I drove only 10 miles filled gas and on my return gave the key to guy so he can check and close the transaction i even used his store brooms to clean out minor dry dirt. The guy said do not worry i will check it and send you receipt and later charged me cleaning fee of $25 dollar for no reason. I registered my complaint and then that guy called me and said you did not mop the floor ha ha.I will not recommend that location to anyone. Very bad experience.

To claim on the side of this 26’ truck that it “drives like a van, hauls like a truck” and that it is a “gentle ride” is beyond disingenuous. This truck drives like a freight train. It stunk of weed upon pickup and the floor was littered with giant flakes of tobacco (?). It had NOT been cleaned, so I cleaned it. In addition, the 2 regular dollies, 4 furniture dollies, and 1 appliance dolly I HAD RESERVED were NOT AVAILABLE. My moving help used sheet brute strength to load that truck (and they were a disaster, but that is for their review). This experience simply tells me that since U-Haul, considered the “gold standard,” has a person stuck when the situation turns out less than favorable. How is it there were no accessories on hand that were reserved by this customer? No excuse is acceptable. (“People just don’t return things,” the U-Haul employee told us, as we stood there with our mouths open.) I am just grateful we got to our destination without incident, unloaded, and got the truck to U-Haul in Tulsa. Putting this bad dream behind me!

There was an issue with the storage unit that was reserved. When I came to move in on February, 12th, it was discovered that someone else was moved in the unit already. Rahmir did the best he could do to rectify the issue, by offering me multiple smaller units to accommodate my needs. A day or two later, I received a call by General Manager Steve, with an attitude telling me that I would still have to pay full amount for all of the units even though I was inconvenienced. I was going to take the issue to corporate but I never got around to doing so. After logging into my U-Haul account, I see that my move in dates listed as Feb 11, 12, 13, & 14th when it was the 12th. When I moved out on April 12th, I was told again by Steve in a nasty nonchalant like tone that I had to pay for the units or I wouldn’t be allowed to move! Then proceeded to tell me if you live in an apartment and the you had to move out by the 12 and you move out on the 12th the landlord would take you to court. Charles and Rahmir remembered the issue when I first moved in and did their best to help me. Steve should check his un-accommodating attitude especially having a position dealing with various customers and issues because I don’t see how he became a general manager anywhere!

Friendly staff. Easy check-in. However, as I found out during my trip, the wiper blades were in poor condition. I appreciate that U-Haul puts so much emphasis on safety in their communication to customers (very helpful) but U-Haul should take more responsibility for the safety of its trucks and install better wiper blades and check the wiper blades before each rental or after so many rental days of use.

Didn't experience interior. We arrived and there were about 4 other trucks dropped off at the same time. So we were directed to park and just give the keys. We had to drive around again bc the lot was full and then were charged for the extra mileage. We were off by just barely 2 miles.

This is the worst storage experience I ever had in my life. My unit was mouse infested when I put in the claim to retrieve damages and losses, it was denied due to staff being dishonest to the adjusters so my claim was denied I lost about $10,000 due to the infestation and the employees were dishonest and not very helpful it would’ve been nice if my properties was compensated for I took a big loss lost a lot of my property and belongings, along with furniture and clothes i’m gonna be honest it was only one fella that was very helpful throughout my experience and he’s the manager

The car trailer was missing a chain to secure the car on the front driver’s side. The wheel strap ratchets were difficult to use because they were not lubricated to protect from winter road salt. The trailer did Track nicely behind my truck.

The lights were off and I ordered a 10ft storage but it’s 2 separate 5 ft units with a wall separating them. There’s no elevator in this facility inconvenient if you’re on another floor other than 1. Have to log in to 2 separate keypads to enter building and they’re not next to each other.

Only thing I would recommend is that U-haul as a company update locations that take the vehicles. I went to 3 different places to finally find a place that excepts 26’ trucks it’s ridiculous to have to drive around to find a place.

My U-Haul was towed because it was parked too close to an intersection, which is totally my fault. However,U-Haul pressed charges on me for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and the U-Haul was no longer in my possession and I called and all the info was documented in their system. We attempted to drop off the truck at the location specified in the original rental contract, KIRKWOOD EXXON, Wilmington, DE 19808, and were told that they NO LONGER ACCEPT U-HAUL DROP-OFFS. Fortunately, since were less than 12 hours into our 48-hr rental period, we had ample time to locate an alternate drop-off and formally change the drop-off location with the Scheduling Team. But KIRKWOOD EXXON should be removed from drop-off options. Otherwise, great experience with U-Haul.

