Excessive fuel charges and after hours charge is dumb, I just dropped the keys, no effort on the location was needed.

DENNIS HI am throughly disappointed with UHaul. I put in my address and put in my new address and it gave me a recommend number of miles. They charged me for going over 57 miles. I didn’t go anywhere except the standard route of getting between Las Vegas and Seattle. After picking up the truck, I drove to my house, packed and drove to my new apartment making stops for food and gas like a normal person and dropped it off early to be fined for using extra miles. This is a rip off.

MOHAMMEDAMAN AThe check in process was the biggest headache (you guys called my employer at 10:45pm), the fuel tank was half full, there was a plastic piece by the windshield that rattled the entire drive, the driver door didnt close with a seal that kept air out (constant whistling), ran out of gas in Utah and the uhaul representative was not only unhelpful but followed up by telling me that the $100 insurance is paid for covers 3 gallons of gas but not the cost of the tow truck to drop it off to me. What a joke! Oh also I had scheduled the pick up time for 930pm and uhaul scheduled my return at 1:15pm; this took me 4 calls to rectify and that person I spoke with was actually helpful and professional. DO BETTER!!!! Penske will definitely be the company I use next time unless Uhaul is able to make this right.

STEVE NI reserved a truck in a specific location for a reason. The day before pickup I was told U-haul had changed my pickup location— 80 miles further away. Will NOT be using U-haul in the future.

WILLIAM BThe customer service here was terrible. The first van they gave me smelled like cigarettes so I asked for a new one. When figuring out which one they were going to give me I asked where to park. They told me no parking on site and offered no suggestion as to where to park. I finally got a new van that had so many dead bugs on the windscreen you could hardly see out. They all seemed clueless and bothered that I was there.

FRASER CFantastic experience. I was able to catch an easy ride from SeaTac to UHaul and pick up my rental as scheduled. Great staff and vehicle. Used the rental truck to complete work at my daughter's house, then the easy return helped me smooth my exit flight connections. 10/10!

GILBERT RSuper friendly guy (Thomas C) when I picked up the trailer, very helpful and made sure everything was good for me. Checked lights and attachment and everything else and was all set to go. This was definitely above average for U-haul. Unfortunately though, I realized after I drove the trailer away and was in another state that the chains for securing the vehicle in the event of ratchet strap failure were either missing entirely on the front and broken on the back. The tie point on the front was there but no chains. The back had some links but was missing critical components to actually secure the vehicle in case the ratchet straps failed. Was not a complete issue and did not affect the experience but would be nice to have working safety features on the trailer.

MILES VWindshield still had bugs from earlier trip. Half eaten tacos behind seat. Would not have reviewed but I was charged a 25 dollar cleaning fee when I returned it vacuumed out.

Guy was an ass hole about how busy he was and how he didn’t want this truck back yet, then he charged me $38 when I filled the tank $65 before I brought it back and the gas pump clicked off so I figured it was 100%. FUCK YOU U-HAUL. I will never rent from you again.

DANIEL WBelieve the two gentlemen I worked with on the rental are David and Kenan. Both these gentlemen were very polite, friendly and accommodating. Rentals have been made through this UHaul for many years and have yet to have a not good experience. The comments to equipment would be, nothing major or life shattering!!, a hub cap was missing from right passenger side, could not get cruise control to work, but for this 65+ senior it certainly could have been operator error!! The Ford van was extremely comfortable to drive and ride in for 10 hours in a day and gas mileage was better than expected.. THANK YOU to David and Kenan from the senior who asked too many questions and starred at the screen to long!! jb

I trusted U-Haul so I trusted the moving company only to be ripped off. Disappointed ☹️ with all the money I spent to move and all of the missing items

Then when they hooked up my car to trailer, he placed the straps on tires and cinched down, after leaving i stopped to get gas and then 2 hours later for restroom. It's was still ok. But at some point of my last 3 hours of driving the passenger side strap failed and during that time the front faring on my SLK-Class was cracked and damaged. I am not happy.

Mark A | Overall ExperienceThis location is busy and only the manager was available. She even admitted she needed to hire more people to every customer in the store at that moment. Then, the manager was going to charge us the first months rent in which I told her we would be getting one month free because that's what it reservation was supposed to include. Customer service even told my husband that this location has a unit available and the first month would be free. She then tells me, "I don't participate in that. Because I'm so small here, I don't participate in that." I went back to the car to tell my husband who was watching our 5 month old who was sleeping. He goes in to talk to her and began to tell her that we were told we would get one month free of storage and that her sign in the front even says one month free rent. The manager says that she has to put that on her sign which is FALSE ADVERTISING! Then the manager finally asked if we had a certificate. My husband grabs the certificate from the car and then the manager says we can get one month free. It is my fault I wasn't prepared with the certificate but also the manager could've asked me and I would've remembered and got it myself. Horrible experience.
