No problems with access and the provided carts worked well. Driver door on truck (DC5671G) would not lock/unlock with the key. Had to unlock passenger door then crawl across the cab to unlock driver door from inside. Lower tie down rail on driver side of cargo area was pulled away from wall in two places which made that rail unusable to tie down cargo. Significant wind noise from driver door at highway speeds. Truck definitely isn't up to U-Haul standards.

I had to download the app and submit many pictures although cell service was poor. It probably added 45 minutes to the drop off process. I was very unhappy!!

CHARLES RI did a virtual drop off. No personnel involved. Other than the app being a little slow because of no wifi, all else was good.
ROBERT BU-Haul franchises need to be mindful of how they park the vehicles and if they are in a bad spot or parked too close together, then staff need to offer to pull the truck out for the customer to avoid an accident (for which the customer is liable).

Edwin TReturn process was extremely long and frustrating. UX needs work- location barcode scan should be sufficient for confirming return location. Too many unnecessary steps and pictures. Giving advance info on this would help tremendously.

Patti TThe location itself is fine. We picked our rental up on a Sunday so the office was closed and we had to do everything remotely which ended up taking almost 2 hours. I would go out of my way to pickup my rental during office hours if I needed to rent again.
Julia SMy only comment was this. When I got my truck it had 278 miles left until empty. My understanding was I needed to fill it up back to exactly where it was. I did that in fact I dropped it off at 284 miles until empty. I got a charge for 17.95 for 4 gallons of gas. That wouod have been more gas than what you gave it to me with - you can check your records and see I didn’t leave it 4 gallons short. I wouod like that back

So I have to go to another location to return the trailer and then come back to unload the truck. That was stupid. I vacated my unit 3 days after the "Contracted" date due to weather (Hurricane) I had to shift my departure date due to a change in my movers schedule. The weather caused a shift in all movers availbility as they were trying to accomodate customers from previous week cancelled moves. I asked staff to consider this, I was told UHaul does not prorate. Otherwise this facility is staffed by excellent people (Ashley, Tenaya) who were always willing to help throughout my stay. Note: This facility is exceptionally clean. The staff take a lot of pride in their work
GERALD S | Overall ExperienceWhen making a big move across country I used a U-Haul storage to store some things when going back and forth. The only thing that I would comment on is if I could access it 24/7 with my key card that would be ideal. Otherwise staff was amazing at both locations.

All three services Truck, Van and Storage have all been billed incorrectly with demand for payments and lien notices after disputes regarding the incorrect charges were filed snd communicated on multiple occasions. As a result, we have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection Agency. So you will be hearing from them soon. That said, we will never use UHAUL again, nor recommend your business and its services.

Mark M | Online Move InThe only good thing about this location is the staff, especially Brian. Brian works harder than any U-Haul employee I’ve ever seen. He goes above and beyond for customers. He’s extremely knowledgeable on everything he needs to be, and more — definitely someone U-Haul should value as an employee. Other than that, the facility itself is poorly built/designed and the experience there is below average compared to other facilities. The units aren’t able to truly hold what the space is advertised as because there are random beams running throughout the units (either from floors to ceiling or completely through the middle laterally or diagonally). The worst part about this facility is there’s no equipment to help people move heavy items, no dollies or rolling. So you’re expected to carry couches, dressers and other heavy items through the facility’s narrow hallways to your unit.

Kevin R | First ImpressionsSince U Haul took over, the small parking lot is often packed with rental vehicles on weekends when I want to access my storage. Maintenance has declined. I was unable to get a light replaced in my large, dark locker for several months. I was finally told that lights were not going to be replaced once they went out and I should bring my own lights if I needed to see what I had in storage! The previous Manager was meticulous about cleaning up any miscellaneous debris left over after someone moved in or out. Pieces of things are now sometimes left outside for weeks. Our unit and several on our floor and above us got soaked when blocked gutters couldn’t handle a big rain storm. We weren’t notified until 2 days after the damage occurred, causing us to throw out a third of our possessions stored there and a stored Oriental rug to get wet and start to get moldy. The aftermath of work entailed to go through all of the paperwork, photos, etc. that I stored there has been time consuming and painful. The on-call manager did her best to help us move and document some things. However, the lost hours and memories can never be replaced. (Note: I received this survey after the above incident caused us to move our things to a nearby, dry room. I didn’t recently move in but have been here for almost a year.)

My parents drove a long way so I was really hoping to unload what they brought and luckily Lou was still in the office. He took my last name, walked in the door, and not 5 minutes later he came out, knew I did have a rental unit and he opened the door for us! He never once made me think I was an inconvenience to him even though he was staying late to help us out. I have to say this was a wonderful experience and will definitely make me recommend this location to my friends.
