Truck was not cleaned there was wet paint still spilled on the floor and smelled like rotten garbage and shit. It was awful Next time maybe spray and actually ensure vehicles are suitable to move personal items

The guy at the front desk was hounding me to hire his moving i said no 8 times looking onto a lawyer
TYLER MI got the uhaul with no gas in it, the low fuel warning was on and was told I’d be charged if I didn’t bring it back at quarter tank. The back of the uhaul was dirty and look like there was blood all splattered on the wall. Front desk was not helpful and told me to go find someone in the parking lot for help and I walked around twice and there was no one. Overall a horrible experience!

MARCEL FTruck had multiple issues. Doors were hard to open and close. Side view mirrors were broken. Lock did not have right key to lock back door/shutter. Booked 2 appliance dollies - did not recieve them when getting keys. Was told does not matter if I book them and that I can go reserve one at a different location.
SOPHIA CWhen asked to take photos of the truck before leaving i never thought to get low and deeply inspect the bumpers. when i came back after having the truck for a few short hours (i moved one street over) they said we hit the front bumper to the point of it almost falling off. We were confused because we didnt, but we noticed the front bumper had been zip-tied from underneath. We told him we didnt zip tie the bumper so it obviouslly wasnt us but he argued and insisted it would have a sticker on it if it happened before us. luckily we continued to argue long enough that his colleague came and said "oh yeah, that was from the people this morning and i forgot to sticker it". So i almost paid for their mistaken. Even then he didnt apologize or let us go, he said he will "talk to his manager and call me if i owe them money". As a young woman this honestly felt so helpless and almost like a scam. i was so shocked and was begging him to pull up the parking lot security camera so we can zoom in on the truck and prove it was like that when i left. A warning to future people to get on their hands and knees and fully inspect under the truck, which i never wouldve thought to do prior.

Annette cI rented a 10' truck from this location, for 2 days. On the way back to drop the truck off (13 hours ahead of schedule), the metal on the back of the truck (metal piece that the hasp latches into to keep it shut) let go 4 times, and the door opened wide. Luckily there wasn't a load in the box at the time. If there had been, or god forbid, it had happened while it was completely full, it could have killed someone. This locations equipment was not checked over by an employee when I picked it up (like they are supposed to - a walk around with the client). Very poorly managed. Not to mention, my receipt has extra charges on it, and the date stamp it listed as returned is false, stating I returned it the morning I was supposed to, but late by 45 minutes. I rate this location 1/10. If the issues listed, and that ive emailed about are addressed, I will look into changing that rating. But as it stands, I am not impressed at all.

Larry LThis location is under staffed ALL THE TIME. The phone is ringing non stop. The lines are long. There is only one customer service representative. The same representative has to go out and help the current customer hook up the trailer while there is a long line up and the phone is ringing nonstop because THERE IS ONLY ON REPRESENTATIVE in the WHOLE STORE.
LESLIE Shooked up to 5 trailers before we found one that actually had working lights. All the trailers were full of snow and we had to shovel out ourselves. Truck we rented had almost no fuel. Outside area was 6 inches deep of mud. Employees had almost no idea what was going on. This used to be a great location, not sure what happened.
Ryan PHave more than one person working, clean the vehicles ( i havnt been in a vehicle that dirty in years) Computers down when I tried to return it and because only 1 person working no one did a walk around. I did a walk around was perfect but when I picked it up tire pressure light was on I checked all tires they where all equal ( within 5 lbs) i drove transport 40 plus years and city bus never damaged a vehicle then they say I damaged this is know I didn't it better be resolved!!! I have pictures I sent to your email!!

DHAIRY SMy truck wasn't in lot. After asking for help finding it, the attendant walked around the lot then asked me to give back keys I never received. She repeatedly asked if I picked up the truck, insisted I give back keys at least twice Got upset with me when I raised my voice out of frustration after she called me someone else's name and basically accused me of having picked up the truck already. I angrily corrected her and finally got the assistance I should have received at the beginning. Terrible experience.

GEORGE NBooked a van for pick up at 4:00 AM . Got to pick it up and the keys were not available. I was told to check key compartment 14 on the website and there’s only 3 key compartments at the location. Called support and spent over 30mins figuring this out and no help was provided. Had to go back when the shop was open at 7AM to get another van cos even the staff couldn’t find the keys to the van that was scheduled for me. It was a really poor experience because I was stuck in the freezing cold while trying to figure this out.
VICTOR II arrived at 805am to pick up a trailer I'd reserved several weeks prior. I dod not leave with the trailer until 943am. One person working on April 1. I was 4th in line when I arrived. There is no reason I can imagine of, that they could not have one other person there. Very very poor customer service.

