Excellent experience with Eric and Diane ( facility manager). They were very helpful and friendly. Setting up our one way to Minneapolis went flawlessly. Trailer pick up went very well!

The location in Spring Grove is very nice and has a small town personality. The trailer was perfect, I love the open 6 x 12’ trailer. It pulls straight and rides smooth.

When you do the check in on the mobile app this location should direct people on how to get to the trucks and keys behind the lock fence after hours. I waisted one hour trying to talk to customer service who cut me off and I had to call back and wait again until someone could tell me where and what I was supposed to do. It held up the moving as I had helpers waiting for me.

Everything went above & beyond what one would expect when reserving by phone, truck was ready for us by the office on the day of, the office staff couldn’t have been nicer, we returned the truck before 4:30p & had filled the gas tank per contract - all went well!

The truck needs some suspension attention. The steering feels like the tires are low when they are not.

Drop off was in front of a locked gate and it wasn’t clear where to leave the truck. Would not recommend for someone dropping off after hours because it was very dark and confusing.

Not being allowed to use dumpster and charging me $150 for using it is what ticked me off! It was better when a privately owned facility.

The place is a dump. Driveway falling apart, water in deep puddles, many patches of gravel creating dust, hard to pack car around the puddles. Worker all very nice. Price doubled since I moved in.

The computer was broken, or not, and kept charging me for insurance that I did not want. Spent way too much time getting the truck. The truck was a piece of crap. It got the job done but I will never be renting a from the Johnsburg U-Haul facility again!

They raised my rent every year that I was there. $99-$109-$119-$129. They were the best deal when I signed up but now they are no better than others and higher than some in the area. Office was often closed even during business hours. Then they sold off to new owners and all they have done is raise rent raise rent. Haven’t fixed the deteriorating asphalt or poor lighting. Also I moved out on the 8th and no prorated refund for the balance of the month. But they can rent my spot out starting today. I thought that was greedy. I won’t go back if I need storage space in the future.

The employee that was working at the time not only started the truck for us on a very cold day ahead of our arrival but she also cleaner the snow off for us. Super great customer service and overall great experience.

The trailer was old but still useable. The roll-up door did not work very well and the left rear tail light was barely visible. Other than that it trailed nicely and got me from point A to point B without issue.

I wouldn’t change a thing. When I arrived, my truck was pulled up to the office. Check-out was very fast. When I returned the truck, I was met at the gate and checked back in rapidly. Very efficient and top-notch U-Haul dealership.

I was told within the 1st week of U-Hall taking over this facility that the ceiling in my unit would be totally fixed to alleviate any future water damage to my items. THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!! Every time it rained, the unit flooded in the corner.

The trailer was really banged up and damaged. One of the rear exterior hooks was unusable. And I could return after hours. Offer the gate code to rent it’s to return trailers after hours.

The 6x12 open trailer was perfect, and I love the drop and tow - that connects to my hitch. Along with the heavy duty clip on safety cables. The Spring Grove U-Haul is a smaller facility, so I was in and out. The manager Deanna, made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you very much.

Had to park truck, walk into office to get clerk to open gate, then go back to truck to drive it in. Seems like this process could be done better.

They returned my u-haul hours after i returned it, resulting in charging me with extra charges. They did end up refunding me but i had to make multiple calls and wait for management to investigate the time of return for the u-haul i used.

Utilize more signage. Place next door sign on first door to let you know to use the next one and a sign is needed when you pull out of the facility to pull close to the gate to activate the automatic opener.

Very disappointed with 3 rent increases in less than a year, only changing locks & putting bigger numbers on units & leaving big pot holes. Also would like to point out the lock froze and for 2 months couldn’t get my Christmas presents out and the office new. Was not happy and no compensation for no access to the unit.

There is no lighting, the hours was bad there wasn't anyone in the office after one most of the time and now it's open 24-7 and it was never like that. At times it was hard to get in the gate. Staff was excellent the girls would be ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
