My reservation was moved an hour and a half, which caused us issues with our traveling plans. We flew in and got an Uber to pick up the truck with it getting moved, but not being there still it was frustrating. The lady who helped us made everything work, and she was great.

Bradley HThis is a new huge facility. The employees go out of their way to service the customers. They are knowledgeable, well trained, & courteous. You should give them a proper sales office as this facility has a lot of unused real estate.

MICHAEL AEven in the midst of training two new employees, with customers in line, the always friendly manager was efficiently moving things along herself and still monitoring and assisting the new guys. I had the wrong hitch ball installed on my Jeep but staff was kind enough to provide a crescent wrench so I could change out the ball to the correct size for my rental trailer. Always a good experience there!

RICHARD PThe location did as best they could. I’m just wondering what the point of being able to reserve a truck at one location at a certain time but then dispatch changes it pretty far out of the way at the last minute? I get told that the lengths of the trailers are lot specific so you can’t get some length trailers at those lots. So then why the fuck can I reserve it? Dispatch needs to quit Fucking over their locations. Cause the locations wind up absorbing flak from pissed off people from the crap that dispatch pulls. This is the second time this has happened. Location crew did great but dispatch just made me a Ryder rented from now on. Bunch of whackass bitches

Ellis HReserved moving blankets and for the second move in three years they don’t have blankets. I was told I would receive an email with invoice when I dropped the truck off. Never received the invoice.
DONALD MThe staff at this location were superb! The only reason that the u-boxes did not make it on time is because of the weather. The amazing Driver attempted to get to us on the schedule date, but returned to the store due to safety concerns in winter conditions. That was completely understandable. The staff was always, very courteous, patient and kind. Would highly highly recommend.

Linda BAdministrative processes were quite fast which limited my waiting time. Truck was available on short notice. The only thing I would improve is better signage indicating where the rental office (red shack) is located. I had to read a small sign, printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper taped to your storage office window indicating where the rental office was. This is an easy fix. But everything else was seemingly uncomplicated and easy.
TOD DHave the truck size available or let me know ahead of time that it was not available at the initial location.

Stephen RAttendants didn’t explain anything to me and also didn’t give me the furniture pads I wanted to rent. I then called this location to take them off my reservation… and they said they would… they didn’t. Got to the drop off location and she said the furniture pads were not removed. Also said nothing about the mile limit so once I arrived at the drop off I was charged 400 extra. Horrible experience and horrible service.

KALLEN KAwful communication charged for safe move insurance we DID NOT as for can't get a straight answer from anyone . Made plans around picking up a trailer for uhaul in spokane including 2 hotel rooms only to have it canceled less than 24 hours before. Everyone you talk to just acts like they don't care and refers you to someone else. Very frustrating experience.

ryan tThe rest of my u-haul experience sucked! I could not drop off the carrier at my chosen location and was told I had to deliver it an another more than 50 miles away. I did it when u-haul offered me a $50 rebate. This was on the day before Thankgiving and I missed an appointment because of it. From now on if I rent from u-haul I will drop the rental off where I have selected and fuck you all if you don't like it. Cesar Hernandez
CESAR HThe first van I was assigned had no side mirror. The second van was quite dinged up. It was the day after a snowfall. Van was not cleared off. No brush in the van. Rear wheel drive without snow tires could not make it up small grades. Terrible way to rent vehicles in a snowy/icy location like Bozeman.

Marco PAfter I was told by another UHAL location in Bozeman that my reservation had been changed from a van to a box truck by the regional U-HAL reservation system/office & that they did not have a van , the folks at the Huffine location came through the same day, providing a van for the duration of time that I needed. They were extremely helpful throughout the entire process; from explaining the initial contract; to resolving equipment issues; and through the return process. Sydney was especially helpful and personable with all follow-through. Thank you so much for all your aisstance !

Lori V | First ImpressionsThis is probably my fault for not checking in when I arrived, but I assumed that since I did the self check in process online that I could go straight to my unit and start moving in. However, I did not know that there was a key pad where I needed to enter my code to shut the alarm off. So I accidentally set the alarm off when I opened my unit. The employee was friendly and understanding and showed me how to disarm and rearm the alarm for next time though! My biggest complaint is the lack of gutters on the units. The snow on the roof was melting and dripping down the day I planned on moving in. Everything I moved in got wet, I got wet, the floor was wet and slippery. The water was even splashing off the ground and into the entrance of the unit. I laid down a tarp and towels to reduce the water in the unit and was drying off boxes and shelves as I went, but it became too much of a hassle so I called it quits shortly after starting. This meant I had to spend a second day moving into the unit instead of just the one. Gutters would have solved this problem and made my move in experience much better. Even though the units are raised a bit off the ground, I am now worried that melting snow and/or rain will leak under the door and into my unit, especially with the weather here in Montana. I hope this problem will be resolved and gutters will be installed. I didn't catch either of their names but both the man and woman that were working on my two move in days (March 21 and 22) were fantastic. Five stars for them!

I can't stress enough how amazing this experience was. So friendly and accommodating I wish every u-haul had management and staff like this one!!
