Worst experience I have ever had renting a trailer and truck my reservation was for 10 AM. I arrived at 9:45 AM and completed the express check-in to get my equipment. I stood in line from 945 and did not get my truck until 1130 as the day went on also the truck that I received was noted that it was full of gas when I received it and that was not the case I have pictures of when I picked it up and when I dropped it off, I had filled it up because they had told me it was full when I picked it up and it was not full, so I paid extra in gas and then I also waited to explain this to a worker at this location and no one was to be found I stood for 40 minutes waiting for the worker to find her partner to just tell me that it is my loss and I’m out with the money that I had put in for gas Truly the worst experience I have ever had and it cost me time moving with movers and ultimately I will never use U-Haul again worst customer service

Stephen RThe lineup to pickup a pre-booked equipment for for more than 2 hours. The service at the counter was extremely slow. Out of two people at the computers only one was servicing customers. A lot of valuable time wasted in the line after all the booking has been predone during advanced pre-booking online. If well organized customers with pre-booking should be directed straight to pick up the equipment.
Raimundas VU haul is the best for all the best moving vehicles and they will charge you the one only yoy used for the day. Keep it up. Goodjob! SUPERB!

Kade FGas tank was less than a 1/4 tank full. Very inconvenient. The check in and check out for gas is inaccurate and will charge a ridiculous filling fee.

Kurt FFirst truck I had to use couldn't get the tailgate up generally speaking the people running it would check that before check the gate going up seeing if it's clean and everything before they gave it to me it was parked so close I had to go and walk around and find someone to move the truck cuz I couldn't get into it The cat was so close to empty that it was scary to even drive So I had to drive back to the Blackfoot U-Haul and then they rented and grown and still was hard and after discussion they said we are okay we'll catch you another truck but that took an hour out of my time The second truck was okay it was a little hard too lift the back end Yeah I didn't feel good about it at all
Lyman PThe manager and staff were late opening the store. The agent could not find my online booking. The additional blankets I ordered were not ready. I received no instructions on the use of the truck, and finally the cab and windshield were not cleared.

Donald SThe vehicle had AC that barely worked, the windshield wipers were in bad shape and streaking so bad I couldn’t drive it on a day it was raining, and the sun visor on the driver side was broken and constant going forward blocking my view or hitting me in the head if I put it beside me. To top it off the printer at the pickup location wasn’t working so I didn’t look at what the gas was on the contract before I left as it was emailed to me, and the gas gauge was listed as being 1/4 tank higher than it actually was when I opened my email to look at the contract once I was home. My fault I guess because I’m supposed to confirm the gas level before leaving the property but it was emailed instead of printed and it has usually been correct any other time I’ve used U-Haul.

Allan FI was very unimpressed with receiving a request for mileage confirmation after I was already driving to Canmore. Then to be told I drove more miles than I had the previous time even though this time my storage unit was much closer resulting in me driving less distance than the previous move. The ‘owner’ gave me a pretty much pound sand response to the question of why the bill was fifty dollars more. I will not use this rental company again. That I was given no initial paperwork because the printer was not working and then to get an email when I was already driving is very poor when it means fifty more dollars for something I was unable to confirm. But hey you have lots of customers so who cares right

Roman KI already rented Uhaul a few times, and most of them were great but today was frustrating. I booked a truck for 7 AM, and for no reason, it changed to 8:15 AM. It took me 40 min on the phone with an Uhaul employee to be able to pick up my truck through self checkout. The option wasn’t showing before because I was “early”. I truly hope I can get this rent for free or at least a great discount. Also, the AC dashboard vents weren’t working, only the central one next to the windshield.

GEORGIOS RHave equipment properly prepared (there was no gas and I was told to go fill it and pay for it myself). It took an hour to get through the lineup and it seemed like one of the cashier lady’s didn’t know what she was doing. We were also told not to park in the parking spaces provided as “if we or anyone else hits your vehicle, it’s not our fault”
Samantha TI have used uhaul at this location for years .& Spend about about $5000.00 there per month. I have never had a worse experience with the management as I had today . The manager on the phone was condescending and ignorant and was going to ban us for life. I barley spoke with her . We brought the truck back and the staff is not same as they have always been .Sad when this Uhaul was a really great group for a long time

Christopher SI+haul trailer 4x8 had a warped pole on the door making it nearly impossible to close, super warn down hitch ball made the ride ruff, when dropping off I found screws on the ground and very rude staff, will never go here again.

KELLY HThe only reason I ended up picking up at this location was because the original location I was meant to pickup at (6033 4 st SE Calgary) was because the owner of the store FORGOT to put the keys out for me to pickup. I was meant to pick up at 10am and ended up not getting the uhaul until close to 12pm. She was Beyond ridiculous and was not helpful at all. Ended up at the Blackfoot location (which only had 2 staff running the whole place on a Saturday and wait times were quite long) and was able to get a larger truck for a reduced price which helped the situation but was overall a huge waste of time and inconvenience.
