My only complaint is that I wish there were either an option for lights to be on constantly when in a unit-or that each unit had a light. I fell while trying to turn the lights back on and ended up going to the ER with a bad open wound. The lights going off and being more difficult to motion back on each time they turn off was rough.

Considering I was moving on my own I had to walk over two miles to get there just to find out they rented the van out after I had it reserved. Won't be going there again!

DAVID EMy main concern is that it was not clear that I had to download an app in order to return the Uhaul. There are a LOT of steps in doing the online return. With that said, I feel confident that because of the pictures, I won't be charged any cleaning fees or additional 'technical' fees. The process was clear and easy to follow, if a little time consuming. During check out, it felt laborious. It took 20 minutes to do the process even though I had booked and prepaid. I was wondering why the truck wasn't in front of the building ready to go. I have checked in other places where it's less than 10 minutes. The truck was very clean and easy to drive. We are renting another truck in June to take to Texas, so I feel confident we'll have a good experience, but I will arrive early next time.
SUSAN BEverytime we had had to call U-haul and was transferred to the call center every single person has been so helpful that being said. The main reason for those calls was the u-haul app would not work well for us and the call center help with extensions and follow up questions. Thank you U-haul.

Mike MMobile check in is annoying. Specifically the having to call someone early in the morning or ever. It’s an invasion of both my and their privacy. Don’t like that part. I’m sure you can verify without it. You get a picture of the driver in real time along with the license. Enough. It’s overreach. Everything else is long but understandable.

John ROur customer service person Damean and the other gentlemen were very professional and friendly. They made a very smooth process, even though I had thought I had reserved the equipment that turned out was only getting a quote. He made me feel good and supported by quickly helping me understand the mistake and getting it resolved without making me feel dumb. There was no pressure to purchase insurance on this piece of equipment for a small local job in town. And he was just as supportive and quick to help me get equipment returned to the right place. I would definitely go here again just for the great customer service that is sometimes lacking in a lot of places with our young adult population.

JEFFREY S2/22 Assistant Manager was rude and sullen.Did not try to solve problem. We were told wrong info by a previous manager and so we misunderstood and was locked out of our unit. On another day, 2/17 I had to walk all around the office area, and outside, saying hello?? Hello?? No one was anywhere to be found. After 15 mins of waiting..this same Asst Manager walked in. Unapologetic.

Elaine D | First ImpressionsWhen I made the reservation for my 15’ truck. I initially thought I was picking it up at the Franklin Rd location. They called back and asked if I could pick it up at the 202 Fairview location in Meridian. They were going to give me $10 off. For picking it up there and returning it to a different location. The guy at that location didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Couldn’t find my reservation at first. Then told me he had to finish drying a car before he could help me. He was gone for a while. When he came back he was rude not at all helpful. I ended up just walking out. Never have I experienced such rude poor customer service. I drove to the Franklin Rd. Location in Meridian. They were much better, set up a new reservation for me. When I returned the truck, I was told the bag by the hand cart in the back was torn. I never used anything from the bag. Don’t know how it was torn. I was charged an additional $10 for the damaged bag. So not only did I experience rude customer service at the 202 Fairview location, I didn’t get the $10 off initially promised, I was charged an additional $10 for suspect damage to a bag. If I ever have a need to rent a moving truck again. I will explore options other than U-HAUL, and will pass this experience on to friends and family that maybe interested in renting and urge them to not use U-HAUL.

BRYANT FDespite several hiccups with formalizing the one-way rental having to do with the truck, the West Meridian U-Haul bent over backwards to make alternative solutions work for me, as they did, and I had a problem free pick-up of a truck at this location and drop-off in Salt Lake City. I had no problems with the truck during the drive down I84, the price and time conditions to drive the truck to Salt Lake City were generous and I will for sure West Meridian U-Haul again!

I never had to go to the rental counter, which was a great thing on a busy Saturday morning! I had the room number and access code on the app, and the free lock was in the unit as promised. This is a new and beautiful facility!

The computer malfunctioned at some point and erased all the work he had put in so we had to start from afresh. And all this is fine, if you are training, new staff inform the customers coming in that it is what you are doing. My partner missed his flight because we did not anticipate spending so long checking in for storage. Overall and awesome group of people. Very helpful and appreciate all the help today.
