where I had stored my possessions. I finally went to retrieve things, and found I was several months in arrears and was naturally in dire straights. The gentleman who I assume was in management, was the most companionate person I’ve had the honor to meet in most of my 69 years on this planet. Adjusting my payoff balance to something I could afford was wonderful and beyond that he’d allowed me time to collect my belongings, saving me even more pressure. I was told by someone at the U-Haul storage place that this is a known issue at least since November 2022 and I only had my items in storage from July 1-July 22, 2023 so for my belongings to be ruined by mice droppings means that the mice infestation is totally uncontrolled. I have called corporate and hopefully they will do something about this. I really feel there should be a sign or some type of notice prior to renting storage space with a known mice infestation problem. I thank you for being honest after the fact but that doesn't help the fact that my stuff is ruined and that I have to file a claim to get this problem resolved.

They ate through boxes and plastic containers. When I got the stuff to my new apartment, not only was everything thoroughly covered in mouse droppings, I had live mice jumping out, dead mice in my clothes, blankets, etc. They even got into my dog's bed. It was absolutely horrible! I left all of the mouse poop on the floor of the unit so that you could see just how bad it is. Once you get that taken care of it will be a nice place for storage.

George B | First ImpressionsI moved in March of 2022 and moved out December of 2022. This facility has a problem with mice. I lost several nice pieces of furniture due to mice chewing through a mattress and couch cushions to find a warm home when things got cold. I was told that this was not the facilities problem. They do have traps in the units but I was never informed that they wanted to check the traps to be emptied or replace the bait in the ten months I was renting. I like U-Haul over other competitors and will probably use them again but will have to spend more money for an indoor climate controlled unit. Maybe that will help. Overall good experience, staff is friendly and I felt safe leaving my belongings in the location I was in without fear of break-ins or theft.

I spoke to the lady checking in trucks and she blantedly ignored me for about a minute until I said “Hello, ma’am I asked you a question. She was literally in her phone and my face and did not care. Upon having to consult with her inside I said Hello how are you today. No response. So I spoke up and told her that I had just spoken to her and that she should have replied back. Honestly she was at work and should have spoke to me first. Her excuse was that she was tired because she got up 5 minutes before she was supposed to be at work. I politely schooled her on how to exhibit good communication and customer service skills regardless of what goes on at home. I’m a customer service manager so everything I experienced was a no go.

We went by one night to get something out of storage and found out our lock had been changed. It was after office hours so we had to come back the next day to find out why and to get in. That’s when they told us they had some break-ins. They acted like it was no big deal and when we questioned them on why they didn’t contact us they didn’t say anything. Several things were stolen from our building. And if we filed a police report I’m sure we would never see these things again because we have no idea how long ago this happened because no one from the facility contacted us. We are very disappointed in our experience.

This infestation occurred early on and there was obviously a large number of mice. I mentioned the mice to the staff.l, but all they said is they would set traps outside the unit and that was it. The price for my unit was rather high for storage. I missed one payment on time one time and paid it within days of missing. They sent me at least 5 letters in the mail about the same issue. One late notice should suffice or in the 21st century, a text would be more sensible.

William W | First ImpressionsI am amazed to be asked to rate my experience, both because the location is aware of the disastrous outcome of my stay and the total indifference to the situation exhibited at the time. The unit I rented, 264, was broken into and items taken. The replacement value of the stolen items, $450-500, far exceeds the difference I would have paid at a more reliable storage facility. No effort was made to inform me of the theft, nor any offer made to review the video record that is supposedly kept. When I discovered the break-in the staff acknowledged it but could not tell me exactly when it occurred, despite ubiquitous signage about "24-hour monitoring" and "no access without authorization". I don't expect any response or further action, given the lack of response when the theft was relatively fresh, but I will certainly not recommend or endorse this location.

The walls in the unit don’t even come up all the way to the ceiling, so people can go over the wall from unit to unit without even having to enter through the front. Absolutely ridiculous. I WILL NOT EVER recommend this location to anyone.

The unit had debris on the floor when I moved in and more debris, a mud dauber’s nest, and numerous spider webs as the doors Were not wind proof, and the latching often stuck. My rent increased once in that interval with No improvements visible.

I went to tell the people in the office and they told me it has been happening lately and all I can do is call the police to file a police report. No customer service at all, not an I'm sorry that happened or anything. Every time, I went to my storage unit there was always trash just laying outside of it for weeks. I am aware that they didn't know it was going to happen but of course, all of the cameras were facing the other way. I am very disappointed and will never use UHaul again.
