I’m Already Started to Look for Other Alternatives which include Home Depot , and Enterprise Rent a Truck . Will Try Very Hard Not be be A Returning Customer . I’ve Notice the customers their Having a Difficult Time with the Ap , However in your Company Upper Level came out with this New Campaign should be Demoted , Your Sales Will Drop Completely Compared to Previous Years . The word of my mouth Don’t shop UHaul ! Look for Alternatives such as home Depot or Enterprise Rent a Truck , Which I’m Doing . Besides only one person to Help in front Desk Which was the General Manager . With a Line of Frustrated Customers Like Me . Not good Very poor service , will post this in the Internet , Reviews zero Stars

LUIS TI had the worse experience not with the location in Cudahy but with the one on Atlantic in East Los Angeles. I would not recommend renting from U haul it’s a horrible customer service I had my reservation to pick up at 6 am at the ELA location I got there and was there for an 1 hour trying to get the keys. There where no keys left for us at that location I was send to Cudahy to pick up over there I was able to drive off at 8:30 am it took me 2 1/2 hours to get the truck with 3 of my workers with me doing nothing but I still have to pay them by the hour. Horrible experience with Uhaul
Ever AI was told we get charged per mile , Not per day . Big mistake . I extended the rental for 3 days . But milage was local not far . I feel like I got played . Dont make the mistake I made . Return the truck back the same day guys . Verry disapointed @Uhaul for not breaking down the costs .

DIANA NGive your 100% attention to customer who is in front of you, I believe this to be management or corporate trying to increase profit. But it lacks in customer service. Hire more attendants. It seems like every location has this problem. Also have a lobby. Waiting around a bunch of heavy equipment is not very relaxing environment.

Jesus GI am very upset I scheduled the U-Haul 3 day in advance for 6:00 AM just to be sent to two other locations because no one had my equipment ready. I lost an hour of work time and had to cancel the movers I hired! This was very unprofessional, very stressful and such an inconvenience.

ARNULFO GLOVED! LOVED! LOVED the workers at this U-Haul location. I should have taken their names, but the young lady was so helpful, she guided me thru the whole thing and made the experience to rent a truck so much easier. Their was an older gentlemen that was also so helpful even asked my father is he wanted some water due to the weather being so hot outside. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
CINDY MI was told to move my car from parking area to the post office next door due to crowding, when i was pulling out a towing latch was laying open and laying on ground in drive way. It became caught under my left side of my vehicle and riped and tore of my bumper of my car . No one seem to give a damn because the office was in total chaos. It seem I was not the only costumer who was having struggles in the parking lot. A uhal truck leaving also ran over latch and even stopped to investigate what they ran over.
Monique MI was issued a vehicle with 0 gasoline. The gas light was on. I called the location to inform them that I was issued a vehicle with 0 gas and that I had to refuel first and possibly use milage that did not make a purchase for. This cost me time and money I was not intending on spending. I returned the vehicle WITH GAS. I felt like I lost money somehow giving the vehicle back with gas it didn’t have to start with. I am not too sure. It was unfortunate.

Denise HInspect equipment more and do routine checks on wear and tear. My Tire exploded 3 hours into driving my Auto Transport Trailer with my vehicle on it on the Hwy. It almost death swerved into another vehicle when it blew and I was lucky to control it. I would recommend a checklist to write and sign off before the Rental is back on Road For safety purposes.
MELQUIADES AI rent a van and I got a older model gas was 1/4 back was dirty and it smelt literally dog poop.
GASTON CRene and his staff where more than helpful during my experience. Although it was extremely busy, they where still able to assist everyone in a timely fashion.

JAVIER BTruck had no a/c. Tried to charge me 25$ for a cleaning fee for a truck that was very clearly caked in dirt from not being cleaned for weeks (I took videos) I had the truck for less than 3 hours and they ended up cleaning it with a dirty mop… Cleaning fee of 25$ for something they clean with a dirty mop ???

gustavo yThis location is always a hassle to pick items up. Whether you process your rental online or in-person they always take very long. What is the point of processing online if you still need to make line in-person and do the same process. The staff handling the front is also very under trained.

EDITH ODear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent rental experience under Contract #80669310, picked up on June 28, 2025, at your Cudahy location. Due to repeated issues at three different U-Haul locations that day (Vermont Ave, Lynwood, and Cudahy), I was offered a 10’ box truck at $0.99 per mile as compensation for the inconvenience of not being able to rent a van as I originally reserved. However, I was charged $1.39 per mile, which resulted in an overcharge of about $51.59. I also want to point out that I never rent 10’ box trucks, if you review my rental history, you will see that I always rent vans from U-Haul. This was the first time I accepted a box truck, and only because I had no other choice after multiple location failures on the same day. Additionally, the truck I was given had braking issues and made loud, concerning noises whenever I gently pressed the accelerator pedal. I did not feel safe driving this vehicle. I am requesting: ✅ A refund of the $51.59 overcharge. ✅ That U-Haul investigate and address the safety issues with this vehicle. ✅ That U-Haul review its reservation processes at these locations to prevent this from happening to other customers. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and let me know when I can expect a resolution. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Edith Pimentel Zavala

JOSE HThe place needs refreshing. Seems dingy and dirty. A little paint and updated counters goes a long way. Upgrade payment system to accept Apple Pay. Also the male employee that was there when I got my trailer didn’t even check the trailer lights until I asked him too. He looked sloppy and was unwelcoming. Also the following day a different employee was wearing crocs. Dress attire is too casual. Also there was no organization for the line or check in. There were just a bunch of customers gathered around near the counter….no number system, no line nothing. Otherwise I guess this uhaul was just ok.

Lissely GI rented a trailer recently and I brought it up to the attention of the person hooking up my trailer that the marker light was missing. I was told to take it up to management. So I did. But before doing that, I was instructed to turn on my hazards to verify that those lights work. I wasn’t asked to stop on the brakes to verify that the brake lights work. I told the manager about the marker light and the manager simply responded with “oh”. This is the second time I get a trailer that has a defect from this location.
