Thé truck fuel tank should be full when picked up. Customer returning the truck return full. This a more fair way of assuring that we don’t over or under estimate how much fuel to leave in the vehicle

ROBERT MIt took over an hour to be processed even though I had already made a reservation online. I believe I had a new attendant however she had not been trained properly. And then we were sent to the yard to fetch our own trailer that was between other trailers. After 15 minutes of struggle another attendant came out. After plugging in trailer and realizing one driving light was burnt attendant encourage me to just take a picture and take trailer anyways. Cannot drive with burnt light. Poor service all around.

David PMisleading costs, poor explanation, poor communication w customer, van windows were filthy on the inside and disgusting, it impaired driver visibility.
RICHARD MThe reservation and pick-up process is way too long. It has to be made more efficient. Also, not enough people working at the counter. Should always have two or three people ready to serve the public.

gursajanpreet SWas guaranteed a 20 foot truck. The gave me a 15 foot truck. Booked a hand cart for boxes. The truck did not come with the equipment I needed. The check engine light came on between Sudbury and Timmins. Uhaul charged me extra milage after I begged the clearance for more as I knew it was a long drive. Uhaul took money out of my account without authorization. Absolutely a shitshow.

Also over the phone they quoted me 250 about, in person 300, then I paid 400 because I went 20km over which seems impossible considering I knew the exact KMS for my destination.
TRISTAN SGreat location, ease of pick up/drop off. they will hitch you up and unhitch you, only suggestion is to have more front desk help available as there can be a wait.

Mathew Ji was in a pickle. my car broke down, all the vehicle rental agencies (i called 12) in sudbury had no vehicles to rent. i also live 9 hours away, and i had my dog with me. i had no way to get home, and my vehicle (not the u-haul) had to be towed to toronto in order to get fixed. (the ford dealerships in sudbury were also booked up and would not even look at it for 3 weeks) u-haul provided me with a vehicle in sudbusry for 4 days while i figured out the logistics… and then found a way for me to take another one way to toro toronto (so my dog and i could get to Toronto and then find passage there back to windsor. the u-haul team went out of their way to help me. i was so touched with how they went the xtra mile. honestly i so t know what i would have done without their help. a big grateful thank you

dan tEntrance to location is a.busy and is severely rough making even more difficult. I returned equipment late and got charged extra day witch is fine but then another fine to compensate some that had rented the trailer I had witch id be fine with but location had many of those trailer and I don't belive that they have rented them all out.just try to.make an buck...thats is just my opinion on this matter.
DENIS VThe vehicle was fine but I find an issue w inspections being done without customer in attendance prior to pick up and then doing it w customer ar drop off. Too much opportunity to put blame on customer for any damage or defects. Employee also stated vehicle was in gold condition and everything i needed was with the vehicle. Did not come out and verify. I got to location only to find dolly I rented amd they confirmed was not in vehicle. When called I was told it was y job to look for it amd get it...after being told it was w the vehicle. Very very disappointed
D HMy issue overall was i had to travel to pick up truck. No dollies and took over 1/2 an hour to get gas cap off. Tightened so tight needed wrench to remove and strong hands. Not pleased with rental.

JOHN BThe store opened at 8. I booked online to make sure I would be super quick in and out. I was there at 7:55 to make sure I was first in line. No staff showed up until almost 8:15. It took them forever to get the doors open. Then when I got there they still made me go through the entire process even though I prebooked. It took forever and I was late to my next meeting. The location seems very disorganized. and staff are not knowledgeable or otherwise don't care. Big contrast from the first time I went by a few weeks ago and had a helpful staff.

RITESH YVehicle had wrong mileage and wrong fuel reading. It was also not very clean in either passenger nor cargo areas. During pickup, it was a fairly long wait as there was only one person working despite it being midday on a Tuesday. Upon returning the vehicle, I went inside to find the worker on the phone. After several minutes he finished his phone call and I stepped up and told him I was just returning a van. He told me he could help me in just a moment, and then proceeded to make another phone call that took another 15 minutes. (During which another worker came in and then immediately disappeared into the back.) Finally, he finished that phone call and then said okay I can help you now I just need to grab my phone. He also then went into the back for another few minutes. When he came back he hopped on a little motorized scooter thing and zoomed out of the store without a word. Not entirely sure what the rush was because I still had the keys and I found him outside waiting by the vehicle for them. This is a large uhaul location with plenty of rental vehicles and more, it's certainly the most equipped location I've seen in town. However, the service is abysmal. The workers clearly couldn't care less. I'm not coming back here.

MARK MWe picked up a car hauler trailer. We drove 30 minutes from pickup and we had a blown tire. Obviously no one checked this unit. Imagine on the highway towed by a motorhome and this happens. Scary situation. We called u-haul for help. It took almost two hours for someone to arrive. This is bullshit. So I guess people at this site don’t care. There was only one person working and he’s running around on some kind of electric scooter like a chicken with its head cut off. What a joke. The people at the drop off were fantastic. Not new Canadians like the other place
Jean GOverall great experience with U haul. The rental truck I got was very new. No troubles with the equipment I rented. Call centre's were helpful. The app makes things easier than having lot of paperwork. Having lot of places to get or return an equipment even after hours is a very good service from U haul. The employees in U haul is very helpful need to mention Paras and Karan in Sudbury U- haul moving and storage. Definitely will use U haul again.
WARNAKA WDriver door was hard to close at first. Sun visor was loose and had to be adjusted a few times. Distance charges are high, $1 per km, besides having to replace the gas used. Seems like I was paying twice for the same thing

Then finally when all the paperwork was done, I was told the trailer would be out there.....I said...where out there?! Then it took another 10 mins to have someone come and connect the trailer. Wasted 40-45 mins off my rental. Terrible experience
MICHEL CVehicles did not pass the inspection checks went through 4 different vehicles before being given one that doesn’t have something wrong with it, and didn’t even end up with the 10 foot that I had originally rented due to them all being in poor condition. I was also charged more then I was supposed to be for the rental.
OLIVIA RA minimum of a 3rd staff member on shift a would be more efficient increased worflow as line ups at sudbury location seems to be common place. Other than that it was a decent experience.

THINESHAN PYou need to put more personnel to attend to customers. The lady at the front desk did everything, received customers, checked the trailers and numbers, helped to connect them, went back to the desk, and the line of customers was getting longer and longer. She tried to do her best, but believe me, you can't manage all that job well if you have just one person.

Don SI feel manipulated and abused for respecting something that no longer exists as a viable service. For what I asked and then what I received is nothing but greed being given permission to thrive. My needs were not met. Joy the Way, eh?

PETER HStaff member at Sudbury location was very rude to my partner and I upon pickup of our truck when I raised a valid safety concern regarding the road worthiness of the rental. He also was constantly on his phone and the process took forever, no respect for my time at all. I’m not happy at all about the experience I had or the vehicle I was provided. I would never do business at this location again, and strongly suggest to others to find alternative solutions

RYAN DIn the last two rentals I have made at this location I have been having problems with the quality and maintenance of the utility trailer specially the tires, in my last trip one of the tire blew off almost causing me an accident and delaying my trip for hours due to the tire
DYLER SThere was only one worker working. First off, that's a health and safety violation. That day, the temperature was high and the worker really pushing himself. The system was also being problematic. While returning my rental, the worker could not issue me a proper refund. It took over 20 minutes and he gave up. He went to the back and retrieved money to process my return. There was no sales slip and I'm 100% sure that I did not receive the proper refund amount.
DAVID SAsked for an email of the final receipt. Unhappy that I now have to go back to the company to get a final receipt.
