The vehicle was clean, but there were some cockroaches in it. If cockroaches enter the boxes one is transporting, they can move and infect a person's new home. The staff were excellent and super professional. Just keep in mind that the U-Haul app does not work and that no one answers the U-Haul customer service phone number. It has nothing to do with the location, but with U-Haul, and I wanted to mention it.

BART SI have used this location many times and always was happy, that's why I went their when I ordered my truck on line. Actually, I may be more unhappy with the online process than the location. After I ordered the truck my son who is a jr. text me he got a conformation for the rental. Since he has my name, I didn't think too much about it. When I went to the location. There was only one person and of course I had to wait. Twenty minutes or so went by and still waiting. Finally, I got to the lady. Now the problem started. The reservation was at another Clearwater location. My son or I never used this location. The lady I was dealing with was frazzled after a while. I wasn't happy. She got mad at me and said she had to walk away, and she did. Another guy came in from outside and helped me. We had to cancel that original reservation and make a new one. From there everything went great. The funny thing is I only stopped by the location to let them know I would be an hour late to pick up the original truck I ordered online. twenty minutes or so went by and still waiting.
JEFFREY RThe truck was relatively new with only 14k miles but the cab was filthy! I had to clean it before l felt comfortable driving it. Also, the previous renter evidently smoked non stop. The truck reeked and I had to use an A/C vent air freshener to try and minimize the stench. I have used U Haul many times and never had such a poorly maintained vehicle.

Chuck REverybody was EXCELLENT, professional, happy, and informative. I would have given location a 5 star too, BUT I got gouged on my bill. I said I contracted to drive 20 miles, but only drove 11. Did not fill up to level I left location with, and expected to pay $4.50/gallon. My Bill said they filled up 4 gallons and charged me $20 so, instead of getting credited $9 back on Bill, I was charged $10 additional with no milage adjustment.

The storage unit itself did not have a light. The light came from hall lights. Would definitely use this facility again if I had a storage need. Very convenient. Very secure. The keypad check in process was easy if you remember your code. You must enter your code a second time when leaving. Great way to track who comes and leaves the facility

TYLER DPro’s: Markel and Manny were incredible. Truly the heart of this company and the hardest workers ive ever seen. They did the job incredibly fast. I live on the 7th floor and the elevator was broken, so they moved my entire apartment up 7 floors. Con’s: initial quote for 2 hours of work for 2 people was a total of $210, which i agreed to. I paid the $210, and then during the service (while markel and manny were unloading the cargo van and bringing everything up to my apartment) i get a call from the manager or owner saying i owe an additional $300 dollars for the fact that the elevator was broken and my apartment being on the 7th floor. He said it was because of the extra time it would take for the move, but the entire job was completed and under two hours, so there was no extra time involved only extra effort. It’s a pretty shady practice in custom if you ask me, but that’s an ownership problem. The workers that work for the company are great. This company should do better and not throw unexpected charges at their customers. Bad ownership great workers.

Some liquid was present at some point in the center of the storage locker and several boxes in that region on the floor absorbed that liquid. No idea what it was, but thankfully nothing got damaged apart from musky smelling clothes in some of those boxes. TV box seeped some of that liquid but no damage to the item inside the box. Otherwise clean, well maintained, climate controlled storage for a reasonable price. A couple small negatives were, (1) we ended lease on the 21st and received no pro-rated refund for the remainder of the month; and (2) we couldn't access the storage before and after hurricane Milton although we desperately needed to. We understand that security is more important than convenience so we appreciate the service after all is said and done.

I always thought that I would be notified if there was an increase in fees and the signs still reflected $129 that I originally paid for. when I asked another staff member on another visit, they guessed that it was for insurance purposes and I explained that I had my own insurance and didn’t understand it had a charge. They didn't even have it in the system that I picked up the truck, somehow my reservation for my car hauler was canceled so I wasted gas $ n time going to uhaul twice just to be told they messed up my reservation. Had to get someone else to get the car hauler for me. I researched everything I could n asked several employees at the store if I needed the boards to load my car. 4 different employees said no when they saw my car in person so when I tried to load my car it broke a couple things off of my BMW 335 I convertible & now is in the shop & isn't drivable now. They messed up the drop off n storage unit. They were supposed to be at the same place & I called n double checked. They said it was correct. They said my storage unit was set up. It wasn't. So I called n got that fixed. But when I showed up the drop off n the storage unit were in 2 separate locations n the storage unit wasn't set up either so I had to do that again as well. I'm not exaggerating when I say I was on the phone w uhaul for 2 hrs a day for a week. & bc of the time I wasted trying to get everything fixed I couldn't get the help that I had set up to move so I had to do everything by myself & now have a sprained wrist & an infected wound on my leg along w having fibromayalgia. My o ly complaint was that I got locked out of my unit because my lock wasn't "approved" noone went over the lock policy with me when I checked in so I used the lock I had "padlock style" turned out to be an easy quick fix. The manager on duty gave me the correct lock without charge and let me in all within 5 minutes.

The counter person we dealt with was Brianna and she was amazing in her customer service skills and willingness to make sure the customer gets what they need. I would recommend considering using this facility even if it meant traveling a short distance, THEY ARE THAT GREAT!
