ROBERT GHad requested 2 dollies the day before pick up and they were not available when we picked up the truck so we had to spend extra time going to another location to get them. Like places closer but it was fine.
DEAN MI parked my car in a customer stall in front of the doors, but when I returned after-hours to drop it off, my car was blocked in by returned box trucks. The customer service line would not give me the lock box combo for the truck to move in out of the way, then had me wait for a tow for 15 minutes (this is 11:30PM by this point) before telling me they could not tow it out of the way. They got me an uber, but it was the cheapest option which made you wait longer. 35 minutes later I was in the uber finally.

JAMIE NJulian did great job on my move. I moved a 3 bedroom apartment and the all in cost was $1950. I used 4 movers at about $55 an hour. I will use him for my next move. He used his go to moving partner and two other professional movers for my job. They were fast, careful, and energetic. A couple items got damaged but they were covered by insurance.
ERIK PMy answer on clean and well maintained is honestly a “kind-of”. There was a crack across the windshield, the A/C didn’t work, and it was frustrating to know I needed to get gas before actively using the truck. Management/customer service was slow and lacking. Honest review overall-2/5 stars.

SHELLEY DThe General manager and one of his other staff that was there when we rented were extremely helpful and kind as well as understanding. My fiance and I weren't sure if we wanted the trailer we rented or a truck and they helped explain the differences and prices to us. It was all extremely easy and fast. They made us laugh and we would definitely rent from them again.

Medhanie TI was lied to about how much the trucks was going to cost. I was told my rental would be $1056 and I paid $1200. They lied about having a full tank of gas.

RUSSELL GHave the vehicle a person reserves weeks in advance when they come to pick it up. Also, have the vehicle at the pickup location they selected. Complete joke i have to go to a different location and get a different vehicle. Also, hidden fees. being allowed to advertise the 19.95 rate like they do is stupid.

KHUAH CAdd a water fountain or some way to get water. You get hot and tired when moving. It would be nice to have something to help hydrate you. I forgot to bring some for myself. Others probably will forget to. That’s my only complaint.
Elizabeth KI rented a 10' U-Haul van for less than 2 hours and drove under 5 miles, yet I was charged nearly $200. I even returned it with more gas than when I picked it up, but they still added extra charges. Very disappointed with this experience.

Tessa SI almost had an accident when I was about to pull in to drop off my rental truck. They were repairing a truck in the driveway, and I had to back up. That place is practically a freeway. Cars are whizzing by. I had to back up to get in on the other side. I also filled up my gas tank, but they didn't refund me or adjust my gas. It's unfortunate.

Sarah BThe vehicle that I was given was not very well maintained. The driver side door was shaking the entire time and felt like it was going to fall off. The first person who helped me decided to prioritize a different customer after he got upset and handed them off to another employee.
MASON MI had reserved 2 dollies and they only had one available. I was really disappointed, not to mention frustrated. What's the purpose of making a reservation if it's not honored? Especially on a stressful moving day.

REBECCA MWe had a trip from Utah to Boise pulling a 1950 ray rod car. Trailer was great truck had okay in steering. We called location said they could not help us.. drive with it until burley, very hard to keep on road, truck only had 7,000 miles called location in burley asked us to call customer service, they sent us to roadside assistance and they were not available for a while. Temperatures were over 95 and we could not sit in the desert for a long period of time. We called two Boise locations asking if we could trade out the truck answer was no nothing they could do. Very dangerous with no options. So we continued to Boise going 50 miles an hour. We arrived Safely with a very frazzled husband who had to do everything he could to keep it on the road. Thank goodness he had driven truck before, a normal driver would not have been able to do so. Thank goodness we did not wreck, or lose the front wheels. When dropping the vehicle in Boise they indicated the tires were barely on the front axel. We very firmly said do not rent this or again to someone else. The slc group new this was happening and did rent it out, not smart. Very disappointed with the vehicle and customer service. Will not use again especially when they still made us pay full price. A 5 1/2 hour trip took over 8

DANIEL MWe use U-Haul for our work when we can't get a truck to bring our product. We have used different vehicles and trailers, and I never have any complaints. Everything is always clean and ready to go when we get there. I always go to the 21st location across from Home depot because they are always friendly fast and know what they are doing. These employees deserve a bonus or raise with as many vehicles they are having to play Tetris with. Despite all the vehicles and trailers they have on the lot I have never had to wait for what I was picking up no matter how busy they are. Thank you U-Haul

DEBORAH Gthe lot was a little small and over crowded with trucks so we were worried about getting in there, but we had no problem. the staff was very happy to work with us and all went great.
KEITH LThe U-Haul we rented was extremely loud - the exhaust might have had a leak or something. The drive to Arizona was extremely loud - at times we could not hear the radio. It was noisy when I drove it off the lot, but I figured that was normal. When I rented the truck, I was told that we would be OK if we also needed to drop off some art in Queen Creek, not just Cave Creek. I returned the vehicle a day early with the gas tank almost full and was charged for extra mileage. I found that disappointing.

Erica KExplain the mileage usage a little better. I was under the impression that I had 30miles included with my rental, but was mistaken & charged by the mile. This made a 2 day rental much more expensive than anticipated. I used 38 miles.

Nathan KThis is the worst experience I had ever in my life with renting from the U-Haul. I rented a truck and I went there to U-Haul in this location because they have the motorcycle trailer.. so after I finish my transaction with the cashier and I fee paid the rental for three days I asked the cashier there if I can borrow a hitch she said yes so when the guy came and tried to get a H to put it on the truck one lady appear and she started to yell at me in Spanish. I let her finish yelling after that when I told her I’m not speaking Spanish. I’m not even Latino so she started to say why you want to borrow this one. You have to buy it with $32, I said why I am gonna buy this and I don’t have a truck this is on their rental truck and I’m gonna return this one later when I’m returning the trailer so she looked and it was very far distant and she started to yell with a very very high voice to the cashier and told her don’t let these people to borrow anything they are not returning it. And went out and pushed the door very strong seems like she’s so mad she didn’t care about customer service. She didn’t care about the customers in in the store the only thing she cared about that to yell at the customers and to her employee in front of all of us that what was on Monday 06/16/25 around 3:45 pm. You can review with the cameras.. she was so rude and unprofessional and when I ask who is she they said she’s the manager her name is Natasha.. visit the worst experience I had I would never recommend anyone to go to this location anymore.
Mahmoud HIf you se someone that needs help just help them. Don’t tell them to go inside to get help just to be told to go outside to get help because the person outside “is new and doesn’t know what they’re doing” well sitting inside on tour phone.

MARC AI had two separate one day rentals this week and had great experiences each time. Natasha and Mercedez were great during the pick up process. The computer system was down when I was working with Natasha, but she handled it well and got me on my way. Mercedez was fast and efficient. When I returned the van, the return area was full of vehicles and trailers, but the employees did a very good job of managing everything. *****
