Entry was a bit difficult because I needed to use two keypads and was not aware of that. It is possible that I was not listening to the instructions while I was renting my truck. The woman who explained this to me is very efficient and I have done business with her in the past. This was not her fault. I’m quite sure it was mine.

Short term storage rental due to a pipe burst on Christmas day causing significant water damage. Customer service was outstanding! Stacy, Matt, and Zach were all terrific in helping us with a unit and a truck to move the apartment furniture and contents. Could not be happier! I have used many rentals for business over the years and this U-haul location, and it's staff, are the best I have ever dealt with. Thank you so much for your help!

Facility advertises that they have 24 hour access upon request but does not honor that. The current access hours are 5 am to 10 pm. By advertising 24 hour access on request then not honoring said request they misrepresent when a person can retrieve their belongings. They need to either honor their claims or remove this signage.

Will I get my remaining 2 weeks $$ returned to me?? I left on 9/30/24 & was paid up until 10/15/24, this was a 2 week notice!! Also, there were MICE DROPPING in my totes!!!! And, there were nails all over the outside of the storage area, causing damage to my relative’s tire!

There is no after hours assistance and there is no point in reaching out to the manager after hours. I was moving my items from one storage unit to another and on my last trip missed re-entering the building by one minute. Then tried to reach out to the emergency number and got no answer. Left a message. No return call. Called the one 800 number who also tried to call and left a message. Never heard anything back posted on the building say 24 seven but that is not the case. Is not 24 hours hours and you are not able to get into the building after a certain time unless you have a access code which you’re not given. Ridiculous.

The ladies at the location in Kingston are great. Even when obstacles are thrown their way and it’s not up to them to figure it out. They still go above and beyond to try to help you out for the best outcome. The only thing I have to say about the facility in syworeville B loading dock…THE BEES…yikes…it made it so hard to move yesterday by being so scared. There is an abandon shed right next to loading dock B and you can tell it’s filled with bees. They are all in there. Pretty scary. Other then that everything was good

Upon checking out of my unit I had no guidance. Maybe in the email receipts yall should have a check out list or reminders. I come in and the lady tells me I need a picture of proof. Which is fine.. but was never reminded.. now I have to drive [which yes I personally can. But what if someone else didn't have the means of travel to get back to take that picture bc yall don't do in person inspection]. I come back after taking the picture hand in the key card and my lock key.. well like I said with no guidance the girl behind the counter is like "what's that?".. no you keep that.. thats yours. Well thank you so much for the reminder before when I went over there before that it's mine to keep. These people just have no communication skills. Small reminders can difuse small situations.

You allowed someone to open the unit for me.. my bills went to their address for months.. I didn't know how to get into the facility until the day I took my stuff out because I tried to ask 2 people (a male & female) and was brushed off.. thanks cleaning lady, I wish I had met you sooner! You were informed that I was disabled and in a violent situation.. yet continued to charge me hundreds of dollars in random fees and late fees.. when I closed the unit, I asked for a little relief on the fees since it was over $170 for 2 months.. of course she completely ignored me.. I had to pay the back & forth game between Kingston & swoyersville because of your staff... I'm truly disgusted

The building I was looking for wasn't super easy to find. The parking for that building was also very minimal. When I did get to my unit, there was no provided door lock. I ended up calling the phone number and they tried routing me to the local number and I was not put through. I ended up having to drive to the closest U-Haul truck rental office to retrieve a lock.

My experience with this u haul was TERRIBLE! The manager (Stacey Eckstein) was very hostile, aggressive and rude to me any time I needed to contact the store. When I submitted a complaint that I thought would go to someone above her (being that it was about her and the corrections to my balance due that I was promised by her and her employees would be made), she left me an extremely hostile and aggressive voicemail saying everything is correct, nothing is being changed, and her employees shouldn't of told me that, or done this or that anyway! She then called and left a 2nd voicemail a few days later yelling at me about another complaint that I never even did/sent. She also adds on extra charges that shouldn't be there and don't make sense and when I requested SEVERAL times on SEVERAL different occasions for a breakdown of monthly statements, she refused to provide them. I received an exact $ quote of my balance due on 8/14 from a manager higher than her, however the very next day Stacey emailed me with a much higher quote and there was no reason of why there would be extra charges over night. When my kids and I went to get our belongings from the unit, we all noticed that things had been moved in our unit. I also noticed that a significant amount of my different laundry products had been completely USED when they were FULL bottles when I had put them in the unit! Being that I was locked out of the unit for being late with payments due to an injury that I made them aware of prior to renting the unit, I know for a fact that I did not use them! So, uhaul employees were the only ones with access to my unit, they put their own lock on it that I did not have keys to, and they were helping themselves to our belongings and my products. Who knows what else they helped themselves to and used?! Completely unacceptable and unprofessional!!! I would tell everyone to STAY AWAY!!

I had a difficult time locating my unit because the numbers on the outside of the buildings did not have all the numbers. When I called and spoke with a uhaul representative he also had a difficult time locating the unit on the map. By walking around I ended up finding it.

Stacey was great to deal with . There should be a direct telephone number at the Kingston pa location . The unit itself was well lit and cool . But … when we moved our stuff out we found mouse droppings on some of our furniture and on the floor even though we did see a mouse house trap .

