I rented an auto transporter and box truck to tow it. Upon loading the car onto the transporter, we discovered that one of the tie-down straps - the portion that is put into the ratchet and used to tighten the tie-down - had been torn off and was very short. Fortunately, we were hauling a very small car (13" wheels) and so the strap was just long enough. Had we had a full-sized sedan or SUV, the strap would have been too short and the trailer unusable. We would have had to go back to get another trailer - not acceptable. The agent at the return location was appalled and adamant that we should not have been given equipment in that condition.

The only problem I had was I reserved my truck at the location on Wyoming ave in Kingston but the pickup location was changed to the Mundy st location by Uhaul and even though it did list it in the confirmation I didn't notice the change and drove over to Kingston only to find out I had to go to Mundy St. I suggest that if you modify a completed order make sure the modifications are highlighted in some way so this waste of time and driving doesn't happen to others in the future.

Unfortunately a tornado destroyed their building in the summer of 2018 but the temporary facility is accommodating. Excellent staff & service!

I called a day in advance to reserve a trailer for our move and that was fine. However, when I went to pick up the next day I was told there was no one there to do the installation and the price I was originally quoted was 200 dollars less than it would cost. Woman that was there asked if we needed to move that day and I said yes due to the fact I had family come in town from 3 hours away to assist. We took a van in a rush to get this done, which was well maintained to their credit. When the following day came after moving and being in my third trimester of pregnancy I found it extremely ridiculous that I now had to travel back 64 miles from the location I had just moved from, on top of having to pay for the extra 64 miles to drive back and the 128 miles extra being put on my personal vehicle following my fiancé to drop off. When I called the customer service I was hung up on (which could have been an accident) then the second time I was transferred to the pick up location. I spoke with a woman who was not empathetic at all to the situation and told me, “ you did not have to take the van, you chose to when you signed the contract.” I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, to their convenience was not there and such persons name was not given. I then asked for a corporate number and the woman told me she did not have that and they would tell me the same thing she did. After requesting several times to speak with someone higher, she then transferred me back to customer service where I received the same brush off treatment and was told I could file a dispute. I asked this woman (Deidra) to start the dispute and she did so, but only after arguing with me for 20 minutes before doing so. After filing the dispute Deidra told me someone should get back to me within 72 hours and if they didn’t to call back. She then said the manager will look at the dispute to see what actions they would take, and with a possible refund. I explained to her it wasn’t about receiving a refund, it was the principal of how I was treated and the fact that their employees are not trained correctly. If I was at the least bit told an apology for being given the wrong information in the first place I would have been able to let this go. However, to pin the blame on me because I needed to move the day I made the reservation for is beyond despicable. Moving is hard enough the way it is, along with pregnancy. No one should have to deal with a company who treats you beneath a person. Highly disappointed with their customer service.

Everything went well. All employees involved were willing to help in sunny way. Any problems were dealt with in a comfortable and relaxed manner. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my rental. I think it would have been nice for someone to explain how the lights on the truck could be turned on. Also the heating and cooling system. I got caught in a heavy rainstorm and had a rough time finding the defroster.

I understand that you had a few trucks damaged due to the tornado, but i rented a truck to move and i needed a big one and since u didn't have one i had to borrow money to pay due to making extra trips . Your company should get more big trucks due to the fact that there are alot of families that struggle day to day and when we get charged an arm and a leg to move because you have to use a small truck to move a 3 bedroom house . there should of been a discount that is my only complaint

This location will be much better once it is rebuilt after the storms earlier this summer. A lighted sign at night would make it much easier to see at night, & instructions on where to park your personal vehicle would be extremely helpful.

I don't know how the check in employee ever got a job working with the public. At first I thought he was a customer because he was showing more boxers than pants. Second I could barely understand his speach, he was speaking like a gangster hood rat. Third is he was just rude and seemed to hate his job. It's a shame but I won't go there ever again.

My husband and I dropped off the cargo trailer we rented after hours, so we didn't deal with anyone in person. I did call the next day to confirm our rental was checked in, and it was. Smooth, easy, no fuss, no muss. I definitely would recommend using this location based on the efficient manner they handled my return.
