I worked with Jamie and her staff over the weekend. Checking out and receiving my truck rental and renting my storage unit was a breeze worked with her assistant general manager young man very polite nice patient had a small hiccup over the weekend. Let Jamie know about it on Monday when I went to return my truck. She got me all set and together definitely recommend her facility to friends and family

Katrina HBald tires in the snow is not a good mix and puts customers at risk. Also, they didn’t send the text to take pictures before we left the lot until after I had already pulled away, I still took pictures and videos but just wanted to put that out there.

We were very impressed with her cool and calm demeanor as she worked her way through a full store of people, assisting them with their requests while training several people at the same time. She was very professional and kept a warm smile on her face even when some customers acted rude and entitled. This young lady has strong customer service and management skills. Uhaul would be wise to promote her and treat her well. Thank you, Jamie for your positive attitude. You make the world a better place!

CHRISTINE AI was driving my truck for 5 days and was hoping for a smooth drop off and unloading. But that was further from the truth when dropping off front counter girl may have been new and not fully trained. Manager did help out but she was concerned about a meeting she was going to be late too. She pointed out where my storage was like I have been there before. Now in my truck trying to locate where I can pull my truck in. After driving around getting lost a maintained worker pointed me in the right direction. Then I entered in the wrong door my storage unit was not even close to where my truck was. Front end girl did show me where the next location I can use. However, tons of uhauls trucks and coworker's cars were parked in the area. The manager did help to clean the area up. After being there hour, I finally was able to unload my truck and Trailor. Was told use the key card to open the door. Was never told you need to use the card to unlock then swipe again at the other machine to active the door to open. Then every time you need to use the card again to keep opening the door. I understand it is due to safety. As I was unloading a worker who was a big smoker would keep walking by the area unloading my truck and blowing out the smoke. I let it be the first time. He came back another time I requested please do not smoke by the doors I have medical issue with smoke. He was not happy and kept on smoking. Using this company truth has been a bad experience. If it was not for the special offer for month off I would unload my stuff at another storage unit. Then come back and drop off my Trailor. Spending $770 total is a lot of money. I figured things would run smoother.
THOMAS RI would just make sure that all employees have the same attitude. Jamie has been really attentive, nice and she seems happy all the time so It would be great if all the employees share the same attitude.
KEVIN MThe Ubox itself is a nice product, but everything else about this transaction was awful. On both the shipping end and the receiving end, there was confusion about the pickup, repeat communications with different people, each unfamiliar with the information in the order or what was already discussed with the prior person. Also, the website shows a forklift and states that the box can be placed on any flat surface, but the actual delivery/pickup vehicles were big trucks towing a trailer and had very limited maneuverability. On the shipping end, the delivery truck driver had none of the provided information and backed through the landscaping and ended up leaving the box short of the agreed-to location. The shipping end pickup vehicle was another large truck with a tow hook that was at the wrong height but we fortunately had strong men there to help lift the Ubox trailer onto the hook. The delivery date was scheduled missed without explanation, and then rescheduled and missed again, for several days. The scheduled and confirmed empty Ubox pickup was also missed and took another 4 days of endlessly communicating with local Lansing Uhaul staff and the Ubox storage facility (who don't seem to communicate and blame each other) to finally take place. Lastly, your app looks nice but apparently is not used by the many people we dealt with so it is useless. The transaction instead took place via calls and texts to/from people at multiple area codes and numbers that come up as Spam Likely. We have used Uhaul many times, but this experience was huge disappointment. John
John VJamie and her team were very friendly and accommodating. I loved the aesthetics of the waiting area and the cleanliness. I really wish that they had the drive up units. They did everything right for me even when your competitors skewed me over on the unit accessibility. I will definitely use this location again. Gratitude.
CAMEL JNothing, even when I had an issue it was resolved promptly and given the attention it needed. EVERY person I text and talked to was helpful and friendly. The only suggestion I can make is for delivery process of pods… I was not called to be told when they would be delivered for unloading, which was frustrating to try and coordinate with a Moving Company to unload the pods. I even called multiple times to try and get a time and was never contacted until 30 minutes before they were being delivered. This was the only disappointment during the whole process. Everything else was ideal from the pricing to the U pods to the staff that helped me when I needed it. It was almost flawless except for for the pod delivery.

Stephen VAlthough their hours indicated they should have been open when we returned the trailer, the door was locked and the employee inside did not acknowledge us. We just dropped the trailer in a parking spot and used the app. That’s ok for after hours but when they’re supposed to be open (for another hour or so!), they should assist you.

TANYA SI was almost charged 50.00 over what it cost to rent online when I attempted to rent in-store. I left the location, reserved online and saved a considerable amount of money. When returning the vehicle, I was charged for mileage I didn't accrue. I only went 15 - 20 miles - and was charged for going 48 miles over. I had to prove my home was nearby - I only brought boxes from my home to a storage unit with a gas and food stop on-route. The manager said she'd remove the 34.00 up charge for my inconvenience. Hopefully, it comes through. The location is seriously understaffed - check in and check out too longer that I expected. Especially, for doing everything online beforehand. Lastly, I love the indoor storage option, but my unit was far back and I didn't necessarily feel safe. I had someone with me and still felt concerned. I gave it 3 stars only because of the employee who was super helpful and level- headed while navigating all of these inconveniences.