RICHARD TThis was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a rental company. We booked our U-Haul a full week in advance, yet our pickup location was changed multiple times. The location we originally chose was changed, and then changed again, leaving us farther from both locations and adding unnecessary stress and travel. We were also told we would be prepaying for 400 km, but instead were charged for 400 miles, which is a major and unacceptable billing error. On top of that, we were forced to return the truck to the original warehouse location, which was 100 km away, even though that was NOT the location we selected. We were told it “had to go back there,” which added even more mileage and cost. It honestly felt like the system was set up to increase our total charges. When we picked up the truck, it was in completely unacceptable condition, covered in snow and ice and not properly prepared. This made it not only frustrating, but dangerous. Things got even worse during the move. We ended up stuck at our new property for hours, and on our second trip discovered the tire was flat and missing the air valve cap. Roadside assistance had to be called, and while the mechanic who came was great, they were sent from over an hour away, causing major delays. Trying to get help was just as bad. We attempted to contact support and were ghosted twice through the chat, with no real assistance provided. When we went to the Sudbury main location in person, the staff were rude for no reason, which only added to the frustration. We also cleaned the truck better than how we received it, expecting the discount that is often mentioned, but nothing was applied. We even returned the truck 13 hours earlier than scheduled, and received no credit or adjustment. After ALL of this, we were still charged over $1200, which is completely unreasonable for the level of service and the condition of the vehicle we received. For that kind of cost, you expect a safe, properly maintained vehicle and basic customer service. We got neither. I would not recommend U-Haul based on this experience.
TYLER GTook about an hour to get my rental. I arrived near on time, with no one else waiting. The first truck they gave me was blocked in. The second truck was frozen shut. They ended up pouring hot water to un freeze it. Why wouldn't they have done that before? This caused me to be late with my movers....

GEORGE NThe vehicle was not clean. I could barely see out the front windshield. The inside of the windshield was very dirty. A safety hazard. The interior was not clean. ,89 cents a km?? This is where it hurts me the most. If I had a credit card, I would rent a car with unlimited mileage. This is the only reason why I used U-Haul I waited at the desk at least 15 minutes before anyone showed up. I was already 2 hours late from the time of when I wanted to leave. This was not a moving trip. I used U-Haul because they accept visa debit cards. In town moving only? Yes. Not as a rental vehicle. Would I recommend them? Only as a one way move that’s it. In town only. At .89 cents a km? That stung me the most.

SHAON PMade a reservation for a truck and appliance dolly and there was no appliance dolly. What is the point of a reservation if the items you reserve are not there? I showed up only to find that it was none available, had i been informed prior to this I would have had the reservation amended prior and not take almost an hour to do so on the day of the move. Also I could have arranged for rental of the dolly at an alternative place.

BROU KThe trailer was full of snow. It was in the snow, and I had to back my vehicle up to it to hook up. My vehicle was damaged while doing this, as my skid plate was torn off. The rental should've been pulled out for me and been placed on a plowed area.
TIMMY MThe sales associate was inept and had no idea how to read a gas gauge. I put more gas in the vehicle before retiring it than there was when I picked it up. I will NEVER use U-HAUL again and I will make sure my friends, families and followers know it!!

Shaun MAppreciated the overall affordability of the rental, however, there were very little (one or none) attendants serving customers at your location during both pick-up and drop-off, the first rental truck had low tire pressure, and directions were very unclear regarding drop-off, especially after-hours.
CHELSEA STruck could have been cleaner and some slight damage to outside of truck. Overall unit ran well and worked for what we needed. We would use this location again.

TYLER MBetter advertising they say $19:95 a day however they do not say anything else. Plus at first they said I would get $125 back. I only got $18 plus I got the truck back the same day. It cost me over $300 dollars

I got the vehicle 2.5 hours late because of the poor maintenance of the truck..The truck has bad battery and the moving turned into a headache for me because truck failed to start and then I call the road side assistance…again I lost my three hours… The guys who worked on that day 31-1-2026 morning, very bad people..they don’t know what is customer service and how to serve customers in a good way… Anyway very very bad experience…..never go for uhaul again and never recommend any of my friends…. For what happened to me u guys are responsible to give a compensation because u guys messed up my moving… Very very very bad
