Amazing staff at this location! This team was trained in old school customer service. The entire staff is properly trained and they all understand the importance of an attentive, look you in the eyes, friendly, generous, and helpful attitude. Michael Gerber (author of The E-Myth) would be proud of this group and could easily feature them in an unscripted video case study on how an enterprise should operate. Without fail, every staff member projected a positive, friendly, helpful, and empathetic attitude with every contact. By phone and in person I could feel the genuine care and just knew they were the real deal. If someone said they were going to do something, they did it. Above and beyond are words I could use to describe my experience but it’s almost unbelievably so much more than that. The word synergy means that the sum of the parts are greater than the whole. Synergy applies to the incredible people and business managed by Steve at the Sunset Point and US19 U-Haul location. I read most of the negative reviews and several of the positive ones. All I can say is that even the 1-star reviews state that even though there were unexpected issues with some aspect of their experience, the people working the problem at Sunset Point and US19 were as helpful and supportive as the policies they were bound by would allow and sometimes more. I suspect that this facility actually has a near perfect 5-star rating because the reviews that mentioned technology, billing, or other factors that are the result of corporate governance, systems, policies and procedures shouldn’t be reflected on the location but instead on the corporate operation. The very few issues that can be attributed to this store are issues they own and suspect they’ve already been addressed and resolved with no further occurrences. The remaining issues can be chalked up to miscommunication, lack of understanding (ie. contract interpretation on the part of the customer), and mischaracterization of the facts as they really happened. These are good people and they should be celebrated! Bravo 👏
