The staff at this location is amazing!!!! Friendly, helpful, accommodating, with great customer service. My brother has been renting storage units there for years, so when I needed one, I took his recommendation because of his good experiences there.

Absolutely awful customer service. LITERAL Months of not being able to access my unit (took my key months ago to upgrade a door), I had to call in to figure out what was going on months later and the manager had no clue if anything had been done. No apology.. nothing. Show up to get said key as discussed with manager, and staff couldn't find it, staff had no knowledge i was supposed to come in. They finally gave us a key. Ended up not being our key. What a surprise. Wasted a whole day off not being able to access our unit since they gave us wrong key, and lost ours. Thank God our stuff wasn't stolen. Took another day off (lock was supposed to be cut off first thing in the morning) I waited around for a phone call to give permission (was told 8 am ish, shocker didnt get a call, so yet again i AS THE CUSTOMER had to initiate a call, verified we were all set to head that way, and everything would be done, show up and they OF COURSE weren't prepared even though I called in prior to make sure lock would be cut off, husband had to wait around AGAIN for lock to be cut off and replaced etc etc. Terrible staff, terrible communication from manager and/to staff, terrible location, price increases what seemed like every few months even though (according to your manager) you used a mom and pops company and he doesnt even think any improvement was done/have no clue what's going on. No worries I will not ever use this uhaul facility in the future. I am out even more money from days missed at work (im a nurse, so getting days off is hard) from your staffs ignorant lack of being able to do their jobs. *and this is coming from someone who very rarely complains about companies or restaurants even when there is crap servics* VERY Sincerely, Ashley

Dark hair, girl with tattoos on her neck, was the most courteous and respectful to me out of the entire staff. When I picked up equipment, one girl told me it was outside, I had to go look for it, take advertising out of the window and pull it out of the slot myself. The girl seemed a bit smug, as did another one. But as I said, the girl with the tattoos is by far the most respectful and courteous person. I would do business with her any day, but not with the others.

We had a wonderful experience as a young couple moving from Myrtle Beach to the Hocking Hills. Our 26 ft truck gave us the ability to make one trip and it ran great through the mountains with no issues. Great heat and air, too! Thank you, and we will be using Uhaul again in the future in our next transition.

We have been with Uhaul for a very long time have no problems with anyone or anything. The one recently Danielle was the one that helped us and she explained everything we needed to know. She also walked my husband and son to the new storage unit we just got. She is a very excellent employee. And Shane is an excellent manager. As long as they are there I will continue my business with uhaul .

The door latch is loose ony outside unit. I tried calling and emailing about it but have had no response. And the unit looks to have mold on the inside like it has been wet before.

The gentleman who helped me was very nice and informative. He gave me a map and drew my location on it and explained the instructions on how to use the access card. So helpful for someone who has never done this

Concrete cracking around pillars that hold up your storage buildings is not good. Alarm goes off during severe cold and when a unit is breeched...that's fine but not one of a customers that brings the police. Reset or dump this security company...are they maintaining periodic checks? The electric gate card swipe says welcome in my name even when I depart...that's stupid. It should say goodbye even if it's 10 hrs later in the middle of the night. Not having a % discount for Veterans is also poor overall for this Company (it once did but shows the waning support of military currently).

I felt like my belongings were safe and secure. However the price is outrageous and there really should be a size in between the largest, what I rented, and the next size down. I was paying a lot of money for space I didn’t really need but my king sized bed and dining room table wouldn’t fit in the next size down.

The security system is not working properly and has some bugs to fix. I recommend an upgrade or some change to the current system in place where the passkey is swiped for access..Thanks

I had some issues at the beginning of my storage rental, but with the right communication, the store manager Shane went above and beyond fixing the issue and continued to offer superior customer service throughout my lease. I would definitely recommend this Uhaul location and team to friends.

I am so very grateful for the kindness and support of everyone on the staff at my local U Haul office here in Lancaster, Ohio. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been very professional, courteous, respectful and very helpful in assisting me with navigating through a major transitional period in my life! These guys really have gone above and beyond with assisting me with my storage needs etc.! Small storage spaces not connected to the security system. Walls inbetween units not attached to the concrete. The building alarm was ringing for 1.5 hours and no police ever showed.

