AMY RThis was the first Bad rental truck I've had from U-Haul. This was an older model truck, and I'll never take one of those again!! The cabin light would not go on when the door was opened. I tested each of the light settings, and it would not work. When you stopped and shut off the truck, it would beep non-stop for 30-45 minutes. It was awful. The real door was difficult to raise and lower. It sometimes took more than one person to close it. Really bad - I'm 64 and it was too hard to open or close. Random high pitched whining noise while we were driving. The entire driver's side door gasket came off. It took forever to get it back in place, but I know it will fall out again. The steering was very loose - the truck drifted in the lane, so you had to be careful. These problems popped up immediately. I went to return the truck and get another, but the location had none in that size available. I had no choice than to keep it. Overall, this was the only poor experience I've had with U-Haul in over 40 years of moves. I would appreciate any kind of adjustment or compensation because of the problems. I will be renting a truck weekly for the next few weeks (this was already our third or fourth rental in as many weeks). The staff in Dover was excellent and tried to help each time I called. I love those people and don't blame them.

PATRICK LI went to the Dover location to pick up my moving truck at 8 an hr before they opened using mobile pick up. By 830 i was in tears and about to have a panic attack because it wasnt letting me finish processing the pick up transaction. The absolute angel of a man probably trying to enjoy his last few minutes of solitude before his day began came to the door as i was just standing outside sobbing😅needless to say he fixed every problem and i was out the door with the truck in 5 mins. Thanks again sir for helping this girl not have a complete breakdown on an already terrible day. Above and beyond service and above and beyond grateful.

MICHAEL DThe U-Haul app constantly crashes and freezes. Every time I rent a truck, it gives me problems — especially when taking or uploading the required photos. If the app freezes or closes, it doesn’t let me retake any pictures, which means I’m left with no proof of the truck’s condition. That’s not fair to the customer, and it feels like I’m getting screwed over by something completely out of my control. You need to fix the app so people can actually take and re-upload photos when it crashes.

MICHAEL DIt was a good truck and as clean as it could be but it was high mileage and made all sorts of noises. It fully met my in-town needs but the corporation should give this great dealership some new equipment.

Turns out they were locked in there and if we cut the plastic lock then we would have had to pay for them. This used up some of our precious space that we needed
