the first truck thay gave us had blown engine,they had no more that size so we had to take a much larger one.We also couldnt get a truck in the closer town we were moving from even though there were 2 locations.
RENEE EI have no recommendations as my experience was very pleasant. The gentlemen I dealt with were very fast and efficient getting me a truck and moving blankets and the whole experience was super easy!

JOHN PWhen I rented the truck the check engine light was on and when I asked the guy if this was an issue he said no it is typical... seriously I don't think so. There were 2 chips/cracks in the windshield. The worst was when my friend and I were trying to get the back lift open it was stuck. We did manage to get it open. Then it would not pull completely down or go back up when we tried to lift it again. I called assistance and explained the problem. They said it would take 60-90 minutes to arrive. I had a guy come look at it and he said the chain or pulley was off or broken on the right. He managed to get it up so we could get another load. We didn't try to close it to drive. When I arrived to return the truck I tried to explain the issue and the same guy walks over uses his strength and manages to lift the door - when he had issues pulling it back down again he is stronger he looked at me and said yeh the cable is broken.... unbelievable. So, in short I did not get all my items from my storage to my place and when I asked if there was some refund he looked at me and walked away. In short it was not my best Uhaul experience and I have had a few.
SHANA KWe needed a truck at the spur of the moment on a Sunday so we drove down and the two young men that were working in the office were fantastic!! They were helpful and were very informative. They even helped us look something up that they didn't even need to do But kindly helped us. I highly recommend this U-Haul location and to the two young boys that were working on a Sunday, They did a great job!!! Thank you very much for your service. A+

WILLIAM JI was told that I would get an extra day due to losing a day for the flat tire but they charged me an extra day for both the trailer and truck!! I will be requesting a refund!

Robert CI was a little upset with the estimated mileage. I told the manager where I was going to and from with a max of three trips. She estimated 20 miles. The actual mileage was over sixty miles. With me not being from the area it would be important to be more accurate in the estimate. I could have saved money by making less trips.
ANDREW LWe rented an enclosed trailer and when we went lad was full of garbage, large piece of plywood we had to dispose of!
RAYMOND GWhen I called to reserve the trailer, the girls was more than willing to help and when we pick the trailer up Friday night, that gentleman is very nice as well very good to deal with thank you very much

NICOLE TMade a reservation for a 26’ turucknmonths in advance and they didn’t have anybatbtheblocation. Made me use a 20’ truck then pull a trailer. Didn’t have room for all my items. I’ll never use U-Haul again.

I previously went to the Bozeman, MT 7th Ave location and they gave me incorrect information repeatedly. They said I could use a 10' truck for auto transport. I recommend this location for those in Bozeman area.

LANCE FI was given a two-hour window from 11am-1pm. I took off for a long lunch and waited the entire two-hour window. At 1pm, I called U-Haul, and they contacted the driver, who said he would be there within an hour. In total, I ended up waiting 3 hours. If I had been given a call earlier in the day that the delivery window was being pushed back, I would have been able to adjust my time accordingly.
alan rHaving a fleet of in town only trucks is ridiculous. I had to rent a 26ft truck to get a one king sized bed frame from Bozeman to Helena
PATRICK CSydney the Manager is such a joy to deal with. She is very efficient and seems to do it all at the facility. Friendly and professional. Reservations, getting the equipment hooked up and the return of equipment is a snap!

Destiny BThey had me leave the key on the counter and then emailed me the receipt which was fine, but then they called me later on that afternoon and said that I needed to return the truck and trailer which I already had done. And told them they had already emailed me the receipt so it was a mistake on their end, but worried me I was not checked in properly. I’m going to be held responsible for a whole truck and trailer. I just think they were understaffed.

JORDAN HLocation in Montana got me set op quick made a 2k mile trip with no issues and a professional greeting and drop off in Pensacola.
ROBERT CI did not receive a dolly even though I paid for it.
JONATHAN SI only rented the trailer for 24-hours and was charged for 48-hours. I even confirmed with the guy when I dropped it off a day early than my Original reservation. Now I have to take the time to dispute the charge.

Lori V | First ImpressionsThis is probably my fault for not checking in when I arrived, but I assumed that since I did the self check in process online that I could go straight to my unit and start moving in. However, I did not know that there was a key pad where I needed to enter my code to shut the alarm off. So I accidentally set the alarm off when I opened my unit. The employee was friendly and understanding and showed me how to disarm and rearm the alarm for next time though! My biggest complaint is the lack of gutters on the units. The snow on the roof was melting and dripping down the day I planned on moving in. Everything I moved in got wet, I got wet, the floor was wet and slippery. The water was even splashing off the ground and into the entrance of the unit. I laid down a tarp and towels to reduce the water in the unit and was drying off boxes and shelves as I went, but it became too much of a hassle so I called it quits shortly after starting. This meant I had to spend a second day moving into the unit instead of just the one. Gutters would have solved this problem and made my move in experience much better. Even though the units are raised a bit off the ground, I am now worried that melting snow and/or rain will leak under the door and into my unit, especially with the weather here in Montana. I hope this problem will be resolved and gutters will be installed. I didn't catch either of their names but both the man and woman that were working on my two move in days (March 21 and 22) were fantastic. Five stars for them!

I can't stress enough how amazing this experience was. So friendly and accommodating I wish every u-haul had management and staff like this one!!