I have recommended U-haul to friends and they are current customers with the same satisfaction. You also have pricing that we consider cheap for what you provide. 100% will always use your facility. I moved out of the unit on June 2nd. I already paid the 95$ for the rental. I was informed they wouldn't pro rate the bill. Then they contacted me and stated they noticed my unit was empty and I moved out. When would I be dropping off the key fob for the bay entry. I informed the person who call me I still had the unit till June 27 so I'd be keeping the fob and they could have it back after my rental agreement ended. So, what does UHAUL do charge customers for a month rental then when they move out ask for the rental back and rent to another person after they've already charge me!! Not fair. I'd never rent here again and I will be sure to inform folks it a rip off.

DO NOT LIKE THE UNIT ACCESS DESIGN.....ONE SMALL DOOR INSTEAD OF THE STANDARD ROLLUP. FOR THAT REASON I WILL PROBABLY CANCEL THE UNIT BEFORE FILLING IT. IT'S WAY TOO INCONVENIENT TO HAVE TO MOVE THINGS AROUND INSIDE A CLOSED UNIT AND THEN MANUEVER THEM TO GET THEM IN AND OUT EASILY.

No carts to load or unload Stacie rude and hung up on me. Multiple calls and on hold each time. Lied to by staff. Unable to get resolution. I have a handicap that effects my mobility and needed those carts to empty my storage. None available. 3 people to carry boxes one by one. What should have taken no more then an hour. Took 2 and 1/2. Leg killing back breaking multiple trips back and forth to empty my storage. Finally broke the lock on the one hand truck. Due to could no longer keep lifting the boxes one by one. Call the office Stacie hung up on me. Called customer service another 4 times after that on hold for extended periods. No supervisor available to speak with me. Said someone should call me back by Wednesday. Today is Sunday It happened Sat morning Kingston location. I'm paid up till the end of the month so I will be asking fora refund for mu6unused time and all the agrivation and pain I have to endure.

Was never told that my storage unit was on the second floor with no access to either an elevator or a ramp, so once I found a ground-floor unit I immediately emptied my unit and rented one on ground level.

VERY satisfied with the cleanliness and the temperature inside. I have experienced other "climate controlled" facilities that would barely keep you from breaking a sweat. This facility is TRULY climate controlled! Thank you for being true to your claims!

If there's a way that email notifications can be sent during daytime hours, it would improve the experience. Notices are sent after midnight and, for people, like myself, who have sound for notifications, it's annoying in the middle of the night.

Couldn't get in. Complete waste of time and money. Had to keep the truck for another day. 😠 There's no hours listed on any of the paperwork that I received for the storage unit. And there is a placard on the building that reads 24-hour access. You would think that when I walked out of the office I would have been all set to enter my storage space whenever I needed. Instead I was standing there like an idiot with two friends just after midnight wasting everybody's time wondering why my card doesn't work. And then when you call for assistance with the push button it gives you options one two and three and it does not recognize when you punch any of those numbers so after it asks you twice what your option is and it doesn't recognize your input it hangs up on you. I am forfeiting work hours today to go do what I was supposed to have done last night . Bottom line, not good .

No garbage cans. Would often see litter in dock loading area. Only garbage can in bldg.. was in restroom & often overflowing. I had a smaller unit & was paying over $100 a mo. EXPENSIVE~~~ That's why I pulled out as quickly as I could. TOO expensive to keep things that I don't even have immediate access to. I only wanted to use it very SHORT TERM. Otherwise, it becomes a BIG $$$$$$$$$$$$$ pit~~~~~

A second floor unit which was difficult enough to find is not workable for a 61-year-old spinal cord patient with a partial paralysis I couldn't use the unit I returned to the Kingston store and they told me they would cancel and I would not be charged Please confirm.

I would like to explain the reasons for my ratings.. lot of my stuff even though it was in a climate-controlled facility,had mold on it (my clothes & blankets) the floor was rotted and smells like mold,the front of the entrance as soon as you walk in is extremely dirty with leaves, dirt & debris all over the floor.and I couldn't get into the climate control building iafter 9 p.m. most of the staff were rude and acted like they didn't have the time for anything or anyone. except for one very nice girl I think her name is Stacey.She was very kind and patient she greeted everyone very friendly and took time to answer any questions you would have had. he would be the only reason I wouldrecommend that facility to anybody, I have left in the middle of the month and didn't even get the balance of my bill back which I don't feel is right bill with paid in full and the money that was left over I should have gotten that I cleaned out my unit it was swept and the door was shut. I should have received the balance in a refund.

The unit I rented was to small for my dresser ,headboard, mattress and box spring to store in the 5x5x8 unit. So I had to take the dresser somewhere else which ended up costing me more money in mileage fees on the uhaul truck that I rented! So I'm disappointed in that fact.

The facility is clean and well lit. Overall, I’m very happy with it. The only issue I have is there is only one platform dolly in the building that I’m in so, if more than one person is there at a time, you have to wait to use it. An extra one would be nice to have available due to the sheer size of the facility and odds that more than one person will be there at a time. I do appreciate that there is also a mattress dolly available that came in handy.

My unit was locked and not available to rent even though I rented it online. There was no one avail to answer the phone to help when I had movers there being paid with my belongings ready to move in. I contacted Stacey more than once and she never bothered to reach out nor did any UHaul employee. I would never rent from this company again.