There was a frog in my unit the cracks need filled there was a confusion at my initial check in the lady at the front desk did make the moment right but initially I had booked a unit and it did not save the unit not sure how that happened but they essentially gave my original unit away

The staff seemed complacent - I was a couple days late in June, paid on 6/16. When I went to the unit on June 8th (nearly 3 weeks later!!) The lock was still on my unit from being late and I had to go to the office and get them to remove it. Apparently the GM's wife is responsible for removing the locks and had failed to do so in the 3 week period since payment. The bathrooms were not clean (no toilet paper, someone's shirt on the floor, exposed wiring in an outlet with no cover and part of the cover on the window had been removed at waist level, so someone can see in from outside). I will not choose this location again for storage; as the main office location is clean and professional but the storage area seems to have been forgotten.

The storage facility was off site and not behind a secured fence.

Water comes into the unit at the bottom of the walls and front door. Also, there are constantly shady people loitering in the area or homeless people digging in the dumpster. Visiting my storage unit often felt unsafe. Lastly, I reserved a small storage unit, and U-Haul said the storage unit was available before I drove several hours with all my possessions. When I arrived, I was told the small unit wasn't available, and I was forced to rent a much more expensive unit out of necessity.

Where do I start? From harassing us because unloading and attempting to sort things so the move out was easier? The telling the allowed visitor to " get out of your calling the cops"... Or the see in while using the bathroom? Or when moving things and you come in with many layers...start to sweat and take off a later to be yelled at..." You can't strip in front of the cameras"? Or taking the accessible cart away...so when it rains..and you set things by the door to load to the truck...you get a visit being told that you are not allowed to put anything on the ground as it's rude to other customers? Even though no one else is in the place? Or the placing your own locks on our unit that we had to cut to get our own things? Or the constant treatment like we are homeless? Fyi I have thousands in the bank... To the non re/occurring charges that are in fact re-occurring and I was sent a $0.00 receipt while the tent was raised and I'm fighting to get my money back for the two months yet being charged for 3? This is only the brunt of it... I would never recommend this location and I will take my time to do whatever I can to get as many others I can to not go through this same situation. I haven't even begin the complaints. Try calling and they can't find anything...let alone you give them all your info and need to provide the location...even though there's one large one in Lancaster ohio...yet still being to give the phone number and then bring told they can't help you. This is the worst experience I could even fathom. Try a visit everyone the alarm goes off in 20 minutes and you get cussed out. I had to literally threaten to fight...just so I could be allowed to move my things out. This is not getting into the fight to store my own things there with constant harassment and blame...yet I paid for this experience.

I realize this is an secondary facility located away from the main facility so they cannot see everything that happens there but there is some physical damage inside the unit. Is nothing major but a panel piece on the ceiling is hanging down. Will talk to manager when I get my voice back

Please make sure that you tell people what the swipe card is for and how to use is so you don’t sent the alarms off!!!

Your alarm system is a joke. It goes off or doesn't go off arbitrarily. There are multiple keypads around the facility and it is not clear which is the one I need. I have a friend whose unit sets the alarm off every time he opens and closes, regardless of what he does. My unit has never triggered the alarm and I never used the keypad. Take the alarm out or get it working right.

I was supremely disappointed in the quality of the storage unit and will be relocating as soon as possible. It is supremely cheaply constructed and not conveniently usable with a small entrance. It is also very dark inside the storage unit, with hardly any light at all so you will need a flash light to see inside the unit. I also I do not feel as if my things are safe because of the other lock on the unit where who knows who could access. Also other patrons open the sliding secured doors for anyone trying to access the “secured” area.

I will not use the mobile pick up again. I have used the rivervalley uhaul several times and had great experiences. Even this time the girls working in the uhaul place were very helpful. The truck I picked up was sitting at a storage unit which I would not have found on my own.
