Everything was excellent the customer service, the storage unit was very nice and clean, the price of renting the truck was reasonable.
JEREMIAH SGet rid of trucks when they do not meet normal expected quality. The truck I had today had 177,000 miles on it and rode terribly. It affected my wife's pacemaker and had to have her picked up and given a ride. The checkin attendant said they are usually replaced around 100,000 miles.

Kay S | First ImpressionsYou need to update the mattress dolly! Its to narrow for “todays” version of mattresses!! Myself plus 2 others unloading mattresses today had to struggle to carry them to their storage units. Luckily for the other two people they had help. But for me, a single person in a new town, I did not and was depending on the cart to assist me. I literally was so frustrated struggling with 2 queen size matresses, I had a break down as the mattress for the third time fell flat to the floor. Crying while moving is not a happy customer. Not to mention that my storage unit was in the back. Please. Train your associates to be empathetic when assigning units. A single female with a med-large unit should not be in the last 2 rows. For safety foremost. Other than that I use U-Haul for all my moves. Sadly, I’m considering using a moving company next one.

TODD PThe ubox could not be delivered because I did not have a concrete surface at my home. This was not made clear to me when I made the reservation. So the ubox went into a storage unit 20 miles away from me. I ended up having to rent a truck ($95 for 3 hours!!) And unpacking my ubox into it thrn unloading the truck at my home. Staff were defensive and sullen when I voiced my concernsxwith apparently no training in how to deal with unhappy customers. I'll never rent from Uhaul again.

Your own employees helped the criminal out by not even securing the unrented units! All alarms and door code requirements are turned off during open hours! And you want a good rating?

RICHARD RAgent didn’t even bother moving to answer questions and seemed to be unbothered or even mention the lights that were on the truck when I brought them to his attention. No pictures were taken of the truck before I picked it up meaning the location didn’t even look at it prior either. The store also said no big deal with the trailer being picked up later by friends because I would be loading the truck. Then they did take pictures of the trailer but that was it.

MARISSA WFirst location we went to was amazing. Unfortunately they didn’t have a functional auto trailer so we got sent to this one. Which was horrible. I called them first and was told to order online. When sent there they somehow added $60 to the charge and I said no this is the copy of my purchase and you need to call Paul. They started talking tradh on the location that just helped us and said they wouldn’t call and don’t like them and would just give the discount he was going to add. Overall I watched 2 different employees argue with customers. Then when driving over to load us they drive like the speeds 45-55 in the parking lot and people aren’t driving. Overall just a horrible location unfortunately with staff that seem too entitled and ignorant but enjoy their checks.
SAMANTHA CI have told multiple rental employees every time I rent a car trailer. The new ball latch on the trailer doesn't have the required security pin to insure the latch doesn't pop up from either road debre or just pressure on the latch from the ball. I provide my own when I rent the trailer so I don't loose the trailer while towing a car. Please address this safety issue so no one ends up loosing a life over a simple safety pin for the ball latch. Thank you for your time.
CHRISTOPHER HThere should be a discount for truck rentals for customers who rent storage AND pay their bill on time! I was told I could get the free month of storage for renting a truck (IF) I wanted to move from my current storage unit to another unit (what kind of bullshit is that?). Also, I'm not happy that renting a truck on the weekend is SIGNIFICANTLY more costly than on the weekdays. Why are you punishing customers who actually have a job and work all week?

COURTNEY LCustomer service needs improvement, if quoted a price they should actually do their quote I asked if there was any hidden fees they said no! There was! Price was not what was disgust. Check engine and oil light, filled the tank even know I only went 30 miles didn't have the vehicle for even an hour and yet nothing but adults with attitude.
JONATHAN GThe truck windshield and windows where very dirty. I had to clean them in 12 degree windchill before driving the truck. Also, I had to fill the gas tank. Thiese 2 things should have been done before I rented it. These 2 things took 30 minutes off my time for my busy move day. Also, Please do maintainence on the transmission. It was very slow in shifting and had very high rpm when shifting gears during normal driving acceleration.

CHARLES MThe place was clean. But there were multiple times where I could not use the key pad to sign in bc the screen was not legible. The staff was not very helpful. Only person who was, was the manager I met one day to help me with my door allowing me to lock it with out fully shut but would not open when tested. The employees I interacted with a lot made me feel like I was a bother when I would ask questions about my unit. U-Haul online was easy to use and when the keypad worked it was easy. Never had issues with the portals.

MIA TI really want to rate you higher than average because yours is a straightforward and easy service to use, but there were some hiccups that were annoying and could have easily been prevented. I think you run a good business and I’ve utilized your location twice, so obviously it wasn’t a horrible experience. Just a couple things I’d like to express that might help: 1. Tell people about the mandatory lock purchase up-front, not while ringing people up. Like I said, I’ve utilized your services before, so I knew what to expect this time. During the transaction, I asked the man at the desk twice what the total cost would be, and twice he gave me totals without any additional costs. Since you’ve done this before, I knew what to expect, but the practice of hiding a cost addition until ring-up is a bit predatory. 2. There was an oil leak in the drive-in bays and I told your staff twice about it, but it was never addressed. Then people tracked oil around or got it on their stuff. It was easily preventable and negligent. It just takes one litigious asshole to destroy a business over a slip-and-fall in oil. I was trying to help you in this respect but was dismissed.

