Kevin was extremely rude and unprofessional. He shared what other Customers has done wrong, He asked questions during the attachment process - "You didn't look this up on line on how to do this before hand", and He informed me what he wasn't going to do verbally along with his tone and facial expressions. He seemed overstimulated and rushed which caused errors in my contract. The difficulty I experienced with Kevin caused me to call my husband. I noticed he gave male Customers a different level of respect which was received after my husband arrived. There were other comments made by Kevin that suggest he has a problem interacting with the public and may need training. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

JAMES GI scheduled a rental for a 5’x8’ trailer, 1 furniture dolly, and 2 dozen furniture pads. When I arrived, they did not have a dolly or pads available. Although they did remove both from my charges and gave me a smaller wooden dolly, I had to go to another location to get the pads. Then when returning everything I had to return the pads to one location and the trailer to another location (same locations where I picked up). Although I understand the trailer being returned to the same location as rental, why can’t I return the pads with the trailer and let U-HAUL deal with inconvenience of 2 dozen pads? I have rented from here before and will again, but this experience was sub par due to inventory. Staff was professional and courteous.

Then I had to wait over 40 minutes for the truck to be returned. The truck was basically on empty when it returned. The truck is very run down and shakes and rattles a lot. This is the second time in a month we have rented a truck from this location and it has not gone smoothly. I lost about an hour and half of my moving time due to the issues the location had this weekend.

We stood in line 3 + hours, after returning a truck, turned in truck and key at 4:pm. Manager bumped us in line, stated our rented uhaul truck could not be inspected or final bill receipt provided, until ALL customers , over 20 behind us were served; and the line grew larger: After u-haul closure hours at 7:25 pm, the clerk still had not inspected our returned truck /others , or provided a timely receipt. 30 plus customers walked out! Uhaul finally emailed our requested receipt the next day! Run from Uhaul dysfunctional management at this location! So much potential, due to location! The clerk went outside 15 times in the 3.5 hours waiting on a receipt; and easily could have inspected our truck and dozens of others in less than 5 minutes; while a competent manager, if manager stayed on site, in this case did not stay, waited on consumers and provided customers said requested receipts timely. Expedite upgrading onsite all the time trained functional management! Uhaul is loosing business, making customers walk away!! Only poor quality managers only partially wait on a customer, take the truck keys and truck, fail to finalize/finish providing that customer’s inspection and receipt; requiring that customer to wait 3+ hours , while waiting on dozens of customers, who came in later! The video of dysfunctional uhaul management would make great national news for competitors.Cooperative office, please cleanup/ train managers, requiring managers be on site all hours uhaul is open, with backup clerks during busy days!

MAULIES PWe reserved a truck and support equipment (2 furniture dollies). Reservation accepted via the U Haul website. Location could not furnish support equipment reserved and accepted by U Haul. The locations inability to meet their obligation created undue hardship on the moving process. U-Haul has sign stating and policy of $50 credit if equipment is not furnished. Location would not honor advertised representation for unmet obligations of reserved and accepted reservation of furniture dollies. Location stated equipment applies to truck sonly although advertisement clearly states equipment and not trucks. Based on this and my prior experiences, U-Haul rarely can meet their obligations in the reservations. Wrong size truck available, return to location far from final destination (past many closer U Haul locations), cannot provide support equipment reserved, and/or truck has mechanical issues. i would recommend alternative moving company and alternative location if forced to use U-Haul.

Initially, my choice to use this location was due to the great service provided by two young men, Wes and Caleb. However, after their departure, the professionalism of the staff declined significantly. During one instance, a truck was blocking the entrance gate, and when I inquired about the expected duration, an employee responded rudely, stating that I simply had to wait. The tone and attitude used were quite disrespectful. I've also faced security concerns at this location, with my storage unit being broken into twice. The first time, Caleb informed me, but the second time I discovered my unit was open without any notification. This lack of communication was concerning. While waiting for assistance from General Manager Nathan, I observed two employees gossiping and making derogatory comments about customers. This behavior, including a remark about wanting to "strangle" certain customers, is unacceptable and unprofessional. On my move-out day (August 19, 2023), Nathan finally treated me courteously for the first time. I strongly believe that U-HAUL locations, including this one, need to focus on treating customers with respect, adjusting attitudes, and improving overall customer service quality. Certainly, expressing my feedback to management would be ideal, but unfortunately, it was extremely challenging to do so!

Derelict vehicles have been allowed in and parts have been scattered all over. Gravel has been eroded leaving large holes and ridges throughout the lot. Security has been lax as several break-in's have occurred. This facility has been convenient and at a reasonable price but conditions are getting worse.

