Some fat guy claimed he worked for U-Haul and tried to “repo” Van. No identity was backed up by him. For all I know he could have been a serial rapist. He then called cops without talking to me resulting in a mother living paycheck to paycheck to be served with eviction notice. Scumbag behavior. Hope he burns in hell.

JAMES HThe 5x8 trailer that I reserved had a bad coupler on it. It would not lock onto the trailer ball. So I had to upgrade to the next size up which worked great. Problem is that I had gotten charged for the upgrade. This upgrade was not by my choice, it was due to a faulty coupler on the trailer that I reserved. Thank you Gregory J. Sander 716-743–5460
GREGORY SMake sure the accessory items ordered are in the rented vehicle. Had to make a 2nd trip because the dolly ordered wasn't in the trailer. Not a location issue but company issue.. make it possible to speak to the local office. Spending time on hold through your automated system is very disappointing. I couldn't even call the office that made the mistake.

DEREK BNational computer system went down had to complete nearly all paperwork again for the rental even though it was done for the reservation online. I was told this happens somewhat frequently when there are a lot of weekend rentals. The guy there worked as quickly as he could and apologized for the inconvenience but completing the forms online and again in store was a bit annoying and ended up leaving about 15 minutes after my rental was scheduled. As noted above this was a national issue not an issue with this specific location. As for the truck- it was fine- i would say an 8 out of 10 it ran and it was clean, had some broken plastic around the dash, but the tire pressure monitor on the right front was not functioning and it was showing low pressure, so when I got home I first had to get the compressor out and check pressures. All were at the proper inflation so the truck was safe just had the light. Next time, if the tire pressure light is on, a heads up that all tires were checked and it was a known faulty sensor (the guy said it has been an issue when i returned the truck)- that would have saved me some time for sure.

JOSEPH LAbsolutely nothing, except considering hiring 1 or 2 more candidates to help handle equipment during peek seasons/hours. It looks like the word load can get heavy for a couple of guys. But the service with who is there was excellent.
TIMOTHY AWould be nice to be able to drop off equipment at destination location. It is a pain to have to travel back to return it.

JOHN RReserved a 9’ van for 1:00 , reservation was changed with no communication time was changed to 2:00 and van was changed to a 10’box truck . I still showed up at 1 o’clock for my 1 o’clock reservation. I was told they don’t know why I was able to reserve a van because they did not have any available and that they changed everyone’s reservations times and we’re pushing people back because too many people were showing up early. They got me in the box truck and as I was pulling out a cargo van which I originally reserved was sitting in front on the lot the cargo van was dirty in the cab. There was food and debris in the cupholders and on the floor the cargo area was clean

MICHELLE L | First ImpressionsI arrived 10-15 minutes before closing time and was greeted with attitude by the service rep (shaking his head, and sort of curt). In their defense, I get it! In fact, I'm old enough and have had my share of job experiences (good and bad) to understand. But, customer service training might be in order. Not to mention there is always opportunity in CS training -there is always room for growth. I say this because the rep(s) (with their Fkn attitude) have no clue what the customer has been through, or for that matter have yet to still go through. Moving day, sucks to begin with -nobody needs to have a rep that is being a "Richard". BTW: When I put my car in gear to leave, there was still 3 minutes to spare before "closing". U-Haul is always professional and I do appreciate the workers and their efforts to keep customers safe. My experience went well and "without a hitch" (pun intended). I just would like the rep to go easy on me (or anybody else), especially when I was technically on time. The "attitude" was completely unnecessary and a waste of time and energy for all involved...seriously. I am understanding, but life is way to short for BS of this nature...Just sayin' The situation was "Not that serious", and maybe they were irked with each other for all I know, but my experience was not normal to put it mildly.

MICHELLE LI originally requested (via phone call to your Corporate number) an appliance dollie rental at your Niagara Falls Blvd location. When I arrived they didn’t have one to rent. I then called the Kenmore Ave store and they accommodated my needs. Maybe a look at the link between that office and the store to alleviate that. In the end, the dollie worked great!

JOHN WWe had a great experience with this location for a one-night rental of a 10' truck. Pick-up was quick and easy and we had no problem returning the truck after hours (even though I screwed up with the app).
