The truck did not handle well at all. Felt like it needed an alignment and new brakes. The new location was poorly thought out parking-wise. Disappointing experience.
ADAM BThank you for your help. I went to a location that was closed and was having difficulty with my phone. I called the help center and they routed me the new location in Keene, NH which was open. Amanda and her staff are always amazing. What started out as a potential disaster of a night worked out perfectly.

MARIE MAt drop off I indicated that I felt the brake pedal was too “soft” on application. Usually indicating air in the brake line. On the highway I had to allow 5-6 vehicle lengths between vehicles to be able to stop at 60 mph. K

Jay AHaving to return a vehicle via app is a little crazy. I've used U-Haul for years but I most likely will not again since the customer seems to do all of the work now from getting the truck ready to getting it checked in for the next person. I feel like costs should be cheaper due to the customer doing most of the work now. It used to be that a worker would get the truck ready and go through an inspection with the customer. Drop off used to be easy... Just leave the truck and put the keys in the box. Because of location downloading an app took over a 30 minutes then having to go through the steps took an additional 20 minutes. The wifi didn't work at all. At this rate why even bother having employees when the customers do everything short of checking and ID and clicking a button to say "ok"?

Sharon A | Online Move InThere is apparently a gasoline refill guideline which we were NOT given. We ended up returning the truck full of gas when only 3/4 was required. We received NO credit for the complete refill. Everything else, i.e. the equipment, the mileage estimate, the add-on equipment was fine. The shocks on the vehicle were a little tough but that it is high mileage so understandable. The gas refill guideline is a big disappointment.

FRED AIt's not the location or the staff - I reserved a van in Brattleboro and it wasn't back yet, so Uhaul changed my location to Keene, which didn't really work for me, but by the time they gave that update, it was the middle of the workday and I wasn't really able to problem-solve it. I would have preferred if they had given the option to rent a different sized vehicle rather than going to Keene - I'd rather pay for a little extra space than pay for unnecessary mileage. The fact that the previous customer wasn't back with the vehicle yet should not be on me. I think the right thing to do would have been to say "we're sorry we don't have the location you need; we can give you a different location for the same price, or, would a bigger vehicle work for you?" But Friday afternoon when the move is over the weekend and I'm at work is not the time to present a change in plans. A refund for the extra mileage would earn a better review.

Michael MWhen I take U-Haul rental I didn’t select the drop of location because I am not sure that time and this is my nearest location when I go to drop there they try to charge me extra and they make me wait longer for drop off
PIYUSHKUMAR GI don’t know what’s up with the young man with the cowboy hat and huge attitude but this is the second time I’ve interacted with him at a U-Haul location and his customer service has been downright rude. I work in customer service, even on my worst days I have always treated people with respect. It’s an issue how he ignores people and talks to them.
PHILOMENA BThe facility is sprawling and it was unclear where to pull in and drop-off the truck. Signage is missing or at least not obvious. Staffperson in the lot was not very communicative. Person on the phone was quite friendly and informative, however.

WESLEY BThere needs to be a designated handicap parking area closer to the door. There was an employee named Heather who told me I had to move my car or get towed when I pointed out I had handicap plates and was having a rough day she didnt care and insisted that I have to move my car. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.

DAVID BI rent from this location a lot and first time I’ve had an issue. Showed up 15 minutes early to pick up my rental and could not find an employee anywhere. To assist me. I did find a young lady outside cleaning a uhaul and made eye contact with her and went back inside however she did not come in. I went back outside again and asked for help. She stated she could only clean the uhauls and wasn’t trained in the computers but would find someone and made a phone call. I arrived at 545pm and after her phone call at 608pm an employee finally came in at 620pm. After completing paperwork let me know the young lady was just finishing up cleaning the unit that’s being assigned to me. She had been cleaning the cab area when I arrived. After being told on was all set they opened the back to find it cargo area in deplorable conditions. It was filthy and in the employees words smelled of cow manure. They had to take the additional time to use and air hose to blow this out then mop. It was now after 630pm for a 6pm pick up. Once i got the unit home and deployed the ramp i found that just a filthy as the back cargo area was. Not the level of service im used to from this uhaul center.

Amy BVery impressive facility. Was surprised the vehicle had no cruise control. Also, rented on a hot day with lots of heavy crawling traffic and the vehicle kept stalling; never a problem to restart but it did add to what was already a stressful day.
