Michael BWe had no idea U-Haul had storage, every other company advertised a low rate but forced insurance and administrative fees on you which more than doubled the rate. We were renting a trailer for our car and they gave us our first month of storage free with no contract or lease agreement. Stephanie at the Totowa location went above and beyond and even stayed later to help us unhook our trailer and made our move in practically effortless.

ADAM TVery pleased with the cleanliness of the storage facility. i like the hours that i am able to go to the facility. & i like that you can drive into the building to take the stuff out of your car- the day i moved in, it was so windy so that helped ALOT!! i was also able to rent a u haul directly from them. getting the unit & u haul took maybe 10 minutes. Both Ladies were super helpful. Pricing for the units is UNMATCHED- i came from extra space storage and i am saving $200 on the same size unit. - there are a ton of carts to use which is SO helpful & a rest room as well - unit was easy to find. There was a dumpster available for use ( i didnt use it but was offered to if i needed to ) all in all very pleasant experience, as i was moving in there was someone mopping the hallways, Love how clean everything is. i will definitely be recommending to everyone & will recommend in my review on extra space as well! Thank you again to the ladies that helped me! i was shown a "sample unit" so i could see the sizing as well as give the access card , she showed me what to do right there & then. Super easy experience, returning the u haul was just as easy.

Dean DThe store management is never clear on pricing, and they regularly charge above the $1.29 per mile for the trucks advertised on the website. They do not tell you what or why they are charging you at the counter, and only after you get your receipt do you realize the higher price. I have called about this one transaction and I am waiting to see what happens.

When I went to pick it up, the counter person never mentioned the size and I didn’t know my reservation had changed until I was outside attaching the trailer to my truck. I didn’t have time to go back to the counter to fix this error so I just accepted the smaller trailer. This made me sad.

I went to the front desk to ask, but nobody was there. Eventually, I tried to figure out from the entrance of Building B and Building C. At the second day, I found there were another customers got the same questions. We didn't know how to move our stuffs from Building A to Building B.

Only piece of feedback was the unit doors aren't sealed as much as other storage units I've had. With better seals, it reduces the risk of insects and rodents getting into the unit.

A big thank you to the manager, Nathalie Augustin, who called the company when I was overcharged almost $700 for priority shipping of two Uboxes. She was able to get the error corrected, and the price back to what I was originally quoted. She deserves a raise

The elevator was jerking at times going up. It needed to be looked at. The bathrooms were not clean enough. My unit had a bolt sticking out of the wall. Lastly when they went to the card system no one contacted me. The alarm kept going off. I went to the front to ask why is the alarm sounding. That’s when they explained the system and gave me a card?

This facility is the cleanest storage facility I have ever used. The loading dock is great for me because I rent decor for events and home staging. Unfortunately the employee whom attended us during pick up was not representative of Uhaul customer satisfaction protocols and values. Jessica Anderson was that employee whom attended me, a Moving Center General Manager. She was aggressive, rude, not very cordial, poor listener, confrontational and disregarded my information and feedback pertaining to my reservation. Her understanding of the reservation and contract did not coincide with mine understanding. While i continued to debate with Ms Anderson my son contacted your location and was able to confirm my understanding of the contract which Jessica was not understanding and acknowledging. To finish, thanks again for your service while storing our property.

Rented a 10x15 space on the 3rd floor when I got there the elevator was not working waited 2 hours for the maintenance to fix it, they never showed up they told me to come back when I got back shop was closed and I had no choice but to leave all my personal belongings out in the hallway cause I already had returned the truck I rented from them. No one ever called me back that night.
