WILFREDO HMy experience today was one of absolute delight! Russ was SO helpful and Patient!!! I had a problem with my payment because I forgot I placed a maximum amount my debit card could be allowed per day in case of identity fraud. Russell was IMMENSELY patient and kind!!!!! It took almost an hour to sort out everything, but during the wait, he spoke with me and my daughter and reassured us that it was no problem :-) I've never had as good of an experience with U-Haul in my 64 years of using U-Haul!!! Now that's saying something!!! 😃

It seems unfair to pay for days that weren’t used and in all likelihood the unit has been rented to the next customer.

COLLEEN WThe issue was when I went to my original pick up location the person there didn't have the key nor I was able do it remotely with my phone because it wasn't set up this way. I was told to go to this other location 231 Murdy to pick up the rental. When I get home the dolly wasn't inside the truck. I had to go back and pick it up. When I'm trying to return the rental the location I was told to take it to originally was in Chrysler Ave in schenectady NY 12303. There was a lady with the door closed nodding off with the door lock obviously on drugs. I couldn't returned the rental there I had to drive to 2516 Hamburg street Schenectady NY12303. To said I wasn't please with the entire experience is an understatement..

VANESSA GOnly thing I would change is the access to the heated units… when moving you never know where half of your stuff is so sometimes you realize you left something you needed for work the next day in the unit. It is convenient that it opens at 5 am to you have plenty of time to get to the unit early but access until midnight would be best in my non expert opinion. Your staff at the Wilkes barre township location were OUTSTANDING!! Very prepared and helpful. Organized and swift their service and explanations of all the information being presented.

estanisla dI was promised a date of Friday 12/20 and they did not get delivered to the storage unit on that date. I paid guys to u load the pod the next day. One of the guys showed up at 10ish am and said the containers were not there. I had to pay him OT when the containers finally showed up Why cannot UHaul deliver anything as promised(under contract) Years ago my son went to order a pull behind to move from WA to SC and when he arrived they did not have it available for him. He had to drive an hour away to get one. I will definately think hard about when it is time to move the rest of my stuff down to SC.

KATHRYN FThe pick up was wonderful and the woman who I first spoke with and took care of me was great! Drop off not so much.. the man walked right past me when I walked into the building then just followed me in basically and just grabbed the keys off of me without saying anything to me. I followed him to the truck and he said “it says you rented an appliance dolly” and pointed to the regular low grade dolly in the back of the truck as if I stole the other one or something? I told him that’s the one that was in the back of the truck already. So I guess I was technically owed $3. Then had told me that I STILL owed them $4.50? Now how do I owe you $4.50 when I’m owed $3 for the wrong rental equipment? I went in and paid my mysterious balance without question because I just wanted to get out of there and the woman at the counter said “you will have a remaining balance owed of $5”. WHO IS TRAINING THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE WHAT IN THE WORLD. I know it’s just a few dollars but dear lord I couldn’t even get my appliances down my steps because I had the wrong dolly and it’s not like I was expected to check the back of the truck before I left. That’s not my job. That’s THEIR job. I will never be returning to this location. First and last for everything.

DONALD WThe last couple months I have either turned rental equipment in from another state to this location or rented equipment from this location and returned it back to this location, kudos to the Uhaul associates that work at this facility, are always courteous and they have the rental equipment ready for pickup and dropoff is very easy as well.

A family member purchased one for me and I had no clue. I got online to cancel it’. I never used the unit I never went to the location , I cancelled it 12 hours later so that the unit was readily available to someone else who needed it: I never received a refund for $120. I called and they told me no refunds. I just received an email stating i owe them $120 when it was already deducted out of my bank. U-Haul is not helpful and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone I know .

A few of my antique pieces sustained moisture damage while in storage. The staff were just incredibly rude and uncaring. The lights would go out constantly when I was trying to consolidate items in the storage unit and I'd have to step out in the hall again for the lights to come vack on. I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone. It was not a good experience and I am relieved to be done with UHAUL of Wilkes-Barre!!

