The staff here could careless about the customer experience; disinterested, not helpful. Had to ask rather than be prompted to get the information need to return the trailer. The only good part about this experience was the trailer itself worked well. On level of 1 to 10 this was a level 2 experience.

We were not impressed with this experience. 1 hour wait for the vehicle. Windows/mirrors were filthy and hard to see through. Credit card was overcharged and we are told there will be a 5 business day wait for refund.

Clean the inside of the trailer please. The inside of the roll-up door was caked in frozen slush and sand from highway travel done by a previous user. This made loading and unloading of furniture difficult and messy.

They organize we with the fuel level, they tell me no problem that is 3/4 of a tank for us. I told them your sure of that, told me yes. talking to the service men outside. I buy 48liter of fuel for 194km And U-Haul charge me 28,97$ on top of that for fuel surcharge. Bunch of crock!!!

I was charged for a full additional day for being 10 minutes passed my return time. This was in Calgary on one of the worst (if not THE worst) winter days where driving conditions were horrendous. The online check-in was not working at the time of pick-up so I waited 30 minutes to get the rental. I had booked it from 3-7 and didn't receive the keys until at least 3:30 but was apparently not provided the additional leeway time on drop-off. I feel strongly that I should be reimbursed.

I got stuck in the snow multiple times. The thread on tires were very low. Driving the truck was a complete nightmare.

I rented a trailer and needed a 7-4pin adapter for the trailer lights. The one that was sold to me did not work. The Uhaul employee said it was my truck wiring that was the problem(it was not) and sent me to a store specializing in hitch installs (not uhaul) where they checked my wiring and sold me a different adapter for $60 that worked. There were 4 other uhaul customers at the store after I arrived there with similar issues. I’m sure the owner of the store appreciates the extra customers but why couldn’t this have easily been checked at uhaul without me having to shell out $60??

It would have been nice to have winter tires on the truck or maybe chains. Got stuck twice. Otherwise it was a good experience .

Absolutely zero consideration for the extreme weather here today in Calgary. After returning the equipment without incident and driving my husband to his car, there was no offer of assistance when his car wouldn’t start due to the extreme cold weather in the city. Even though they had he capacity to help they would have just let him there. This is completely unacceptable and we will no longer be using your services.

Your online phone staff were great and the only reason I’d use uHaul again. First we had to call because my email confirmation did not show the actual location address and as there’s many in the same proximity at 7:30 in the morning we were confused and turned around at which location and it took me five minutes to get through to someone on the phone which was only your dispatch and they had to look at the location . The gentleman we spoke to on Saturday, December 23 was very helpful and extended an extra hour to to us running 15 minutes behind. Later when I had to call again as we were running an hour behind for a drop off the woman was super lovely and empathetic and offer to extended an extra couple hours which was a real stress reliever. The staff at the location the two girls working the counter were very unprofessional one had her feet on the counter and just motion for me to see the other girl and the other girl trying to be polite was giving me attitude. I was stressed out because we were late she shows no empathy or inquiry of why she just was very robotic and when I try to ask questions she gave me a look with her replies and would make a face at her friends with their feet up. We were given a truck with less than a quarter of a tank of gas Which cost us even more delay as we had to stop to get gas immediately and her response was very care less that because they may get cars overnight that it’s really up to be clients to make sure that the cars have gas. And there was just one a couple blocks away so they could be fueling themselves and though we appreciate this may be a challenge for the business anything less than half a tank is inconvenience to the renter. Additionally your service providers could be more compassionate and apologetic as opposed to making it our problem in their attitude . The gentleman that brought us the vehicle and that we returned it to were professional enough but there was no personalization.

There was some confusion related to miles v kilometers and my bill had to be rectified, with a credit back to my credit card., Slowed down the returns process. But it was sorted fine.
