Thomas H | Overall ExperienceThe female regional manager for that area made no attempts to resolve the issue I had since August. Instead she yelled at me during the conversation. This unit was just for my daughter in college because every semester she has to remove her personal belongings from her dorm so instead of driving back to PA a storage unit made more sense. I had no idea it was this complex. Finally I received the help I need in October from Mr Cooper. Thank you Mr Cooper and Amicia for helping. Both of you would probably be the only reason I recommend any family to this location in Toledo.

Constance G | First ImpressionsAlthough I was behind in my storage unit on many attempts to contact them to try to make arrangements they gave me the runaround with contacting the manager instead of her taking accountability for the fact that I never got an opportunity to speak to her prior to my things being auctioned she decides to prompt me with how you guys attempted to contact me through phone and mail and disregarded the fact that I was explaining to her each time that I called in her staff told me she was not available and would call me back the next business day nevertheless that never happened until the date of auction and then it was just thrown in my lap like it was all my fault that we were at this stage and my things being auctioned that same day with no communication prior with each other besides mentioning the collection calls and letters again disregard it I was reaching back out myself with no success of getting a hold of her

Annette M | First ImpressionsI wouldn't recommend an unmanned site. the Uhaul app was terrible. It took me over 50 minutes to get approval and the keys for the van. Returning the van wasn't as difficult but again, the app was a problem. The link to the app in my initial email and then the text at the end of the day did not work correctly.
Rick BThe pick up process and ordering everything was fine. No complaints with the truck but when l called about accessing my unit l was told it was outside access and l would be able to pull my truck right up to the door to unload. This was not true it was inside and there was a very steep ramp you had to navigate down which is difficult with heavy items. Also the directions as to how to access the unit were unclear. It said to use the code to enter the gate but the gate was already open and the access was on the side of the building inside the gate. It took almost twenty minutes for me to get someone on the phone to explain what the process was since the code kept saying denied.....inside the building there was standing water in several places which makes me somewhat leary of leaving my things there for any extended period but l was in a time crunch and l didn't feel l had another option at the moment

Also they charged my card several times and I was already in a financial distress so now I have to wait five or more days to get my money back.

Also, I had trouble using the app and the website when returning the van. Not sure if it was my cell service or the site. Either way, it took my about 20 minutes to complete the process.
William TWhen we arrived the gate was open so there was no security. When we got to our unit there was no lock and when I called customer service they said since I paid and signed the paperwork online we had already moved in so there was nothing she could do. There was also a man living in one of the units. Did not seem safe at all so I rented another unit in a better location. Since I technically moved in and out in on the same day I lost my free month rent I received for renting a truck. This location is not good. The new one is much more secure.

The website was very unclear and unhelpful and I ended up getting delayed by 2 hours. The location was advertised as being open 24/7 for truck pick up but when I got there I found out that there are no on-site personnel - so there was no one there for me to complete the rental process with in order to get the keys.

lee hI reserved a truck online until 6pm. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was informed that the truck had to be back at 3pm. Manager at the location said online booking is never correct. He was not able and would not try to extend the hours I requested. I was not happy at all with this experience and the lack of communication between the online booking and your individual stores.

Although the staff was excellent, the location was in the opposite direction that I was going. Fortunately,I called in the morning to confirm the truck was ready and I was told about the location. Otherwise,I would have wasted even more time going to the wrong place
kim bTracy, the manager, was great with us on Saturday. But on Sunday, when we picked up our van, we had to wait over 20 minutes. There was only one employee and one "trainee" in the store.

Therese LI actually reserved a 10 foot truck for pick up at the U Haul location on East Broadway/Woodville Road Toledo Ohio. I received a voice mail message a short time before I was to pick up the truck that said that the location I was to pick up the truck at had to close due to an emergency and that I needed to pick up my rental from the 2808 Monroe Street Toledo Ohio location. This caused an inconvenience because this new location was a farther distance from my home and to the location I was picking up the furniture at and the same in the return of the truck. Because of this it took more time for the people involved and gasoline and mileage charges.
sandy wThis was the second location I had to go to because you cancelled my original reservation 10 minutes before I was supposed to be able to Pick it up. There was no notification to me that you cancelled it so I didn't know until I arrived to pick up my truck. Found out there were no trucks available in the size. Wanted and had to go to a different location to get a smaller truck than I wanted. Unless uhaul does something to make this huge hassle right I won't use you again.

Stephen SVery frustrated that I did not receive confirmation until the day before with news that the location had changed. There was no way to request a time and the confirmation was the first news that told me Noon. We wanted to get started early in the morning. The attendant was very kind but he was too busy by himself. We had to wait.

John LThe service was very rude and they lied to us. when we rented the truck the man who made our reservation said that we would not be charged if we used the dolly as long as we returned the truck in the same condition. also we called to have our reservation extended another day and we were told that it would be fine and we would have to pay for one more day which was fine. when we returned the truck the man charged us almost $300.00 for the truck and we only had it two days!!!!! he charged us for four and when i called him about it he refused to refund me for the two extra days! i don"t understand how i can be treated like this I have been a customer for years and always go with you guys for a move but I can't see myself using U-HAUL in the future after this.
