The truck box leaked water. The U-Haul employees said they do a "light test" to see if they can find holes, but it seems like a better process could be put in place.

Joshua KToo many trucks and trailers for the size of that lot. It was difficult to find a spot to park. Then I got boxed in. This place needs a much bigger lot to properly operate as well as more staff as the wait was longer than usual.
Dimitri VWhen I booked the trailer for pick up at 3 pm for 6 hrs online I was told my total was going to be around $35. When I get to the store I am informed there is a late drop off fee of $20 since the store closes at 5 and I’m returning if after that. I said I have never been charged that before and when I made the reservation it said nothing about a late drop off fee. I was told there is nothing they can do.

Jim PI prefer working directly with someone rather than relying on online check-ins, and this experience was disappointing. When I arrived to drop off my items, a male employee walked by multiple times without acknowledging me or asking if I needed assistance. I eventually went inside to ask for help, but the female employee I approached was eating a rice cake and came across as unprofessional. She told me she couldn’t assist me until she finished something else, yet continued eating and directed me to go find the other employee outside. Overall, the lack of basic customer service and professionalism made this a frustrating experience.

Juan CMaintain your equipment. I had a wheel bearing failure. The bearing was not serviced and the wheel and hub came off the trailer while I was on the freeway. This could have caused an accident. The wheel went rolling down the edge of the freeway and ended up off the right side of the freeway. I was stuck on the freeway for two hours waiting for a tow truck.
Brian PTrailer was in horrible shape. Vibrated whole trip. Also had a flat tire on both sides.
Stephen BStaff was really helpful and very efficient. I felt well taken care of. Two things to note 1) There was animal hair all over both the driver and passenger seat. 2) This was probably my oversight, but, I didn't realize there were different sized vans. I could fully stand up inside if the last van I ordered. This one was significantly smaller and I needed to take two trips instead of 1. Not a huge deal, I just wish I would have known there were different sizes. I do want to emphasize that all of the staff I worked with were great.

JASON DI noticed I was charged twice on my card for a trailer rental a few days after returning the equipment. Called in to the Uhaul location to inquire why and was told by the manager that I was charged the $20 after hours fee. I wasn’t seeing that fee on my order and I did return it before they closed and had a representative help unhook the trailer and told me I was good to go. When explaining that to the manager, instead of looking into it further, she gaslight me and told me that it wasn’t checked in properly. After going back and forth on whether or not I returned it in time (their records show it was returned before closing), she told me to call customer service to see if they could refund the fee. I did and they were very helpful. Turns out I wasn’t charged a late fee and was actually charged twice for the trailer. This could have been resolved with the manager but instead of looking into the matter, she came up with an excuse that wasn’t relevant and blamed me for not understanding the contract well enough. Very poor service at this location and will never rent equipment here again.

Alexander WNot nearly enough staff to help volume of customers. I was sent away with a car dolly that did not have working lights. I had to bring it back to get the lights fixed which was also a time consuming hassle due to lack of staff. When I got back home with car dolly for second time I noticed the tire straps for the driver side tire were almost completely off. I had to figure out how to reapply straps because nobody showed me
Alexander WU-Haul truck was terrible, the acceleration was extremely slow. It was one of the worst trucks I have used from U-Haul. Getting up to even 20 mph was so difficult without thinking the truck was going to break.
ASHLEY OThis location has easy access. The staff were attentive, professional and personable. The downside to the location is that their parking lot is nonexistent. More inventory means a lot of vehicle shuttling.
BRIDGETTE CI returned the tow dolly ten hours before it was due, (the following day), and I got charged an additional $20 ????.... why was I penalized when you had the equipment available the next morning for a new rental, and yet I was charged an "after hours fee"???... which required no one else to be there???..... to assist me with unhooking the dolly......from a customer perspective, I did Uhaul a favor, (early return and no Uhaul employee's help) and I was penalized for it. NOT HAPPY at ALL about that.

Stephanie KTruck was in horrible condition. Worst truck I have ever rented. Air conditioner was not working. When told them, wanting a different truck they said “U-Haul considers that to be a luxury item, so sorry, no.” The front suspension is worn out and shot. A front wheel bearing is failing and was squealing badly. The storing wheel was covered in grime and grease. Passenger side windshield wiper blades was bad. You had to steer at 11:00 o’clock to keep truck straight. Really, really bad and unacceptable and unsafe truck. When turning in and let know how bad it was, nothing but “sorry.” Even the windows were terrible and dirty….not on the outside, but on the inside. I shouldn’t have even had to pay for this poor, poor truck. First, don’t send a truck in this condition out . Second, at least offer some credit or reduction recognizing how bad it was. A really bad overall customer experience top to bottom. Start to finish.
ROGER BI arrived on Sunday at 1:50 PM and was told they was open till 2 PM. No one around nobody would answer the phone. Very disgusted.

TAMARA FThis location was over full. The staff was standing around in the lot as I was pulling in. There was no where to go, when I finally got in the guy says “can you take this somewhere else” ummm no.. then I stood outside while the guys talked, moved other trailers, then was asked to go inside.. sat in there forever, one guy said the other guy was helping us, he was on the phone, I assume to another location. He was at least pleasant and said I could drop it here he’d take it to another place. There was absolutely no where to maneuver a trailer. Instead of taking it off my truck and using the trailer dolly I was asked to back it up (or they would for me). I did it. Overall the drop off experience was ridiculous and took WAY too long!

SAM HThe extra things I purchased with my U-Haul were not in the truck when I arrived. I tried doing just a mobile pickup but then had to go in to get the furniture pads and dolly from the front desk employee. Also, the truck smelled like cigarettes.

My only suggestion would be for the van to be loaded with supplies ordered prior to our arrival. The van itself was maintained but for a van with 9400 miles on it the condition looked like it had been in the fleet a lot longer. Overall, I enjoyed driving the van and thank you for the excellent experience.
