RODNEY FI dropped off trailer on Sunday and the person must not have completed paperwork, because I got phone calls and emails asking me when I was going to return trailer. I told them where I dropped it off and that a young man took it off my truck. Someone from U-haul called that location and was told it was not there. After a couple more phone calls inquiring about where I dropped it off, I went to the site and found it. They then completed my contract. I almost felt as though they thought I was was not telling the truth.

WILLIAM DThe drop off process was tedious. For business purposes I needed a printed receipt for the rental. It took more than 30 minutes to accomplish. Adding a procedure that permits easy printing of the receipt would be helpful. If the procedure already exists it is time for more training for the location. The personnel were friendly but it seemed that my needs were a little stressful. They were committed to helping getting the printed receipt and I appreciated their positive attitude.
QUINTON KCustomer service was very poor. If a certain truck is not available but it has already been reserved then the location should contact the person before the day of pick up that it is not available.

GAIL LThe only complaint I have was the guy at the front desk that helped me. He was not very friendly. He seemed to dislike his job along with disliking working with the public. Another gentleman came in behind me to pick up a trailer and he too agreed the worker was not professional. The equipment was cleaned and ready for pick up after waiting to get everything completed.
ERICA PThe mother-daughter duo that assisted me in getting my U-Haul truck yesterday were phenomenal. There was a slight hiccup on my end, however, everything was handled quick and efficiently. I appreciate the two women that assisted me yesterday. If I ever need to rent another U-Haul- the Barksdale location will forever be my first choice.

Vickie CDisabled husband showed up to get the Uhaul and had to track the guy down. Found him on his phone. Husband had to hitch up the trailer to our truck himself the guy working couldn’t even be bothered to walk outside and do his job. Next time we’ll use the Uhaul in the Kroger parking lot. We won’t use this location again. Extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Guy should be fired.

DONNA FDirty and truck is in horrible condition. My items fell out multiple times. Back wouldn’t close. This place is a scam. We purchased a dolly and it fell out the truck because door doesn’t stay closed at all. Immediately went back to store told the girl that was working that it fell out due to not closing. She responded and said that happens a lot, I will make note of it because we are aware that it happens. She also said I will just change the reservation to you not receiving the dolly so won’t have to pay the $60. She however didn’t give us another truck. We left and picked up our stuff. We had to stop over 4 times to keep closing the door even when locked it popped open. We return the U-Haul nd of course she wasn’t there and instead the “manager” who said he seen the dolly be loaded even if the reservation doesn’t say it. We explained why happened and the quality of the truck. So this place is a scam do not get a truck from here. We ended up paying $80 for $20 dollar dolly.
MERECEDES BConsuella Brown is the only bright spot in that entire place. The GM, Richard, was supposed to do my install at 2pm. He did not arrive until 3:40pm. Consuella was running the entire shop & putting up stock the entire time until her shift was up. When she left Linda showed up & clocked in. She filled up 1 persons propane tank & then went to the bathroom. At 4:30 I went out to smoke, Linda came out of the bathroom. At 4:35 I was still smoking the same cigarette & Linda walks back out to the bathroom & tells me she's going to smoke in the bathroom. I don't see Linda again until well after 5pm. She then fills up someone else's propane tank & heads back to the bathroom don't see her again until after 6. Mind you I'm still waiting all this time for my wire harness to be installed & because Linda isn't doing anything other than smoking in the bathroom Richard is having to check in & out trucks. I was told this appointment would take 1 hours. I didn't get to leave there until 6:45pm. I've had to put my move off 1 week which is causing me to pay an extra week rent at my current home. This was the crappiest, worst, most horrible experience I have ever had with U-Haul. I have rented from you guys 3 times in the past year alone. If I ran a business the way Richard runs his or if I worked the way Linda works I wouldn't have a business or a job. This has cost me more time & more money than it was worth. I don't know if I will ever do business with U-Haul again after this experience. Not to mention that after almost 5 hours there I couldn't even get in the bathroom to use it because Linda was in there smoking.

Salem STruck cab smelled stale.
John PRichard was very soft spoken and a little hard to understand. He did not make it clear there would be a text sent to check the truck so we absolutely missed that. There was no dolly available even though it was requested weeks in advance and we were not told in advance so we could get one. We were told we could go 20 minutes away, in the opposite direction, in rush hour traffic to get one if we wanted it. We passed but had we known we would have made earlier arrangements.
CHRISTY MMr. Marshall has always taken good care of us and is the primary reason we continue to use this location.
Scott WThis location was closed while dropping off the vehicle. The place was large enough to bring the truck and trailer in and park it.
Leaton JNot a problem with the location. Just wasn’t the original location I wanted to pick up from. It ended up costing me more money to get it from a different location because of the mileage difference. Maybe don’t charge the extra mileage if the original location doesn’t have the equipment and you force the customer to pick up somewhere else. Also had trouble picking up the truck because I was given the wrong password for the truck. Took 45 minutes to straighten out. Also not happy with the dolly being placed in there. It didn’t stay put. It kept popping out of the bracket which broke the seal on it and I spent the whole time worrying that I was going to get charged for something I didn’t want or use. But the people at the check in were nice and understanding about it. Would just prefer not to have to worry about it in the future.

yoshua gLady that I picked up vehicle from was very rude until another African American female came in after my transaction was over and her whole demeanor changed. She was very short with me and aggressive as well. I would not recommend at all for this location.

Jamie DI got there the night before and couldn't lift the tongue off the ball. I'm 74. So I redid the hookup and drove home. The next morning I took it back and a woman helped me get it off. She had some sort of wheeled lever that wasn't out the night b4. The owner of this location,I don't remember his name, is extremely friendly and helpful every time I use his services.

Wanda JAt check out Miracle asked me my last name pulled up a account which wasn't mine handed me the phone to input my card information and it was when she printed the receipt i saw that someone else account to my card it was very hard for her to fix it as she explained since she has only been working there for two weeks and they left her alone however she wasn't sure she had corrected the mistake but I went ahead and paid for my rental only to find out she hard three different charges on my card which she could not explain so I went to my bank to see if all these charges had been taken out of my account and they had now I'm going back to Uhaul to get this fixed when I walked in Miracle said she was sorry for all the problems and the inconvenience it had been she was giving me a refund for the rental because it was her fault she had messed it all up and no manager was there to help her not to mention during this two hour of confusion my husband missed his Dr appointment for his chemotherapy

Shigeta CMy truck that I rented died on me three times and I was terrified to cut it off. I brought it back and there was no one in the office for ten minutes I waited. I had to leave. I got charged for not filling it up but I couldn't cut it off or it wouldn't always crank up

aymar HFirst of all after I dropped off the vehicle two hours prior to the time that was required, I was then called and a message was left for me Saturday saying that I did not return the vehicle and the vehicle needed to be returned, and then Monday I found out that the mileage was way over what I drove it and the vehicle was back where it belonged. So I was charging $190 for a truck that only had for four days total $400 and a day of that I didn’t even use it which I was refunded like 40 bucks. I will never come back to that location again I probably won’t even use U-Haul again.