Everything is seamless and easy to use, from the storage to the garage where you can back in and load and unload shielded from the weather, to the elevators, the well proportioned hallways and the logical layout of the floors. There is plenty of carts available for transporting your stuff between your vehicle and your storage unit. They have the usual Uhaul rentals on site, which you'd expect but you soon realize how convenient that is. My first need was a large storage unit and a trailer. I needed for a whole month, moving things in and out, and no matter what time of day I arrived, I could always back my truck and trailer into the garage and do what I needed to do on my own schedule. At one point I realized we needed to rent a moving van as well. Just walked over to the office on the corner and they took care of it. They also have a great security system and the staff is always willing to help. I definitely recommend this place.

Sometimes they were unavailable at the counter or to speak on the intercom, but they also seem short handed because everybody was busy working on other stuff when they weren’t available. The facility only had one elevator, which was really unhelpful when multiple people were trying to access their own units at the same time. It took ten minutes just to get onto the elevator the first time. When I finally got on, I got up to the third floor and found out there was someone with two kids stuck up there for half an hour. I myself was stuck on the third floor for twenty minutes trying to call the elevator because some guys on the second floor kept the door open while they were loading/unloading their stuff. I ended up calling someone, who came up and explained what was happening on the second floor. We gave them fifteen minutes and I finally got into the elevator and out of the building. I’ll never use this facility again, and I will warn anybody against using it, unless they can get storage on the ground floor. Which is a shame, because all the staff were great and otherwise it seems like a nice facility.

They had not entered in the system all my info so it looked like I had not paid my bill bit the it was their error. One time the keypad wasn't working and fortunately the inside was still open so I could get in. I had some things in my unit that the family member was only in town for 9 days so we were on a crunch time. That was frustrating and also the alarms being set off constantly

I told them after we finished packing the one unit and they said that it was too late. They rent the 10x20 as two units and I would have to unpack and rent a10x10 and could not get my money back for the second unit. It doesn't say online this is two separate units when you rent them. I think this is dishonest and deceiving. Shame on uhaul for ripping people off

We were told they were cutting off locks. The alarm was right by our unit and it was deafening! I understand uhaul needs to have security, but this made it impossible for us to work in our unit for ANY length of time. Which is the reason we moved out. Other than that it was a great experience.

I do entend to make a call as the trailer blew a tire and brakes causing an unnecessary stay in another hotel where I had to pay for my pets as that was not covered....and then we ran into rain and the truck nor the trailer were sealed so my things were all wet when I unloaded. Tried calling the after hours number on the facility for the manager and could not get an answer or a phone call back. Absolutely ridiculous. Due to move out having so many issues with not being able to get in my unit I had to rush to get moved to MN when I would have had a couple days to unload the Uhaul I rented but instead I had about 12hrs! I had to have people move the last of my things out of the unit for me because I could not be there to finish myself unless I wanted to pay for more time with the Uhaul trailer. Worst experience with a storage unit.

SABRINA A | Overall ExperienceIt's an excellent facility, everything is in tip top shape. The only real problem I have is that after a certain hours everything is closed. I think it's 10:00 p.m. You no longer have access to your storage. I prefer 24-hour access because sometimes I can't always get there during daylight hours or in the hours that you have to set. Doesn't seem like to me it would be that much extra for you to have a night person considering all the electronic security that you have you shouldn't have any issues with 24-hour facility.

The only thing I would recommend for U-haul overall is the automatic payment system, it never worked for us. I would recommend renting again and would consider it for future storage needs.

The app wasn't working so we couldn't return the truck, got charged for bringing it back after hours, and got charged for an additional day (additional charges were later reversed except for the extra days rental of the utility dolly). Rented a 20ft truck and was given a free storage unit only to discover that the free unit was 7x10x11 and wouldn't hold all of our belongings. The following day received message warning about potential future charges being assessed due to not putting all of their courtesy carts back in the holding area before leaving. All and all I'm over the whole experience and won't ever use them again.

nadyne f | First ImpressionsI tried four different times to have the U-haul return location changed to Wichita because that was where my car was and despite my efforts it remained in Anthony 54 miles away from my car an 10 miles from my home. The only reason I can see for this is either the staff isn't listening or U-haul is trying to stick people with the wrong return location charge of $300 dollars. I returned my U-haul in Anthony an rented it again an still I was stuck with Anthony as my return location despite me telling them that I needed to return the U-haul in Wichita because that was were my car was!! I see that as trying to rip me off or the staff at U-haul just doesn't listen.