After the first break in U-Haul seem to be concerned and wanted to help but after the second break in, we weren’t even notified by U-Haul. Other people storing their rv’s let us know that we had been broken into. It was by accident that we found out that they were closing the RV storage in the back. I went in and ask are y’all going to close the RV storage and the man said yes and I said why haven’t we been notified he said well we’re trying to get around to it, but you’ll have to move out by the end of July, which it was mid June When I found out about it. They still have not contacted all the people in storage and it does take time to find a new place to go. The facility was never clean. There was trash everywhere, and I spoke to a management about it but nothing was done. I asked him please put a trashcan back there and let people know they can put trash in that, but nothing was done. I finally tied a trash bag to the pole next to our camper and every time I was there I would clean up around several campers near me . They would let semi trucks come in and tear up the yard. They were junk cars in several units and they didn’t know who they belong to. I’m sorry, but this area in the back where the RVs are was never managed by anybody in fact, they told me they didn’t have a manager for that area and I believe it , the storage unit is very convenient to us and we’re sorry that it was run so poorly. I hope in the future that y’all will have more qualified managers.

When I asked the cashier about it he said “well that is a first”. He was practically no help at all. After minutes of questioning he eventually gave me the number for claims but that was it.

What would have made a difference when I moved out was for someone to say Thank you for being a valued customer for SEVERAL years and paying on time of not in advanced. I was late once but just a day. There seemed to be no appreciation for the customers. Those things go a long way. If you are going to have an “express” line, it’s a good idea to utilize it so customers wanting to pay their bill don’t have to stand in line behind all the rentals. The lady that cleans the facility is a true gem! She is the sweetest person and goes out of her way to show kindness to others. She does an exceptional job!!!!!!! Can’t say enough about her. She is the one that brings light to the facility.
DENICE P | Overall ExperienceI rented a 5x5 unit on a Sunday. The site said there was one spot left and let me reserve it. I showed up on Monday afternoon with a truckload of materials from my classroom and was given a unit. We unloaded the entire truck and went to find our the unit. When we found it, there was already a lock on it. I went back to the office and told the gentleman. He walked to the unit with me and then said he'd have to call his manager. We walked back to the office where he called his manager. Apparently, the unit had been rented and there was nothing left in the size I needed. I was told I could rent the next size unit for $20 more a month. Given the inconvenience we'd experienced I think I should have been given that unit for the price of the smaller unit. I was told that I would have to talk to the general manager, but he wasn't until the next day. We had to load everything back into the truck with nowhere to take it. This was completely unacceptable. I now have no place to store my classroom items for the summer. I tried to return the lock I was made to purchase and the gentleman didn't know how to do it. We had also tried to have a propane tank filled and the man working wasn't certified to fill it. How can you leave one employee in a store who isn't able to actually run the store?

shay g | First ImpressionsWe have had our 41ft. fifth wheel with the on the eastern blvd. with u-haul for 4 years. We and everyone else in the covered storage had a break-in. They called and took care of the repairs. That was a 1 to 1 1/2 years ago and everything was ok. There was a second break-in in a few units but the people were not notified. We had to call the owners of the motorhome next to us and they didn't know about it. We sold our RV Satuday and went into the office to let them know. We have never been late on any rent. We usually pay one year in advance. The young man that waited on us came in and out the front door twice and never said a word to us. It was not very busy when we went in so we waited our turn. When we got to the counter we told the young man there that we had sold our RV but we were going to purchase another. Knowing that the covered storage was less than half full. I asked him it he could reserve our spot ( it took us 2 years to get slag put over the mud in that space) His response was NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I would think that a company that had loyal paying customers would be a little more courteous. I could have understood if they had more RV's but this was just rude. People need to be trained in how to talk to customers. This man needs an attitude adjustment or just fired. I don't usually respond like this but I was just shocked at his response. I'm not man . I just feel sorry that this man is so miserable and he will surely cost you customers. Thank you Debby
Scott o | Overall ExperienceI had the worst experience ever!! When I arrived the guy at the desk didn’t even greet me as I walked up. He had his Chick-fil-A on the counter eating. And still proceeded to eat throughout my whole purchase, it was so unprofessional and just rude. Then when I asked him about any specials on the storage he asked me if I could buy him some wings and he will see if they have any specials. Super unprofessional I was so stunned. After moving that evening, I arrived to my storage unit, and to my surprise they forgot to take the lock off of our unit. So we had to find a friend to keep our furniture safe until the next day. It was such an inconvenience the whole thing. I’m just really appalled and upset!!!
