Samatha was very helpful in finding the right sized trailer once I realized that they one I reserved was too small. Ahmad was awesome. He changed my hitch ball to the right size and hooked the trailer up for me etc. The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Samatha and Ahmad in it. ERIC DBusy place. Many of us waited while a guy got a quote. It would be great if they could do it online, as many needed attention now. But... it didn't take long once the guy got his information.
CONNIE FI was extremely happy with the whole rental experience. The price was reasonable and the agent who helped us was extremely friendly and helpful. I regret that I can’t remember his name, because he deserves a special shout out. The only improvement I can suggest is to maybe do a quick sweep of the trailer floors between rentals.

Parmjeet SAlthough i booked ahead, the entire computer system was down and I was told I would be unable to get a vehicle. Somehow he managed to print out some information and get me a van for the day. The tank was 3/4 full, and windshield was so dirty on the inside, I had to clean it in order to drive safely. Upon returning 24 hours later, I had no idea how to gage 3/4 level, so I filled it up completely and relayed my comments. Computer system was still not functioning. Location is convenient, clean, and gentlemen are friendly.
Mary jI drove 10 km in the van. I took a picture of the gas gauge and showed it to them that it wasn't what they said on the paper. And I filled it back up to over where it was. The guy said he would adjust it since it was wrong when I started out. And my $20 van rental turn into $100 van rental because they charged me $22 for fuel that I didn't use. If the van uses $32 in gas to go 10 km I don't think people would be renting them. No one could afford that. I will be calling today to try and get my money back for the fuel. But it's ridiculous that I have to do that after speaking to the guy and him saying he would fix it. His name was ahmed

MARCAILA Ttruck was loud and noisy. needs seal between driver window . no cruise control which was a pain. truck needed to be sweeped. truck only had a quarter tank of fuel which was annoying. employees are not friendly and helpful enough.

VAN QMileage truck showed and mileage which was on paper differed by 15 miles/ 24km. I was fortunate that I noticed that before driving away from pick up location. Had I not noticed, I would have ended up paying $30 extra. This difference could be just error but person at store should check the vehicle before giving away. But if this is intentional, then this is sad and unfortunate.

CHRISTINE CThis is the worse location and worse u haul trucks to pick. Their trucks are filthy and have no control , this is my second time i rented from this location and both time i had same issue and they are charging cleaning fee for no reason. I do not recommend this location to anyone as the truck they gave it to me had a engine light on and have alignment issues.

HASSAN AWas told that my deposit would be sent to me without listening that it was on debt card. Said oh well, too my damaged items from the leaking roof.

THOMAS OWent to a U-Haul at Millen and collage and they wanted 100.00 cash deposit plus 190.00 payment. Which I said was insane, went to the one at prince n Techumseh - the system was down… ended up going to the main U-Haul on Dougal which we should of went to right away… they only asked for the standard deposit along with the cost which was all together 183.77 or close together. ( have moved together so I was expecting this) not the 100.00 cash deposit … U-Haul main was professional and polite… the one asking for a cash deposit was rather shady and I didn’t trust!! Didn’t give a reason for this “ deposit in cash” on top of the 190.00 … seems fishy when the main U-Haul was only asking for just that amount if not a little less and my over all bill was 135.94. Thank you.

MARIO SI ordered a dolly didn't get it.. pull my back because there was no dolly.. was told truck was just to my left outside. I walked the lot 3 times it was buried in the back trucks heat didn't work right. Not happy missed a day of work.. actually I'm very upset
DAVID IThe workers were excellent. They went over and above to help me out from hooking up the trailer to making sure all the lights and equipment was working. I would recommend this Dougal location in Windsor to all my friends.

JOHN PI inquired about renting a uhaul ahead of time and explained my plan to the employee. I was never notified of being charged an extra $20 for returning the uhaul after hours. It was advertised as if it was the same price. The day I went to get the uhaul, again no mention of a $20 fee but I was billed for it. It was not appreciated.

GUSTAV ZI brought back the fuel exact same as when i got the uhaul,but the agent didn't accept even i had the picture before and after as proof ;asked me to pay extra $20. Then I decided to go to the gas station to fill the Gas for $5 which I even didn't have to add, he was oky afterwards.I didn't want to be in any argument,that's the only reason i went to the gas station to fill fuel and i decided i don't pay extra $20 for fuel. But the attitude of the employer wasn't appropriate.

STEPHEN T | Overall ExperienceI used 2 unit storages from end of March to end of November. Booking was easy. Driving to the storage for loading and unloading also was easy. There were no mold or bad stuff on my things even after 9 months. I was using unit 1005 and 2005 outside. I am not sure what were the access hours to the unit, i just know that my boys were able to put the moving boxes there in the middle of the night as we had to empty the house which was being sold by a morning. Self checkout option is a very good option for busy people. Because usually if we need to do that through the réceptionniste, that is going to take a long time as it is always a long queue of people there RECOMMENDATION to customers. Do ur reservation online or through the app, and just go for the key pickup there to save urself ur time Thanks to the store staff. I think U-Haul company should make some changes to the app to make it work faster Thanks again for the storages

I was at the location for more than an hour and had to go back without moving my things to the storage room. I have followed the process mentioned and when I try to open the entrance door it doesn't open. I contacted customer care multiple times and I was told by the agent that they contacted the store manager "the door might have been stuck". I requested the customer agent if there is any drive up storage available but there was none ready to use. I no longer need the space as I made another plan to store my things. I request to cancel my storage pace and request a full refund

I also dealt with Shannon from customer service that was abrupt not helpful, disappointed with the service when I asked for the address to confirm where to pick up trailer she told me to google it. Wow-isn’t thy part of the job to help the customer?

The office was even open on Sunday which was way better for me than waiting until Monday to get started. The unit itself was clean, seemed very secure, and heated which was nice during December access. I would definitely use this facility again if my needs warrant it.

I asked for reoccurring payment and the employee did not add it or it had been removed. I did not know. I rented a truck and after work, I went to remove items only to find out it had a seal on it. Thankfully wonderful manager rectified it. I was satisfied. She gave me an additional month free for the miscommunication however I kept getting emails saying I was past due when I wasn’t. It was very frustrating and annoying

Jaclyn was very helpful with offering an immediate solution, by offering a trap to cover the rest of my stuff and moving me to a new locker to avoid further issues. Jaclyn has done everything in her power to take care of not only my property but uhaul property as well., by moving me to a new locker she could have the leak taken care right away and maintain an income with that unit. I never had this feeling of appreciation before. You see I had a locker for almost 2 years after walker rd location. I never enjoyed going there cause it was out of the way from home and my neighboring locker was broken into. It is very convenient for me to stop and pick stuff up at my leisure here. Thank you to Jaclyn and the staff at this location ! Very professional and compassionate team.

When I asked if a truck could be moved that was blocking the exit, I was told it's not that persons job and they stormed off. I watched one of the workers back a van right into one of the units. He just laughed and walked away as if it never happened. Very poor place to rent a unit.

Two monthly payments were taken out after I moved out in good standing and even rented the equipment from you to move out. It took 4 phone calls for me to resolve this matter and have the monies put back on my card along with numerous hours of cleaning everything after discovering the mouse droppings.. The staff at the location were fantastic however.