Ron S | First ImpressionsWhile it was well lit, the lights were movement sensitive and there were times that my height wasn't enough to register- and i'd walk half the length of the hall before they were activated. if i was inside the unit itself i'd have to use a flashlight to find anything inside because there was no lighting in the bigger units. as well as all the lights would go out on me if i didn't pop out every so often to show movement. i'd also recommend a way to get heavier object up there stairs with a small lift on one end or another- more for convenience of those who can't get help. also the units on the end that swing open and block the stairs is difficult to work with as well, maybe swap the hinges so stairwells don't get blocked by doors. only other problem was for larger objects maneuvering them around some angles were kind of difficult but not completely impossible.

The best things about my experience was that I experienced the infestation prior to moving my belongings into the facility, at this time the prevenative measures worked from bringing the bugs into my home, and that a refund was provided.

I have dealt with several of the u-haul locations In the area however my experience with this particular location is that they went above and beyond what I could have Ever expected. I believe the woman I spoke to more than once was the manager, I had a few small issues On my part And questions concerning my property Over the 8 months it was there. each time she politely and professionally answered my questions and solved my issues with 100% satisfaction I can honestly say I have Absolutely nothing negative to say about this location Or the people in charge they're of. These days it seems everything is a hassle and Takes twice as long as it should But I am grateful knowing If I need anything it will be a quick and pleasurable experience With one less thing to worry about. She had told me her words exactly if I return the truck with a certain amount of gas I will receive a refund of $75. When I had put $30 in the tank and went to get my refund she then lied and said I'll just be receiving a $5 refund. She then proceeded to say if I didn't fill it up I then would be charged $75 which she didn't say when I first went to pay for everything. It also stated in the paperwork I received and the screenshot I took from you that I would only have to pay $30 if I didn't fill up the tank to where you guys wanted. Either way she was deceitful, a but rude and your company and paperwork needs to get in order. As well as your training. I'm five months pregnant and I wasn't in the mood to go back and forth with her at that moment. I instead was going to contact HR regarding this bs. She also charged me for an amount of mileage unknown to me when she had asked me I told her I wasn't sure then looked it up to tell her. She had already put it in without waiting. This whole process was ridiculous and a waste of my money when I could've went to somewhere that wasn't uhaul and gotten more respect, better service, the products I actually wanted for a much MUCH cheaper price! I will be emailing this to an hr email and j do expect an email back.

Had to register twice because I lost the screen when I went to check a phone number. Was given a code but didn't explain how to use 2 different keypads. Eventually was given a swipe card to use. Was not told to ask for one. Eventually it all worked but more difficult than it needed to be.

I don't think your prices are extremely high but they certainly aren't extremely low either. All in all it is a very clean and well maintained facility and I feel confident that my belongings are safe in your care.

That left us in the dark until someone walked to the end of the aisle to make the light come back on. Perhaps these lights could stay on a bit longer?

john b | Overall ExperienceI had a reservation for a unit, the staff was very friendly her name was Ashley, however you didn't have a unit for me. All of the units in the building had locks on the first floor but we're not taken out of inventory so I had to scramble and find another location for storage. I never got to move in. I don't know that I would ever use U-haul again. I had a horrible experience getting my truck in South Carolina where you have a remote location that can't pick up GPS running a 24/7 pickup. I then had to drive 49 minutes to the next location to pick up a truck 20 miles outside of my way period then the owner hit the truck off of the gutter coming out to deliver the truck to me. I really think there needs to be more reliability during this time when you're not going to have people at a location on a Friday to hand you keys. I will never use your 24/7, or your online reservation service again. I was extremely disappointed being that I've used U-Haul several times for moving in my past. My entire schedule got messed up because of inconsistency within the U-Haul system. This is a no reflection of Ashley she was very personable and very professional. She even offered to call your Kingston location but by that point I had just about had it and was trying to keep my composure. It was in my best interest to go outside of U-Haul for my storage unit.To say I was disappointed in your company, is an understatement.☹️

Trying to get information on my unit was very difficult. Nobody from uhaul reached out to me. It took several days and multiple phone calls to determine all my contents were in fact safe.

Saving extra Uber costs and time. Thank you guys for everything.