To whom it may concern the lighting is a bit out dated not well lit take awhile to come on with the sensor that amount of rodent droppings in my storage unit was disgusting . Key card to gain access is a joke never worked properly . Staff is could be friendly looks like there customer service is poor and understaffed . The storage inside halllways where dirty like they never get tended to not cleaned . For the amount of coin this storage facility is charging I don’t see it to be worth the price for the condition of you belongings to be stored especially having the rodents eat away at comforters that was stored in my unit as well as other items . Thanks for all your help with my account. Still waiting on a refund but the staff and Taylor went way out of their way to help me with a major uhaul screw up that left getting passed around on the phone for 2.5 hours and spending 4 hours in the store, getting charged for someone else’s Uhaul charges, and finally getting resolved with a credit. I recommend this facility

My father passed on Monday 6/12. His last payment date was on 6/9 that he missed due to being in the hospital. I moved and cleaned out the unit on 6/16. I arrived, and was unable to access my storage. The code was being denied. Then i called customer service waitied one hour for someone to pick up just to tell me speak with someone on site. When i did so, the guy opened the door fro me and told me to use someone to keep the door open as my code was not working. Not to mention, i was told to come back the next day to receive my free lock. further more, there was a lock on my storage and i also could not access my storage. it was ridiculous and the service was terrible!!!! it feels like you guys only care about the money

U haul need to be more concerned about the customer instead of raking $$$ out of their pocket and train the staff in Delaware to be more efficient. NY need to send people to a viable clean storage maybe outsource if their facility is not up to par in the connecting place people are renting or storing I was there less than 25 days got my free month and went to A CLEAN NEWER COMPANY...TOO MANY GAMES , JOKES, UNPROFESSIONAL WITH MOVERS..., AND THEY COST ME AN EXTRA DAY WITH THE TRUCK BECAUSE THE MOVERS FIRST SAID THEY COULD COME THEN CALLED AND SAID CAN THEY CIME 2 HOURS EARLIER ...I SAID NO....WE WERE ALREADY BOOKED. I ENDED UP GETTING Another MOVING Company THRU U HAUL, who came with $80.per hour. And later turned out to be just like U haul...too many word games with the people ..this day and time...people are educated and, for me I will make a better choice next time...there are SO MANY Other COMPANIES...Penske, HOME DEPOT...ETC ..JUST TO NAME A FEW....THE truck was FUNE...but the service was the pits.....

Por otro lado cuando entregaron el storage no me pidieron que dejara un código de seguridad y estaba totalmente sucio, ya que en la página tienen información incorrecta, en el lugar no tienen los storage disponibles que hay en línea.

Took me over an hour to get into my unit and had to be switched 3 times because they originally tried to put me in a mouse droppings infested, very smelly unit. The second unit they tried to put me in didn't have a working lock so I was switched yet again. Even after physically switching, no one switched me in the system so my code didn't work for a day. I also had to waste time and come inside to basically re-do my rental process when I had already did it online.

I'm hurt I lost all my clothes because of the mice. Them taking on using my things for a bathroom. Then to make matters worse. U people wanted to charge me me 25.00 to clean up the rats poop. Sorry for me just didn't not happy. I'm glad your worker cleaned it for ten dollars. I'm happy I'm done. I forgive u for all that. Have a blessed 🙏 day.

I arrived at the facility with a full U haul 26 foot load one way rental. I was informed on arrival that just because I had a reservation it did not mean I had a reservation and no storage units were available. I encountered significant penalties having to find other storage units and U haul then hit me with fees for late drop off and over mileage. My intent is to pursue court action for breach of contract and recovery of costs .

The facility was over run with mice & other rodents. I came in one night & something big & furry ran into a broken unit. All of my things were covered in mice droppings. My bags & boxes were eaten open by rodents. Dead mice were in the hallways as well as flies. This isn't the 1st time either. I've used them three times & each time was reassured the problem was under control but it wasn't. I only used them 4 the price but I paid the real price.

Sorry doir to access out unit was hard to open n rigged and the employees were aware n tried to tell me how to access it broken , they called thinking we exited ( saying Mayby they put us in wrong unit) when employees took me to unit because of broken door. When calling still no one knew if our things were safe or stolen . Won’t store here again , yet Ellie’s Teklu was most kindest sweet professional when I originally encountered this facility . I occurred more debt having to keep vehicle a second day due to storage not being cleaned out had to wait for worker in the rain until he was able to get things open... didnt get tarp I request. Most of my thing were wet k had to purchase boxes twice and move my things in alone because the movers wont move wet things into storage because the didnt want the liability of my things if damaged...smh this is awful.
