Andrew S | Overall ExperienceTried to return the trailer at 7:20 - the people were inside. No one explained where or how to drop off the trailer, and they wouldn’t answer any questions. The employees were waiting to leave for the night and had their cars already on and pulled up to the store blocking the entrance to the back where you drop them off. So not only did they refuse to answer or even speak to me, they blocked where customers needed to go, saw me waiting, decided to have a 5 minute conversation, then leave. I ended up calling a friend and figuring it out but literally 30 seconds of their time was all I needed. I’ll be using a different company in the future. Also, the guy who helped me out was incredibly short, dismissive, and overall rude.

RALPH MI return the gas right below the fill line and the employee but the line further down. I asked him why and he said because I did have it on the full line. That’s not right for a business to do. You should put it where the line actually is because you’re falsifying a document.

Ralph R | First ImpressionsI rented a truck that was advertised as $19.99 a day plu 89 cents a mile. I drove the truck a total of 44 miles which should have been $39.14 plus the $19.99 which should have been $59.15 and I returned the truck the same day during normal business hours. I was charged $130.00, I still haven’t figured that out. I’ll never rent another U Haul product again in my life and I will tell everyone I know about this experience. This was nothing short of robbery.

ZEANNE HI selected Mobile Departure, but the keys were not in it and they charged me before they would give me the keys and before I had even left, and it was an overcharge. I did not drive the number of miles anticipated, and I am due a refund that I have not yet received. Furthermore, when tried the app to return the truck after 5pm but before my scheduled return time, it was not working properly and I had to try 4 of 5 times to get it to work. Worst of all, it said there was a pending payment and wouldn't let me complete the return truck action before approving to re-bill my card on file, which I already paid with earlier that same day. You have some software problems and some billing problems to work out. Furthermore, I am still waiting for my first refund for the truck I rented on 10-31-2024 per confirmation # 5077799. Disappointed by you, not once but twice.

I'm a disabled veteran with one leg and the other leg needs surgery. It's very hard for me to do everything aline with no help from the VA and no help from anyone. Shame on UHaul for that!

I was able to move in my belongings within the time I had! Although I would have preferred an actual person to be there to help me in the storage facility, the Self move in option was not as difficult as I imagined it.

However, in 2018 UHaul, as an organization changed, and I no longer felt safe about our belongings. I have not been allowed to speak with Wanda since then. Yesterday was a bad experience because we both felt our business for 15 years meant nothing. We know that even though we paid for the month of June, there is no refund even if you rented to someone else today. Perhaps I am overly sensitive because of my son, who is deceased, has all of his worldly possessions in there. We lived in Alaska and would try to move our things for many years. However, it was too painful for me, so we waited another year. I will not ever use UHaul storage, even in Alaska, because the company cares about $ and expansion more than customers. I will find mom and pick organizations from now on. I am certain you will continue to amass fortunes .. so be it. The younger folks do not know the difference. Thank you for letting me get this off my mind. At least I will never fear for my possessions in the future. Go bully someone else.
