Someone was available to help me right away to remove the trailer from my vehicle i did not touch the trailer at all and got my deposit back right away. quick and easy.

Frank Tthe individual who hooked the trailer chains up to the hitch did so in the most absurd way I'd ever seen, and one of the chains had come loose by the time I got home... In addition to this, I had to clean the trailer out before I could load it, because it was filled with white plastic shavings.. When I dropped the trailer off, the manager and the other service agent were concerned with my experience. I was dissapointed that I didn't receive any kind of rebate considdering there is a charge to not clean the trailer out upon returning it. The manager admitted that they need to be more thorough checking the small trailers when they are returned. However, the Leduc Uhaul location is amazing! All of the employees there are very helpful and knowledgable.
Stephanie SThe customer service experience was absolutely stellar at this location, as is typical. The person who helped me was thorough, fast, competent and relaxed. A SOLID 10/10 customer service experience equipment was clean, however the ball was so loose it felt like it was going to rattle the hitch off my vehicle. I had to load 200 pounds of sand bags into the front of the trailer to stop the trailer from bouncing so badly I thought there was going to be real damage to my vehicle. That particular trailer (Florida plate number GGH838) NEEDS the coupler replaced or repaired.

Bhargavkumar PCheck-in kind of slow. The pre-clearance pictures you want me to take before driving off with the vehicle are hard to perform when its backed up against a wall. Driver's side key slot stopped working. So had to enter through passenger side and scoot over all the time if driver's door locked. Vehicle felt like it was slowly falling apart on the road. When we returned it, the driver's side signal light had become loose and was about to come out of its slot. Inspection guys caught that, not me.

ROLAND HCannot comment as I had to return my rental after hours. There is a convenient gas station right opposite which is a definite plus. There were hardly any spots to park and vehicles had blocked the access to get inside the parking lot on the day I visited. Hopefully this is a good place as well. I just marked it average for that reason.

Marty FYour customer service is great. Your recent changes to your pricing structure, on the other hand, is making me think twice about future rentals with Uhaul. You need to drop your mileage rates to what they used to be. Charging the same overinflated mileage price for a pickup as you do for a 26ft truck is beyond ridiculous. Next time I have a decent distance to drive I(3 or 4 trips across the city can easily eat up 100+ km )a am going elsewhere. I spent more on mileage than the rest of both rentals combined. Even at $90 per day, I could have done cheaper with budget! At least they include 100 km a day in their rentals!
Chad IQuick and efficient check out of the equipment. Staff were busy but it was easy enough to hook up my rental trailer on my own. The staff did verify my connections and assisted with a light check before leaving. It was equally as busy when I returned the equipment, however the staff member came over as soon as she was free to complete the checkin process. Quick and painless as usual and the equipment preformed as expected. I'll try and rent from here again next time I need equipment if they have it available.

And when came to store to return they checked its not working and laughed. When asked if any reimbursement or anything laughed at my face. Terrible truck

Kathleen MHad my items stored for 18 months. Even with the U-Haul provided lock my storage unit was still broken into and items stolen. I spoke to the office staff after the first incident and they assured me nobody could access the unit but the fact is my unit was accessed. The doors need better weatherproofing to protect items from dust and debris. Otherwise the experience was satisfactory.

Gregory S | Overall ExperienceWhen we got this unit it was supposed to be heated in temp controlled at the time. There were things that were broken so they had a heater fan in there and also the code on the door didn't work. The door was broken and so if we needed to have access we had to wait until the place was open and there was staff available. Then the rates kept changing more and more often yet with little improvement to the facility and then upon move out, someone had blocked the entrance to our unit with the U-Haul truck and nobody had access to the keys so that we could move the vehicle so that we could move our things out with ease. We couldn't even put the vehicle into neutral and push it out of the way as we tried with the manager and other staff so then we had to maneuver around this truck that was parked maybe 23 feet away from the door blocking the entire door. We moved out 12 days early Considering all of the issues that have occurred. You would think that one would be offering to compensate us for all of these headaches, but no, you guys don't operate like that. You're more interrupting customers off first of all U-Haul needs to have a Canadian outlet because you falsely mislead customers with your 19.95 a day and then next thing you know it's 150- $300 later. Your system is in miles yet we are in Canada. We do not go by miles and therefore it tricks customers you guys are not clear and concise about charges and then the amount changed when you go to pay out when you rent a vehicle from here I paid up the full amount. Next thing you know I got another bill for $75. I tried to dispute it. That bill went from $75 to 150 then you guys send me to collections for $44, which is not even an amount that was old like this company is shady as shady can be.

Montana M | Overall ExperienceWe looked at the hours online and it said the office was open until 7pm, as we were scheduled to arrive around 6:40pm, we called ahead to ensure our unloading that evening would be possible. We spoke to someone from U-haul on the phone (we called the number listed for this location) who assured us that although the office closed at 7pm, as long as we had our paper work done by 7, we would have access to unload until 10pm. Unfortunately on our arrival we were advised this was not the case, as apparently a door was broken, making unloading after the office was closed impossible. We were told this was well posted, but did not see any signage and clearly this was not communicated to the U-Haul representatives answering the phone. After explaining our situation multiple times, they did finally allow us to unload and we are grateful that one of the employees was willing to stay 30 minutes late to facilitate this. However, as we went to unload, there were multiple trailers in front of the door we needed to access to unload and then the lights in the building we were unloading into were turned off mid way through our time, both of these making our unloading experience that much more difficult.

My entire locker was gone through and destroyed and even though there’s a camera pointing directly at my locker “there was no footage” absolutely ridiculous place to think your items are safe when they certainly aren’t.

Water (likely from big storms) leaked through the roof of the unit and damaged some boxes.

I booked a truck and storage 32 days in advance for my move from Winnipeg to Edmonton. 2 days before I'm supposed to pick up my truck I get a call that the location changed. It was 400 meters from where I work and that is the way I wanted it, they moved it 6km away, not a huge deal , until they called me the day before I'm picking up the truck and moved it to Winnipeg beach, 80km away! 160km round trip !! They did discount the truck but to me that did not matter, I had to scramble like crazy to get this done and I'm moving 1300km. Did not need that stress but I got it done. So now when I get to Edmonton where my locker was booked more then a month in advance, they don't have my locker. They gave me a smaller one and said I have to be out in 3 weeks because someone has it booked.. where was mine ? Now this is where it gets really good. Could not fit all my stuff in there , had a $400 bookcase stolen . Found that out when I went to load with my movers . Now my storage is blocked by one of thier trailers, the woman working said I should have phoned first before moving my stuff !! It's my stuff way should I have to give notice? She was rude , running around like she had no idea what she was doing. She cost me an extra hour of move time because they had to walk my stuff an extra 40 feet because she couldn't move the trailer for me . Rudest person I've ever delt with anywhere. She cost me $180 because of her disorganization. Just so rude and ignorant. She doesn't deserve that position, I'd be fired if I did my job the way she did. Walking around hollering at people. Worst experience ever and I've done this move 5 times now. This one I will never forget. Do not ever go to uhaul, South side Edmonton, 51 ave . Be warned now .

Clean ish. What do you mean by clean? The staff was super good. Great people.
